Chapter 22: A duel for Harry
After Thursday's Transfiguration class, Rolf said goodbye to Harry, who was sitting next to him again, and prepared to head back to the Hufflepuff common room.
But what he didn't expect was that at the edge of the stairs leading to the underground, he saw Malfoy waiting for him there.
"Hey, Rolf, we're going to have flying lessons in a minute, remember what I said earlier about teaching you how to ride a broomstick?
One thing to say, flying has always been a dream of human beings, whether Muggles or wizards, they have always worked hard for it.
So, Rolf is really interested in flying, especially being able to fly in the sky by himself, rather than flying in an airplane or something.
Rolf had known early in the morning that Gryffindor and Slytherin were going to have flying lessons this afternoon, and he was discussing it with Cedric over breakfast.
As for why they met Cedric again, maybe it was because the two of them woke up at the same time, and the roommates also surprisingly couldn't get out of bed?
So the two little badgers agreed to have breakfast together every morning.
Listening to the young wizards of the wizarding families around them, they excitedly discussed their experiences of riding magic brooms.
Interestingly, he saw that Hermione had been talking to the people next to her since she had eaten in the morning, and some of the flight instructions she had seen from the Quidditch Tracing that she had borrowed from the library.
Neville was also listening intently to Hermione's every word, hoping to get himself safe in the afternoon flying lesson.
"Of course, thank you for remembering me, I'll be right when I get back and put the book down!" he said, shaking the Transfiguration textbook in his hand at Malfoy.
It was a clear, breezy day, and the grass waved slightly under their feet as they walked briskly down the sloping grass toward a flat lawn across the field.
On the other side of the lawn is the forbidden forest, and in the distance the dark trees sway in the wind.
The Slytherin students were already there, and twenty broomsticks were neatly laid out on the ground.
When Harry saw Rolf walking with Malfoy, he said happily, "Rolf, are we meeting again so soon?" and winked at him.
It wasn't long before their flying teacher, Mrs. Hodge, arrived, and instead of paying much attention to the little badger mixed in with the snakes, he began to lecture on his own.
She has short gray hair and two yellow eyes, like the eyes of an eagle.
"Okay, what are you all waiting for?" She snapped, "Everybody stands next to a broomstick. Hurry, hurry, hurry. ”
Rolf stood in the open space on the side, because he didn't have a broomstick in front of him, but he should have the consciousness of skipping class.
"Stretch out your right hand and put it over the broomstick," called Mrs. Hooch in front, "and say, 'Get up!'"
"Get up!" Everyone shouted.
Harry's broom jumped into his hand at once, but there were only a few such obedient brooms.
Not to be outdone, Malfoy's broomstick jumped into his palm with great obedience, and he winked at Rolf in a boastful way.
Hermione's broomstick just rolled on the ground, and apparently not everyone had the same flair as Harry.
When Mrs. Hodge saw that everyone had succeeded in picking up the broomsticks, she showed them how to mount the broomsticks without sliding off them.
She walked up and down the line, correcting their hand grips. Rolf was humiliated to hear her criticize Malfoy for not doing things right.
After all, Malfoy is all playing around on his own, and his posture must not be so strict, especially to break his habits, which makes him extremely uncomfortable.
"Well, as soon as I whistle, you kick your legs off the ground and kick hard. ”
Mrs. Hodge said, "Hold the broom steady, rise a few feet, and then lean forward slightly and fall vertically back to the ground." Listen to my whistle, three, two......"
However, before Mrs. Hodge could shout, Neville was too nervous to be left on the ground, so he kicked hard and flew up.
Neville was even more nervous when he saw that he was the only one flying, and he didn't even have time to control the broomstick, but was carried by the broom all over the sky.
Mrs. Hodge was also visibly flustered when she saw it, and even forgot to cast a spell to save Neville.
"Yuga Dim Leviosa" Hermione quickly recited her newly learned levitation charm, only to see Neville float, Mrs. Hodge was visibly relieved, and many young wizards applauded Hermione's reaction.
Hermione also gave a triumphant smile, but everyone clearly overestimated the spell-casting ability of the first-year wizard.
Hermione's levitation charm suddenly vanished, and Neville slammed to the ground.
Mrs. Hooch hurried over to check if Neville was hurt, then muttered quietly, "Broken arm." He turned to the other students and said, "I'll take this child to the hospital, and none of you will be allowed to move, put the broom back where it was." ”
Malfoy walked over and bent over, ready to pick up Neville's memory ball to look at it, but Ron apparently didn't think so, thinking that Malfoy must be trying to bully Neville again.
Although Malfoy doesn't like the clumsy Neville, it means that he has to do something with Neville, right?
"Malfoy, what are you going to do! Give us Neville's Memory Orb back!" Ron said angrily.
Harry in the back also pulled Ron hard to calm him down, maybe there was something else hidden? After all, judging from Malfoy's relationship with him, he was not as annoying as Dali.
"Harry, he just wants to bully Neville, don't stop me, I'm going to teach him a lesson!" Ron said with a great deal of self-control.
Malfoy was also very angry when he heard this, and felt that he had been insulted, and said loudly, "You traitor to pure-blood wizards, what are you talking about!
Then he approached Ron, threw him the memory ball heavily, and said, "I'm going to fight you alone!"
If you're okay, see you in the prize showroom at midnight tonight, the doors are never locked, and the loser doesn't show up in Harry's eyes again!"
Huh? This plot is a bit wrong, how did it turn into a duel with Ron, and why Harry?
Although Rolf knew that Malfoy would most likely not go, he would secretly report it to Filch.
But Ron didn't know, and angrily said, "Why wait until the evening? ”
Malfoy was also stunned: "I don't want to be kicked out of school because the professor saw me duel with you, see you in the evening!" Malfoy finished speaking, and angrily pulled Rolf away.
Harry behind him is a little dilemma, Rolf and Malfoy are very good friends, Ron is also his roommate, get along every day, they have a conflict, who should I choose?
It's too hard for me!!!
"Why did you promise him? You must not wander around the school at night, think about how many points you will lose to Gryffindor if you get caught, and you will definitely get caught. ”
That's when Hermione stepped in to stop Ron's irrational decision, like an emotional bonus machine.
At this time, Ron was extremely angry, coupled with Hermione's chattering and dissuasion, he directly threw Neville's memory ball out, and shouted, "You can you up, No can no BB!"
Harry was stunned, the memory balls were all in Ron's hands, why did they suddenly fly out?
He didn't have time to take care of that much, and what Madame Hodge had just told him was forgotten by him.
PS: Is 6 more surprising? The main reason is that I have an obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the difference of 2,000 words is 50,000, and I have to make up for it!!
Isn't it worth your recommendation and investment to work so hard to waste the south?
