"Want to play chess?" Ron asked.

"I don't want to. ā€

"Then eat something, you haven't eaten since the morning, some bacon or something, right?"

"If you don't eat, I don't have an appetite. ā€

"Why don't we go see Hagrid?"

"Don't go...... You go with Al......"

Al looked at Harry, shook his head helplessly, he stopped Ron, and then said to Harry, "I know what you're thinking, Harry, you're thinking about the mirror, but you'd better not go tonight." ā€

Harry asked, puzzled, "Why?"

"I know you want to see your parents so badly, but to be so indulged in the illusion created by the mirror will only make your will slower and make you waste your time in front of it. ā€

In a serious tone, Al continued, "Because of all that illusory, look at what you've become now, listless in everything, and Filch, Snape, and Lady Loris are wandering around every night, what if they find you?"

"You spoke in a Hermione tone. ā€

Al gave Harry a blank look and said seriously, "Don't digress, Harry, I'm not kidding, really don't go." ā€

"You even roll your eyes now, you look like Hermione...... You've never rolled your eyes before. ā€

"Speaking of Hermione, it occurred to me that when she was leaving, she told us to continue looking for clues about Nicol Lemay, and we forgot about it. ā€

"Alas, I'm ashamed that we haven't found any information about Nicol Lemay. Ron sighed and said to Harry, "Leave that mirror alone, let's go find clues about Lemay, or we'll keep chattering when Hermione comes back." ā€

Harry had almost forgotten about Nicol Lemay because of the Magic Mirror, as if that matter had become less important, and who cared what the three-headed dog was watching, and even if Snape stole it, what did it have to do with him?

Therefore, no matter how much Al and Ron tried to persuade him, Harry couldn't get any interest, his heart had already flown to the Mirror of Eris, and no one could pull it back.

That night, Harry slipped into the cloak of invisibility and slipped out of the Gryffindor common room alone.

Looking at Harry's departing back, Al and Ron both shook their heads helplessly.

Nothing was said all night.

When Al awoke from his sleep, the first thing he saw was Harry half-lying on the bed like a statue, his eyes staring straight at the ceiling.

Al was startled, frowned and asked, "Harry, what's wrong with you?"

"I saw Dumbledore last night. ā€

"What?" Al was taken aback and asked, "Did he spot you?"

Harry nodded and said, "He's in that room too, standing next to the Mirror of Eris, and he spotted me as soon as I entered." ā€

"Is the Mirror of Eris the name of the mirror?" Al asked carefully, sorting out his words, "What about ......him?" Did you punish you?"

Harry shook his head and said, "Not really, but he removed the Mirror of Eris and told me not to look for it in the future, and he said the same thing as you, hoping that I would not indulge in the illusion that the mirror creates." ā€

Al was relieved that the students were wandering around the castle in the middle of the night, but for violating the rules of Hogwarts, if Dumbledore punished Harry, it would probably be more than just a penalty.

It's just that what Al didn't expect was that Dumbledore would let Harry go so easily.

For the rest of Christmas, Harry folded the cloak and placed it at the bottom of the box, looking completely dead on the mirror.

Hermione had returned the day before school had started, with mixed feelings, horrified by Harry getting up at night and wandering around the school, and disappointed that Al and they hadn't even figured out who Nicol Lemay was.

"Oh my God, I can't believe you're all about having fun this Christmas holiday!"

"And if you get caught by Snape or Filch, how many points will Gryffindor have to be deducted!"

Al, Harry, and Ron, in the face of Hermione's bombardment, all felt that they were very wrong, and no one dared to answer her, so they could only bow their heads and remain silent.

After school started, Al and the others began to use their recess time to continue their search for clues to Nicol Lemay, and although Harry was still convinced that he had seen the name somewhere, the sheer volume of books in the library still made them almost give up searching.

"When the hell are we going to find out!" said Ron, slamming a book on the table, venting his temper, but his impulsive action caused him a little trouble, and Mrs. Pince, the librarian, had begun to notice him.

"Is there anything wrong with you, child?" said Mrs. Pince with a stern glare at Ron.

Ron's face flushed, and even though Al was far away, he could feel his embarrassment, and Ron couldn't say a word, so he could only shake his head and silently put the book away.

Harry's time became even less as Quidditch training began again.

Wood was more demanding of his players than ever, and even in the rainy days after the heavy snowfall, his energy did not cool down.

The Weasley twins complained that Wood was turning into a training freak.

However, Al felt Wood was doing the right thing, because if they won their next game against Hufflepuff, they would be able to beat Slytherin in the House Cup for the first time in seven years!

Just as El had high hopes for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Harry brought them bad news.

In the Gryffindor common room, Harry whispered to Al and the others, "Wood just got the sad news that the next game will be refereed by Snape!"

"What, Snape as a referee?" Al exclaimed in surprise, "Where's Lady Hooch? Why would a Potions professor be a referee at a Quidditch match?"

"yes, if he becomes a referee, he won't do it fairly, everyone knows that he doesn't like Gryffindor students very much!" Hermione said worriedly, looking at Harry and frowning, "Besides, the person Snape hates the most, you." ā€

Harry sighed, he was not in a high mood, and said in a low voice, "I know, so we have to make sure that we play by the rules in the game, so that Snape has no reason to find a fault with us." ā€
