In a daze, Al seemed to hear something strange in his ears, he opened his eyes with great difficulty, and found himself in an ice cave, and after careful identification, Al realized that this was the White Witch's ice prison!
Why am I here? Haven't I been cast a curse by the White Witch?
Al vaguely remembered that he had been in pain after being spelled, but he had no memory of what had happened after that.
Stretching out his hands, Al could feel that his body was still cold, but it was already within an acceptable range, and although the color of his hands and feet was still a little blue, it was generally back to normal.
It seems that the effect of the curse is gone!
Al smiled self-deprecatingly, he understood that since the White Witch wanted to submit himself to her, it was impossible to simply kill him, but to slowly torture him to bring him to his knees.
At this moment, there was a slight sound of footsteps outside the iron door of the cell, and Al looked out of the door to find a slender figure creeping up to the door.
It turned out to be Hermione!
Hermione looked surprised when she saw Al clearly, and she drew her wand and cast a door spell to open the door of her cell.
"Al, how are you?" Hermione ran up to Al and grabbed him in her arms, "Are you alright? I'm scared to death!"
Seeing Hermione's tearful appearance, Al opened his mouth to speak, but felt his throat itch and couldn't make a sound.
"Oh my God, why is your body so cold!" Hermione noticed Al's anomaly, she touched Al's forehead, and exclaimed, "What did the White Witch do to you!?"
Two more men walked in the door, and Al looked up to see that it was Tumnath and Asaph.
Al hoarsely asked, "You...... Guys...... How...... Would be here ......."
Hermione pursed her lips and looked at Al distressedly, she took her own kettle from her waist, opened the lid, and fed Al some water.
Al's throat was moistened by the water, and it was indeed much more comfortable.
"After escaping from the White Witch, we met in the forest. "Because we couldn't reassure you, we came back to have a look." ā
"When we returned, we saw you fainting and being taken back to the castle by the White Witch's sleigh. Hermione continued, "So we're sneaking you along, intending to sneak you out while the White Witch isn't looking." ā
"It's too dangerous to do so, you'll be discovered by the White Witch. Al shook his head, "If you are also caught, then what is the point of me entangled with the White Witch!"
"Rest assured, the White Witch is gone. "We saw her leave, as if she were going to join her army and intend to fight Aslan on battle." ā
El is silent, this fight against the White Witch is finally going to war!
"Alright, let's get out of here. "I'm uncomfortable here, and I dare say Aslan needs you a lot." ā
Al suddenly remembered something, and he asked, "I saw Edmund before, didn't you rescue him?"
Hermione and the others looked at each other, then Hermione shook her head and said, "We saw that he was taken by the White Witch and went with that sleigh." ā
Al nodded, and was about to stand up, but suddenly felt a feeling of dizziness.
Hermione was taken aback, and she hurriedly hugged Al tightly in her arms.
"Al, what's wrong with you?"
Al shook his head and said nothing.
"You have to be careful!" Hermione said nervously, "I'll help you go." ā
Asaph slowly approached Al, and she said to Hermione, "Put him on mine, he is in poor health right now, we must send him to Aslan as soon as possible." ā
With Tumnath and Hermione in hand, Al was placed on Asaph's horse, and they walked outside the castle with Al on their side.
On the way out of the castle, Al saw many petrified dwarfs and wolves, and it seemed that the White Witch had been heavily guarded in order to prevent someone from robbing the prison, but it seemed that they were easily dealt with by Hermione.
......
When Al opened his eyes again, he found himself lying on a soft bed, and the sight before him was very unfamiliar, as if he were inside a tent.
There was a lot of noise outside the tent, and there were even some banging sounds.
Then the curtain of the tent was lifted, and Hermione walked in with a plate of food, and she was happy to see that Al had woken up, and said happily, "How are you awake?"
Al moved, he could feel the coldness in his body, it seemed to be completely gone, and his body was back to normal again.
"Not bad. Al nodded, then looked at Hermione and asked, "How long have I been asleep, and where is this?"
Hermione put the plate on Al's lap and said with a smile, "You've been sleeping for more than ten hours, and we're in Aslan's camp now, and this is the tent he arranged for you." ā
"Aslan's camp?" Al asked curiously, "Have you seen Aslan, and what does he look like?"
"Well, don't ask that much. Hermione snickered, "Let's have something to eat first." ā
Looking at the food in front of him, Al knew that he hadn't eaten in a long time, but being stared at by Hermione made him feel very uncomfortable.
"What? is there anything on my face?" Al asked, touching his face, strangely.
Hermione smiled and shook her head, didn't say anything, just pinned one side of her hair behind her ear and looked at Al with a smile.
As Al was eating, the curtain was lifted again, and a small head poked in through the door, peering inside.
Al recognized the man at a glance, it was Lucy.
Lucy showed a small head, looked at Al, and said with the same surprise, "Great, you've finally woken up." ā
"I'm ......" but before Al could say anything, he saw Lucy run out in a rage.
Seconds later, Peter, Susan, the Beavers, Tumnath, and Lucy all poured into Al's tent.
They surrounded Al in the middle, and they all watched him with great concern.
"How are you? Are you feeling better?"
Al looked at them, these were all friends he had made since coming to Narnia, although the contact had not been for long, Al could feel that they were all genuinely worried about him.
At this moment, Al felt that his heart was warm, as if for the sake of this world, no matter how much torture he suffered, it was worth it.
