Chapter 114: Voice
"Ah, I think we see something in common. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć Lockhart looked at the cat and smiled, "It's a pity I wasn't there at the time, I happened to know a spell that could have saved it." ā
However, Dumbledore ignored Lockhart, he turned his back to the door, and suddenly said, "Mr. Aaron, is there something you are standing there for?"
Only then did the people in the room notice Al's presence, and in an instant, everyone's eyes were focused on him.
Facing the stern eyes of Professor McGonagall and Snape, Al walked in very openly, and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Harry and the others are all friends of mine, so ......"
Professor McGonagall tried to chase El out, but Dumbledore waved him to stop her.
"Forget it, just let him stay here. ā
Dumbledore whispered a few more incantations and tapped Lady Loris with his wand, but there was still no response, and Lady Loris lay there stiff, like a freshly made specimen.
Al took advantage of this opportunity to take a closer look at the cat, it looked like Al met the people who were petrified by the White Witch in Narnia, could it be that the White Witch did it?
Al thought of the two lines on the wall again, which seemed to have nothing to do with the White Witch.
"I remember something very similar happening in Ouagadougou. "There were a series of attacks, which are detailed in my autobiography, and I gave the people there all sorts of amulets at that time, and the problem was solved at once......
"Maybe you can solve this problem now. Snape sneered and looked at him coldly, "As the teacher of our Defence Against the Dark Arts class, I think this should be your obligation. ā
Lockhart, however, turned to tidy up his bookshelf, and seemed to have something in there, which completely attracted his attention.
"Why is it stiff all over, as if it is frozen? Filch choked up, looking at Lady Loris through her fingers.
"All I know is that it's petrified. Dumbledore shook his head, "But I don't know exactly what happened. ā
"Ask him!" Filch screamed, turning his face to Harry, "he must have done it!"
"I didn't touch that cat at all!" Harry exclaimed.
"It's impossible for a sophomore to do that. Dumbledore said firmly, "It takes a lot of dark magic. ā
"Allow me to say a word, Headmaster. Snape's lips twitched as he stood in the shadows and said, "But we do have a few doubts, why on earth did they go to the hallway, and why didn't they attend the Halloween party?"
Harry, Ron, and Hermione hurriedly explained that they had gone to the death party and that there were hundreds of ghosts to testify to.
"But after this, why don't you come to the banquet?" said Snape, his dark eyes glistening in the candlelight, "why go to that hallway?"
Both Ron and Hermione looked at Harry, and Harry was clearly hiding something.
"Because...... We were tired and wanted to go to bed earlier. ā
Dumbledore glanced at Harry with an inquiring gaze, and then said firmly, "As long as he is not proven guilty, he is innocent, Severus." ā
Snape looked annoyed, as did Filch.
"My cat is petrified!" exclaimed Filch, his eyes bulging outward, "I want to see someone get some punishment!"
Al snorted coldly and said disdainfully: "Just because your cat was petrified, but you want to anger an innocent person, it seems that you are really a 'moral noble' person." ā
"What did you say!?" Filch was furious, looking at Al with rage.
"Calm down, Filch, we can cure it. Dumbledore said patiently, "Lady Sprout has recently gotten some mandrakes that will free Lady Loris from petrification once they have matured." ā
"Please leave it to me when the time comes. Lockhart suddenly interjected again, and he swore solemnly, "I have made that potion more than a hundred times, and I can even prepare it while dreaming......"
"I beg your pardon. Snape said coldly, "I think I'm the Potions teacher at this school." ā
There was an embarrassing silence.
"You can go. Dumbledore said to Harry, Allen, and the others, "There's nothing to do here, get out of here." ā
Harry was pardoned and left the office with Al and the others, and on their way back to the Gryffindor common room, they saw an empty classroom, so Harry pulled Al and the others inside, and gently closed the door.
"What the hell is going on? how did you end up there?" Al asked.
"I heard that voice again, right in my ears. "He said he was going to kill someone, and then we saw Lady Loris, and the writing on the wall. ā
Al remembered the day of confinement, and he remembered Harry having told him about the voice, but he thought Harry was having auditory hallucinations.
"Did you hear that voice?" Al asked Hermione and Ron.
Ron shook his head, but Hermione didn't answer, but sniffed it close to Al with her nose, then frowned and said, "Why do you smell on you......?"
Al's heart jumped, afraid that she would find out that she was with Luna before, so he hurriedly interrupted: "When is it, can you care about the point!"
"You say, shouldn't I have told them about the voice I heard?" said Harry.
"It's better not to say it!" Ron said without thinking, "it's not a good sign to hear voices that others can't hear, even in the wizarding world. ā
Harry heard something in Ron's tone and asked, "You believe me, don't you?"
"Of course I do. Hermione nodded, "But...... You have to admit it's bizarre......"
"I know it's bizarre. Harry said, "It's all weird, what's the matter with the writing on the wall? The Chamber of Secrets has been opened...... What does that mean?"
"Oh, that reminds me of something. Ron said slowly, "It seems like someone told me about the Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets...... Probably Bill......"
Then the bell rang out of nowhere, and it reached the ears of El.
"Well, it's twelve o'clock. Al said, "Let's go back to rest, but don't wait for Snape Post to come and trouble me and give us points." ā
