Chapter 38: Clues
Al looked at Hermione and asked in a low voice, "What do we do now?"
"Look at me. Pen, fun, pavilion www. biqugeγ infoβ
Before Al could react, Hermione hurried out of the Gryffindor stands and disappeared into the crowd.
In the arena, others had already begun to notice Harry's anomaly, and they looked at Harry, pointing and talking.
Al re-pointed the binoculars at Harry, and noticed that his broom was shaking even more. The Weasley twins flew up to help Harry stabilize his broomstick, but Harry's broom jumped higher and higher as they approached.
Slytherin took advantage of the opportunity to score several goals.
Al pointed his telescope at Snape again, just in time to see Hermione struggling through the crowd and onto the Slytherin stands, getting closer and closer to Snape along her seat.
Maybe Hermione was in such a hurry that she didn't stop to say sorry when she accidentally knocked down Professor Quirrell. Professor Quirrell fell to his feet on all fours.
Al watched as Hermione approached Snape's side, crouched down, took advantage of the unpreparedness, drew her wand, and secretly cast a spell.
Bright blue flames burst out of Hermione's wand and burned under Snape's robes.
It was only a few seconds before Snape realized he was on fire, and with a low cry, he quickly stood up and extinguished the flames.
Hermione snickered and hurried back down the row of seats. She returned to Al's side breathlessly, a look of excitement on her face, and said, "Well, Snape will never know what is going on." β
Al gave a thumbs up and complimented, "Well done." β
High in the air, without the distraction of the spell, Harry seemed to be back to normal immediately, and he was able to control the broomstick without any problems.
At this moment, a flash of golden light flashed, and Harry's eyes swept the trail of the Golden Snitch, and he swooped down towards the Golden Snitch with his mouth wide open.
In a chaotic chase, Harry eventually landed on the ground.
Harry was seen covering his mouth with his hand as if he was going to vomit, and after retching a little more, a golden object was spat out of Harry's mouth and into the palm of his hand.
"I caught the Golden Snitch!" Harry shouted, holding the Snitch aloft.
The game ended with a cheer as Gryffindor won the season with a 170-60 win over Slytherin.
"He didn't catch the Golden Snitch, he almost swallowed it!" Flint yelled in indignation, but it didn't work at all, as Harry hadn't broken any rules.
Lee Jordan was still shouting the result of the game with joy, and the whole audience cheered and applauded Harry.
After the game, at Hagrid's warm invitation, Al, Hermione, Harry, and Ron came to Hagrid's cabin as guests.
Hagrid's hound, Tooth, welcomed the El's arrival, and its tail seemed to be about to snap.
Hagrid made them strong tea and served them rock crust cake again.
Al saw that Hermione had picked up a piece of rock skin cake and was about to put it in his mouth to taste it, but he hurriedly stopped her, gave her a few glances, and motioned for her not to eat it.
The hardness of the rock skin cake is really not something that ordinary people can bear.
After a moment of politeness, the conversation gradually entered the topic.
"Snape did it," Hermione explained to everyone what she saw, "Al and I saw it, he was casting a spell on Harry's broomstick, muttering and eyes fixed on Harry. β
Al took a sip of tea and nodded.
Ron didn't know anything about it because he wasn't standing with Al or Hermione, and his mouth was wide open in surprise with a look of disbelief.
"Nonsense, why would Snape do such a thing?" said Hagrid, whose telescope had been snatched by Hermione at the time, so he hadn't seen Snape chanting the incantation, so it was impossible to believe what Hermione said.
Al and the others exchanged glances, not knowing how to talk to him, and in the end, it was Al who decided to tell the truth.
"We found something before. Al said to Hagrid, "On Halloween, Snape tried to enter another room through the big dog with three heads, but the big dog bit him and prevented him from succeeding. β
Hermione added, "We think Snape is trying to steal something that the big dog guards. β
Hagrid put down the teapot heavily, his face solemn.
"How do you know about the three-headed dog Luwe?"
"Three-headed dog Luwe?"
Al and the others looked at each other, it turned out that the three-headed dog had a name, but how did Hagrid know?
"Yes, it's my pet, I bought it from a Greek I met at the hotel last year, and I lent it to Dumbledore to keep an eye on......"
"Guarding what?" asked Harry eagerly.
Hagrid, apparently aware that he had slipped his tongue, said roughly, "Okay, don't ask, it's top secret, you know?"
Hermione gave Harry a blank look, blaming him for being too talkative. She thought that if Harry hadn't urged Hagrid just now, Hagrid would have kept talking and confiding everything he knew.
"But Snape wanted to steal it. Harry still didn't give up.
"Nonsense. Hagrid added, "Snape is a teacher at Hogwarts, and he would never do anything like that." β
Hermione asked aloud, "Then why did Snape want to kill Harry?"
What had just happened on the pitch seemed to have changed Hermione's opinion of Snape a lot.
Hermione continued, reluctantly, "I read in books that if you want to cast a disturbing charm on a broomstick, you have to keep an eye on it, and I saw it, Snape's eyes didn't blink, it must be a curse. β
"I tell you, you're wrong!" Hagrid said angrily, "I don't know why Harry's broomstick behaved the way it did, but Snape would never want to kill a student!"
"Now, listen to me, you're meddling in something that has nothing to do with you, and it's dangerous. Forget the big dog, forget what it's guarding for, it's the ...... between Professor Dumbledore and Nicol Lemay."
"Aha!" said Ron, "and a man named Nicol Lemay is involved, isn't it?"
Hagrid was furious, he was angry with himself, hated himself and slipped his mouth again.
In the evening, in the Gryffindor common room, everyone held a small party to celebrate the victory, and the Gryffindors cheered, danced, shouted and shouted in the common room, and vented the joy of victory.
