Albert opened the werewolf's fanged mouth and poured a simplified version of the coagulation potion into it.
As the reddish-brown liquid slid from the esophagus into the stomach, the werewolf snapped open its eyes and began to struggle violently, accompanied by a low roar of pain.
Albert quickly tied the werewolf's mouth with a rope and stepped aside. Under the influence of the blood condensation grass, wisps of viscous, liquid-like black gas emerged from the werewolf's body, and as the black gas gushed out, the werewolf began to change. The extent of its struggle became smaller and smaller, and the gray hair on its body fell off in large patches, revealing its original skin, the green light in its eyes gradually faded, and its body was shrinking.
After a few moments, the werewolf turned into a middle-aged man with a red body, curled up on the ground.
"Fortunately, Your Excellency Baron Peacockgrass. Albert said expressionlessly, staring at those confused eyes.
"Who are you?" the confusion in the middle-aged man's eyes turned to fear, and he asked in a trembling voice, looking at the two people in the dark.
"Let me introduce myself, my name is Albert Violet, an elite member of the Mage's Guild, from Blackwater Castle. Albert still had no expression on his face, and he never took his eyes off the other, only a hint of disappointment in his eyes.
Could such an unbearable person be Baron Peacock Grass? He thought to himself, could it be that the shadow made a mistake?
"Hello. The middle-aged man nodded, his voice no longer trembling as before, "Brooke Peacock Grass." ā
"I know who you are. Albert smiled and pulled off the sheet and threw it at the other, "Dear Lord Baron, let's get down to business." ā
"Do you want to... What do you want to do?" Albert's warm smile was extremely hideous in Brooke's eyes, he swallowed his saliva, and his just calm heart rippled again, and the fear of the unknown made him sit on pins and needles, his body trembled involuntarily, and cold sweat also came as promised, soaking his cheeks.
"Don't tell me you forgot about you becoming a werewolf. As he spoke, Albert's face darkened.
"What werewolf?" Brooke asked, suspicious, his blank look not like a lie.
Albert stared at the other man, "You have five minutes. ā
"I really don't know, I haven't even heard of werewolves. Brooke shook his head again.
"Okay. Albert nodded, grabbed Brooke by the neck, and said gloomily, "Then you can die." ā
"I really don't know, please don't kill me. Brooke knelt on the ground, trembling violently, and looked at Albert with pleading eyes.
"I hate lies. Albert's expression became hideous, "Don't think I don't know what you're up to, if you really don't know, why would the vampires pick on you and not the other nobles." As the words fell, his hand began to exert force slowly, "It will not be so easy to control a noble territory and avoid the eyes of thousands of townspeople, and powerful vampires can't do it." He gritted his teeth and said, "Yes?" ā
Feeling a growing sense of suffocation, fear took over every corner of Brooke's heart.
I said. Eventually, he said in an inaudible voice.
Albert sneered and threw the other man to the ground, "I want to know every detail between you and the vampire. ā
"As you wish, Lord Violet. Brooke nodded, and after a moment of silence, he spoke: "A year ago, I was approached by a man dressed in a black robe with an eerie body that promised me wealth and a strong army. ā
At this, Brooke seemed to be silent in his old fantasy, until Albert's cough rang out.
"That's right, it's a vampire, I don't even know his name, he calls himself the High Lord of the Blood Clan. Brooke smiled self-deprecatingly.
I really didn't know what evil he had fallen for at the time, and I believed the promise made by the devil, he sighed, and continued the unfinished story, "The vampire fulfilled his oath and lived in my castle with his wealth, and an army of werewolves. But before I could celebrate, the vampire took off his mask and stabbed his sharp nails into my chest. Brooke's voice grew deeper, and the anger and regret in it could be heard.
"Have you ever seen the vampire werewolf legion?" Albert asked.
His eyes were cold, and he did not show any pity, such a stupid and greedy person did not deserve sympathy at all.
"Of course. Brooke nodded, recalling the scene, "It was a terrifying force of 500 werewolves, the most disciplined soldiers I have ever seen, unselfish, fearless and painless, and absolutely loyal. ā
"Are you sure there are only 500 werewolves?" Albert was stunned.
He was a little incredulous, the goblin had said that vampires had come to the surface decades ago.
Could it be that the Goblin Chief was lying? No, even if the Goblin had lied to him, Chevis wouldn't have lied to him.
"You're lying. Albert said gloomily before Brooke could reply, "Tell me the truth, and if you continue to deceive me, I will kill you." ā
"No, Your Excellency the Magician, everything I say is true, I swear. As he spoke, Brooke fell to his knees with a thud, his head pressed against the ground, and his body trembled again involuntarily.
After a moment of silence, Albert spoke, "I can trust you, but only temporarily. As he spoke, he picked up Brooke, who was limp to the ground like mud, and stared into the other party's eyes, "To answer my last question, where are the werewolf legions stationed?"
"Five kilometers to the east there is a Pige Mountain, and the werewolves are hidden in one of the peaks. Brooke said without thinking.
"Let's hope it's all true. Albert nodded, "Otherwise, you'll end up in a terrible situation." He looked at the other man, "I will kill you in the most cruel way possible." ā
Brooke opened his mouth, and before he could speak, he suddenly felt an evil force welling up in his body.
He fell to his knees again, hunched over, his hands clutching his hair, his expression hideous and painful, his eyes glowing green.
"Whew. A beastly roar rang out, and Brooke's body swelled violently, his skin cracked, and long gray hairs poked out of his pores.
Moments later, Brooke transforms back into a tall werewolf again. At the same time, Albert made a lightning strike, knocking Brooke to the ground. "Go wake up the others, it's time for us to go. He told Shadow as he spoke, taking a rope from his bag and tying Brooke up.
