Chapter 19: The Boys of the Order of the Remnant of Sin

"Merciful God, I will give all I have, and I beg you not to abandon me altogether."

A dark shadow overshadowed all of Agnes' vision, and she couldn't see anything clearly.

She could only faintly hear a slightly hoarse voice praying, with a little pain and sadness.

To be honest, this voice has nothing to do with good sounds, but Agnes thinks it's a bit like the voice of a teenager in the middle of a voice change.

She subconsciously focused her attention on the source of the sound, the light and shadow in front of her gradually became clear and bright, and Angnes' vision appeared with a pair of clasped hands, in a standard prayer position, then the stone paved floor, and the black trousers of the body owner.

Agnes frowned a little uncomfortably, she was in a subjective perspective, and everything in front of her seemed to be covered with a gray veil, giving her the feeling of being in a dream.

The sound of prayer in her ears died down, and Agnes looked around strangely, her vision shifting. It was easy for Agnes to conclude that the reason for the shift in her vision was that the body had deflected its head in response to her thoughts, and it was clear that she had taken direct control of the man's body after devoting her attention to it.

But the consciousness of the owner of this body did not die because of her, because she could feel that another consciousness also existed in this body.

She had a feeling that she could erase the existence of that consciousness at will, or she could regain control of her body to the other person, and she had complete control over that consciousness.

Instead of rushing to hand back control to the other party, Agnes casually controlled the body and stood up, slowly turning her body and head, her eyes sweeping across the room.

She saw a stone chamber, and there was a slight dampness in the air. The whole stone room looks a little shabby, with only a desk, a sideboard, and a wooden bed. On one side of the stone chamber there is a small square window through which you can see the crimson moon outside.

Agnes walked over to her desk, where she looked down and read the contents of a notebook that was spread out.

The notes were written in Rune, and Agnes was glad she had studied Rune.

"Who is he?"

"The teacher never told me His honorable name, he only said that we should feel the connection with Him in our souls, bring ourselves close to Him, and serve Him."

"The teacher told me that we were His students, sacrifices, guards, and His belongings."

"We use His power, practice His ways, and ultimately come to Him and become a part of Him."

"I asked the teacher, what is His divine name?"

"The teacher spat out two syllables that I didn't understand with a feverish face, and then explained to me that these two syllables meant endless suffering."

"Those two syllables seem to have a mysterious power, with an inexplicable sense of shock to me, maybe this is the power of God's name, I think I may have been moving closer to Him since I heard those two syllables."

"I asked the teacher, why do we call it the 'Order of the Remnant of Sins' instead of putting God's name on the Order like those churches?"

"The teacher told me that His name, though only two syllables, contains an infinite number of meanings, not just a simple explanation of the words."

The doctrine of the Order is derived from those two syllables. We believe that all the sufferings that human beings experience in one lifetime, desire, irrationality, and ignorance, are the root causes of suffering, causing us to commit countless sins. But desire is necessary for human beings, and sensibility is necessary for a person to have compassion, and knowing one's own ignorance is the only way to walk on the road of pursuing perfection. We must fall into endless suffering and become a part of Him. ”

"Our sins as human beings are endless, hence our name the Order of the Remnant."

Agnes casually closed the notebook and received it on the table.

"Order of the Remnant." Agnes read it meaningfully.

She opened the door to the stone chamber and looked out.

It seemed to be a monastery that didn't know where it was, and there were no people in the corridors, only the crimson moonlight casting a hazy veil over the ground.

Agnes frowned and looked down at the costume this body was wearing, it was just the formal attire of an ordinary rune man, it was obviously not in line with the atmosphere of the monastery, but she didn't know why it was in the convent.

In the corridor outside the door, a man dressed in the priest's costume of the Church of the Goddess of the Night looked over and asked with concern, "Dreiser, is there anything wrong with you?" ”

Agnes couldn't help but frown in her heart, and put her index finger on her lips.

The other party smiled in a low voice and said, "It's okay, Dreiser, you are not a believer in the goddess, and it is not clear that the church of the goddess is not like other churches, and there is no great quiet period at night." ”

Agnes nodded, looking a little helpless, and said, "I don't know. ”

The other party smiled heartily and said, "It's okay, after all, you just accidentally stayed here for one night." ”

"Did you come out for something?" The other party asked.

Agnes looked down and asked, "I'd like to ask...... How do I get to the bathroom? ”

The other party was stunned for a moment, shook his head with a smile and said, "You can see it if you go to the end of the corridor." ”

Agnes thanked the other and walked to the bathroom with a serious expression.

She stood still at the sink in the bathroom, took the pool of water, and looked at her face on the water.

As Agnes expected, it was a youthful face, brown hair and black eyes, and a classic Rune look, which Agnes silently remembered in her heart.

Agnes then handed back control of her body to the consciousness in her body, and her vision suddenly increased, as if looking down on the other party from above.

The young man's face suddenly became agitated, and he ignored the slightly dirty ground, and knelt down on the ground and prayed.

"Lord, Lord, is that you?"

Agnes frowned and ignored the other.

The boy did not complain in the slightest that Agnes did not answer, he only whispered a prayer with some excitement: "Thank you that the Lord is willing to use my body, may the Lord be satisfied with my body enough." ”

"O merciful Lord, please forgive me for my cowardice and doubts, and I will give all I have, and I will only be one with the Lord......"

Agnes unconsciously had a black line at the boy's speech, and she ignored the boy's prayers and took back the spirituality she had put into the connection.

The light and shadow flashed in front of her, the figure and words of the boy were distorted and blurred, and Agnes felt countless connections again.

"Investing too much in spirituality will directly replace the other person's control of the body."

"Don't want the Order of Remnant." With this in mind, Agnes carefully controlled the amount of spirituality she put into it, and touched another connection.
