Volume 2 The Beginning of the Legend Chapter 1 The Appearance of the White Forest

Somewhere, and at some time, a little girl in a shabby patch and a mud-stained dress walked along a mountain path with a basket.

She looked at the sky with some concern, it was still sunny before going out this morning, why was the sky now cloudy and windy.

When the little girl saw such a day, she was anxious to go home, but now she could not return home.

Because she has to go out every day to pick mushrooms and wild vegetables to support a small part of the food for the family of four.

If she ran home in a panic for fear of thunder and rain, her father and mother would have scolded her.

Come on, Betty, you're not a kid anymore, you can overcome it!

Betty tidied up the straw hat she wore on her head, and if it did rain, she would have to rely on it to shelter herself.

I don't know if it's because of Betty's luck, although the thunder is rolling in the sky, and the lightning and thunder are thundering in the clouds, but not a drop of rain falls from the sky.

It's nice that I can go home clean and tidy!

Betty looked at the gray sky, a heartfelt smile on her immature red face.

Now, hurry up and collect mushrooms, and hopefully you'll be lucky enough to finish picking mushrooms before the afternoon, so you can go home early today!

For some reason, there are so many mushrooms and wild herbs today, and Betty vaguely remembers that she had picked them a few days ago, but now there are a lot of mushrooms, and they are growing so fast!

In this wood, Betty cheered and carried the old basket in her hand, and collected mushrooms stained with morning dew in the soil one by one, and continued to go deeper into the woods.

As Betty progressed, she felt a little strange about why the mushrooms and wild vegetables were white today, and though she didn't hate white, she still felt a little strange.

It was only then that Betty realized that she had gone deep into the woods, a place she had never been before.

Betty remembered what her father and mother had told her not to go into the depths of the woods, where there might be lurking ferocious beasts.

Thinking of what her parents had told her, Betty shuddered, and she took the basket in her hand, carried the hem of her skirt, and hurriedly turned around to get out of the dense forest.

It was her turn that made her see a strange scene that she would never forget in her life.

A dozen elk and hares gathered in the distant woods, and their bodies even emitted a faint white light, even in the story of the old man next door, Betty had never heard such a spectacle.

Out of naïve curiosity, Betty forgot to leave the woods for a moment, and slowly approached these strange creatures, trying to get some of their shapes.

When she got closer, Betty noticed that the elk and rabbits, which were usually hard to see, had not fled in panic because they saw humans.

Instead, they paced around the woods, but they still circled around in a circle.

Betty got closer and realized that even the flowers and plants here were glowing white, and only from a very close distance could they see their light.

Betty looked around, everything that made her curious, and she forgot her parents' instructions and her intention to go home.

Betty quietly approached an elk and wanted to touch its fluffy fluff, but the elk did not run away, but calmly faced Betty's petting and let out a comfortable chirp.

Betty laughed happily, a rare moment of joy for her.

Soon Betty's eyes were drawn to the glowing flowers in the depths of the woods, and she found that the more she looked inward, the more dazzling the light became.

Betty couldn't contain her curiosity, and walked deep into the woods with the elk and rabbit around her, and the light almost enveloped her.

After walking for a few minutes, Betty seemed to be in the middle of the story, and the soft light enveloped everything, and even Betty's early morning fatigue on the mountain disappeared at this moment.

Betty fell down on the soft lawn and shouted comfortably, this is such a beautiful place, if only the house was so comfortable!

Suddenly, Betty saw a dark figure out of her peripheral vision.

Frightened, she immediately jumped up from the grass, looked at the dark figure nearby in horror and didn't dare to speak,

After a while, Betty saw that the figure was not moving, and she was surprised,

"Please, who are you, why are you in this place? Is this your home? I'm sorry, I'll leave right away!"

Betty said so many words in one breath out of fear, and she didn't know if this person could hear clearly, and she didn't want to stay here any longer, so it was better to go home quickly.

Betty glanced at the figure secretly, he didn't answer his words, he should have agreed with her to go back, right?

Betty then picked up the basket that lay on the grass and tiptoed to get out of the place.

But she hadn't gone a few steps when she suddenly noticed that all the cute animals that had been following her had disappeared.

When Betty looked back, it turned out that they had all run near the dark figures, and Betty was very worried, she didn't want these beautiful animals to be hurt by the figures.

Betty looked at the pitch-black figure, and her body couldn't help but tremble a little, but in order to save these cute animals, she finally made up her mind to take a few steps forward and save these animals.

With great difficulty, Betty made a decision, and Betty trembled and walked towards the dark figure.
