165. The use of arithmetic divination
Scott walked out of Professor Victor's office with ease.
All the way to the Great Hall, sitting at the long table for lunch, his face still overly palpable with joy.
"Scott? What good things happened? ”
Eddie asked, and Milton and Roger stared at him curiously.
"Ahem."
Scott coughed lightly, straightened his tie, and raised his head slightly.
"In the future, please call me a soothsayer."
"Did you suddenly awaken the Heavenly Eye?" Roger was amazed.
"That's not right." "Scott didn't take a divination class, he just took an arithmetic divination class," Milton said. ”
"That's right."
It occurred to Scott that Milton had taken a divination class.
"How are you doing in your divination class?" He asked Milton.
"Spirituality has become a little dull." Milton said calmly, "I didn't expect that the loss of musical talent would trigger a series of chain reactions." ”
He shook his head and smiled slowly, "But that's the price I should pay. ”
Scott suddenly couldn't get a little shaken.
Instead, Milton smiled and said, "It seems that you have achieved amazing results in this class of arithmetic divination, congratulations, Scott." ”
"Thanks, but I've only scratched the surface." Scott reached out and made a "little bit" gesture with his thumb and forefinger.
"Really?"
Eddie's eyes rolled, and he pretended to say to Scott, "Please do the math for me, Master Trollope." ”
Scott ignored him and began to concentrate on his meal.
"Please, Master Trollope!"
Eddie is still playing energetically.
"What do you want to count?"
Scott glanced at him.
"Do the math for me." Eddie pretended to be shy, "When will my love come?" ”
Scott said angrily, "Don't you just like money? ”
"Who said that?" Eddie doesn't admit it, "I'm obviously yearning for wonderful love!" ”
"I'm sorry, I can't."
Scott swallowed the food in his mouth and shook his head in refusal.
"Arithmetic divination cannot measure things that are too far away."
"Poof."
"Hahaha......"
Milton and Roger immediately burst out laughing, as did their classmates sitting near them.
"What do you mean!" Eddie was angry, "I've decided, I'm going to find a girlfriend in a week to slap you in the face!" ”
"Good, I'm looking forward to it." Scott gave him a standard smirk.
"Seriously, I'm looking forward to it!" Roger patted Eddie on the shoulder.
Milton gave Eddie an encouraging look, "Come on, Eddie!" ”
"Come on, Eddie!"
The surrounding classmates said in unison.
Lunch ended with everyone's laughter and Eddie's sullenness.
After the afternoon lessons, Scott and his roommates went back to their dorm room to put down their books and left again.
Roger goes to Quidditch training, Milton goes to a classical music club to practice, and Eddie embarks on a "journey" of an underground merchant with a backpack.
Scott, on the other hand, arrives at the college library and finds Ms. Gray.
"Good afternoon, Ms. Gray."
He still greeted the ghost lady politely.
Miss Gray turned around and smiled slightly.
"Scott."
Since reconciling with Ravenclaw, the expression on her face has become more and more vivid.
"You came to me, did you have an idea about finding the crown?" She asked curiously.
"I want to try divination with arithmetic!" Scott spoke directly to her.
"Arithmetic divination? Maybe a good idea! ”
Ms. Gray raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"But have you really learned, I mean, real arithmetic divination."
Skord nodded, "I've asked Professor Victor for advice, maybe I can try." ”
He didn't say too much.
But he had already thought about it, no matter whether his arithmetic divination level could really figure out where the crown was, he would use this excuse to find the crown.
Scott knew that the more things he went through, the more intriguing doubts there would be, and it was better to try to be as open-minded as possible.
"Then try it!"
Ms. Gray was a little eager to take the plunge.
"I used to be obsessed with arithmetic and divination, which my mother was good at, but apparently I lacked some talent in it."
She was the first to float to a table and chair in the corner of the library, where she waited.
"I probably have some talent in that."
Scott smiled and walked over to sit down.
He unfolded the parchment he had rolled up in his hand and spread it on the table, and pulled out a pen.
"Now, let's write down the goal of divination."
He used a pen to write [Ravenclaw's Crown] on top of the parchment.
"Good afternoon, what are you doing?"
At this time, several students who were reading books in the library gathered around.
Luna was among them, and she could see the words Scott had written down at a glance.
"Ravenclaw's crown?"
She repeated curiously, then at Scott and Ms. Gray.
"Do you want the crown back?" She asked, "Speaking of which, my dad made one at home." ”
Luna's words caught the attention of the others, and it wasn't long before Scott's surroundings were crowded with curious Ravenclaw students.
Probably because Mrs. Gray was here, no one spoke loudly.
But Scott heard their whispers.
None of the Ravenclaws believed that Scott could find the legendary tiara, which had been missing for thousands of years.
Some even believe that the tiara is just a legend, like the Slytherin locket and the Hufflepuff gold cup.
All that has been seen has been the sword of Gryffindor.
Still, that doesn't stop the Ravenclaws from treating Scott's behavior as an interesting experiment.
They were curiously looking forward to his actions and the results.
"What are you going to do to find the crown, Scott?" Ethan, the male prefect of the fifth grade? Cooper asked Scott.
He and Scott had faced each other at the Dueling Club last semester, and the two were fairly familiar.
"Divination with arithmetic." Scott told the truth.
"Arithmetic divination?"
Hearing Scott's words, the onlookers seemed to immediately become more interested and began to discuss with each other.
They didn't think it would work, but they also thought it must be a fun attempt!
"Quiet!" Miss Gray spoke suddenly, "Don't bother us! ”
As soon as she finished speaking, the library fell silent.
The Ravenclaws all looked at Ms. Gray in amazement.
But Ms. Gray ignored them, and she said to Scott, "Go ahead." ”
Scott nodded, "Now enumerate the known conditions." ”
Subsequently, he took the lead in writing down three names, namely [Rowena?] Ravenclaw], [Helena?] Ravenclaw], [Tom?] Riddle].
Subsequently, he followed Ms. Gray's words and wrote [Albania], [Forest], [Hollow Tree].
Then Ms. Gray whispered a number of words, all of which were words to describe a crown.
Scott nodded, and scribbled the words down the paper in turn.
Including the phrase inscribed on the crown - [Extraordinary wisdom is the greatest treasure of mankind].
Scott thought about it for a moment, and wrote [Voldemort], [Steal], [REDACTED].
As he wrote the word "Voldemort", he heard the sounds coming from all around him.
Almost everyone gasped.
