414. Sightseeing trips in Vienna
At 2 p.m., Scott's Iberia flight landed at Vienna International Airport.
As he walked out of the station following the crowd, he saw Roger and Milton waving to him in a conspicuous spot.
Hanging the backpack he was carrying over his shoulder, Scott strode over to the two of them.
"Long time no see, my friend."
Roger spread his hands as if they hadn't seen each other in a long time.
"Long time no see."
Scott cooperated and hugged him, then turned around and hugged Milton.
"Congratulations."
"Thank you."
Afterward, Scott said to Milton, "Where do we go now?" Find a hotel near your accommodation. β
"No, you can go to my rented apartment." Milton said, "Gotta come." β
"No problem." Roger agreed.
The three of them walked out of the airport and rented a car to return to downtown Vienna.
Because of the need for rehearsals, Milton took Roger and Scott to his rented apartment and left in a hurry.
Of course, Scott and Roger did not nest in the apartment, but chose to go out sightseeing after putting down their luggage.
Located on the banks of the Danube River, Vienna is the capital and largest city of Austria and a major cultural center in Europe, known as the "Music Capital of the World".
Before World War I, Vienna was the capital of the Holy Roman Empire, the Archduchy of Austria, the Austrian Empire, and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
On top of that, the city's central Old Town is listed as a World Heritage Site.
There are many places to visit in such a city.
Scott and Roger went straight to the inner city, known as the "heart of Vienna".
The two of them walked in a somewhat narrow street with great interest.
These streets are cobbled and criss-crossed.
The streets are lined with Baroque, Gothic and Romanesque buildings, with the medieval Basilica of San Stefan and the Twin Towers rising high spires.
"It looks ancient, but there's no magic at all." Scott said with a smile.
Roger shrugged his shoulders, "Obviously, because there's a lot of religious here. β
Of course, there are also interesting places in the Old Town such as the Vienna State Opera, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Ringstrasse, jazz bars, dance halls and art galleries.
After a quick walk, I settled dinner outside and didn't get back to my apartment in Milton until 9pm.
And Milton didn't return until 10 p.m.
Like how he behaved before every exam, he looked a little anxious.
Of course, the first recital in his life was much more important to him than the exams at the house, and Milton was already an improvement by showing this level of anxiety.
βthese are the words that Roger said comforting Milton.
But that doesn't seem to have a very comforting effect.
Milton was still suffering from insomnia.
Scott and Roger could only chat with him to ease his anxiety.
"I didn't expect ......"
Scott stopped talking.
Milton did seem to have grown a lot, but Scott didn't expect him to grow so thoroughly.
Roger felt normal, "Even if there are some changes, it is impossible to be reborn in such a short period of time." β
"Are you talking about cool things?"
Milton looked helpless.
Scott and Roger coughed and quickly began to change the subject.
The two began to talk about Milton's upcoming cast repertoire the next day, which Milton had made in the past few years, and most of them had heard it.
"I always knew you were a genius and you were going to shine, and now you did."
"As long as you can play at the level you used to, you will definitely be able to conquer all the audiences."
"You've conquered the musicians, and you've conquered everyone else."
"You're the best."
The two complimented each other, which made Milton cry and laugh a little.
He said of another of his worries, "My teacher wanted me to apply to the Vienna University of Music. β
He called the musician who admired him a teacher, and it seemed that the other party really admired him.
"Of course, when you graduate from Hogwarts, you can apply to any university." Scott said.
"But the teachers thought I was just wasting my time at my current school." Milton said with some embarrassment, "Of course, he didn't know about magic, he didn't know about Hogwarts, and he thought I was attending an unknown boarding school. β
Scott asked again, "Are you going to give up?" The remaining two years at Hogwarts. β
Scott shook his head a little confused, "I don't know. β
He was clearly hesitant.
"Have you ever thought about giving up? That's Hogwarts! Roger was surprised.
Scott understands.
"It's not impossible to give up." He said, "Milton has already participated anyway. LS, you should also be able to get a few certificates. The sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts are the Advanced Classes. β
"But ......"
Roger still couldn't accept this choice.
Scott added, "For Milton, music is more important than magic. And ......"
He paused, his face a little more serious.
"Now the British wizarding world is not at peace, Voldemort and Medea's forces are pulling each other, and the Ministry of Magic has become a lot of chaos. Milton's father, Mr. Grevis, was already caught up in the storm and could be said to have been caught up in the storm. β
He looked at Milton.
"It's probably a better option for you to stay away from the UK at this time."
Milton's face changed, "I didn't think about it...... I didn't think so. β
"I know." "But I think you can think of it that way, and I think it's a good choice." β
Listening to Scott's words, even Roger nodded in agreement.
Milton opened his mouth and finally said, "I think...... And think about it. β
Scott laughed, "Of course, this is just my suggestion, you can make a choice after careful consideration." β
Milton was so entangled that he didn't have the heart to worry about the next day's recital.
"That's right." Scott remembered something else, "Have you invited Professor Flitwick for tomorrow's recital?" β
Whether as the director of Ravenclaw College or as an instructor at a classical music club, it was a meaningful thing to invite Professor Flitwick to come and enjoy the concert.
Milton could also take Professor Flitwick's advice on future options.
"I've written a formal invitation letter to send to Professor Flitwick." "But I don't know if the professor will come." β
Thinking about Professor Flitwick's character, Scott immediately said, "I think he'll come unless he doesn't receive the letter." β
Milton looked at Roger, "The letter was sent to Roger through the Muggle Post Office and forwarded to him. β
Roger said: "I asked the owl at home to deliver the letter after I received it yesterday, and the professor will definitely receive it, so you can wait for the professor's praise tomorrow." β
"It would be nice if the professor could really come." Milton couldn't help but smile.
