The fifth commander of the Human Army, Greer Grayson, was instructed by his advisor Regulus to infiltrate Fort Egina, the home city of the High Elves. Their original mission was to assassinate the Elven King in order to end the war that had lasted for a hundred years, but unfortunately the assassination failed because of some hindrance, but they did not return empty-handed, and the Assassin who escaped was still holding a baby less than three months old. They investigated and learned that the baby was Willam Desman, the newborn son of the Elven King Saurendor Desman, who had lost most of his children in the past hundred years, and now he was left with only two daughters and the newborn son. The royal family of the elves values blood, and this baby is essential to the empire of the high elves. The Assassin who brought back the baby said that he himself didn't know how to steal the child, and that it felt as if someone had given it to him, but in any case it gave the human army a better chance to blackmail the High Elves.
Regulus was still a little reluctant to use babies as bargaining chips, no matter how brutal he was in the sky as the god of war, he would not poison the newborn baby. He suggested that Greer use the baby in order to make peace with the High Elves, and if the High Elves were able to agree to the terms offered by the humans, he would return the baby to them. But today's human army has long since changed its taste, and the goal of mankind is to build a larger empire than the high elf regime, and in the plan, these high elves are also the objects of domination and enslavement, and it is impossible for humans to take the initiative to make peace.
Greer hung the baby on the flagpole of the front-line barracks, causing the Elven King to lose his mind and lead the army into action. The Elven King decided to use the power of black light, which had destroyed countless humans in an instant, and Regulus received information that the mysterious source of power was now in the hands of a high elf scholar named Randolph in Elton City, and the Elven King was urgently ordering Randolph to rush to the front. Taking advantage of the emptiness behind the High Elves, Greer sent elite soldiers to lead Regulus and a small group of men around enemy lines and rush to Elton City to meet the mysterious Randolph Slim again and seize the source of their power. Humanity is now more strategically than before, especially when it comes to tricks, and in many cases, it no longer needs the advice of Regulus, an advisor.
After infiltrating Elton City, Regulus discovers that the Elven King's youngest daughter, Isabella Desman, who is only twenty years old, has also arrived not long ago. The last time I came to Elton City, I went to the Abyss of Zeller to find the Heart of Cen, it was seventy years ago, but it seemed like yesterday to Regulus. He didn't know what happened to Reiner, he had been feeling guilty for breaking Reiner's peaceful life and causing him to lose his wife and children, but he was worried about Reiner's declaration of revenge on the ground, he didn't know when he would rush out of the ground, and fortunately he didn't tell him the way to get out of Zeller's Abyss. Regulus knew that Randolph must be in Selimtari in the very center of Elton City, and he had always felt that Randolph was hiding something from him, and it was time to find out the truth.
"The Elven King's daughter is here, too, and if you capture her again, these pointy-eared monsters will be finished!" spoke Greer's number one general, "Giant Bear" Beo Laver, who has well inherited the idea of human army dominating elves.
"Let's not go too far, just take the source of power and make them surrender. Regulus said.
"You're just an advisor, you can only make suggestions, you can't order us, and you have no say in this operation!" said Hilba Lynch, a skinny boy known for his silent assassinations.
Regulus stopped talking, as the god of war, he was really not used to this kind of humiliation of being restricted, if he was still the former god of war, how could they have the life to say the second word?
They infiltrated the Cerrim Sector, but Randolph seemed to have anticipated their arrival, and as they were about to enter the Celem Tower, the barrier that had previously protected the gates of the Celem Sector was instantly opened at the entrance of the tower, and the warrior who rushed to the head dissipated like dust the moment he touched the barrier.
"Regulus, these people of yours can't get up, only those who have been approved by the royal family can pass through the barrier!" Randolph's voice echoed from the top of the tower.
"Fuck it!, can you smash this tower!" Beo Laver scolded.
"Someone who has been approved by the royal family......" Hilba Lynch thought for a moment, and suddenly his eyes lit up as he looked at the entrance gate on the other side of the Servim district—a silver-haired female elf in emerald armor and a jeweled headband appeared in their field of vision. "That girl is the daughter of the Elven King!!"
Hilba suddenly disappeared from their eyes, using the rocks and grass around the tower to change cover, and finally appeared behind Isabella, pulling out a poisoned dagger tied to his calf, ready to hold her hostage around her neck. Isabella somehow sensed Hilba's presence, she pulled out a silver-plated wooden stick from her back, and didn't look back, but the stick seemed to act on its own, dragging her hand and waving, hitting Hilba's right cheek, sending him flying, spinning twice in the air before landing.
"You...... Are you human, what are you doing here?" said Isabella in a somewhat squeamish voice.
"We're going to use you to enter this tower and turn you into our slave!" Beo Laver shook his head at the soldiers next to him, and the five men rushed towards Isabella and surrounded her.
"I don't want to hurt you, I just want to go up to someone and ask about something. Isabella took the stick and spun in circles as she spoke to the warriors who surrounded her. The warriors swarmed up, but the stick struck quickly, hitting the point with precision each time, and as she swung it, the star-like dots on the stick made several trajectories in the air, like shooting stars, and the crowd fell to the ground in scattered pieces under the attack.
"We also have something I want to ask you about!" Beo Laffer also rushed forward himself, Regulus stood aside and didn't know who to help, although he was an advisor to the human army, but since several elven royal families died mysteriously at his hands, he no longer wanted to have anything to do with the elven royal family, afraid that he would add another life to his hands for no reason.
"Isabella, why are you here?!" Randolph's voice sounded anxious and surprised as he heard from above.
"I have something I'd like to ask you personally. Isabella looked up to the top of the tower, and Beo Laver seized the gap in her distraction and swung her great axe to slash at it, but the next second it disappeared in a black light that fell from the sky.
"Don't ever want to hurt Isabella in front of me!!" Randolph cried.
By now, everyone else had passed out, and Regulus was the only one left. Isabella walked up to him and whispered, "You're the mysterious advisor they legend is, aren't you?" I heard that you were present when several of my brothers died?"
"Are you going to avenge your brothers? You probably won't believe me when I say that: I didn't kill them. Regulus had no intention of attacking Isabella, and his sword was never unsheathed.
"I believe in you. "Actually, I'm going to ask Randolph about something, and I've heard that you've been close to Randolph before, so I'd like to ask you to be a witness." ”
"What do you want me to do?"
"Let's go, let's go up with me first. Isabella said as she thrust the rod back behind her, placing a hand on Regulus's shoulder, and together they crossed the barrier at the mouth of the tower and entered the tower of Serim.
Regulus met Randolph in a black high-backed chair with an old brown book in the same place where Wally had met Mick Desman. When Randolph saw Isabella, he suddenly stood up, knocked Regulus to the side, and put his hand on Isabella's shoulder: "Isabella, are you alright? Have you been hurt by those scum?"
"I'm fine, why did you kill that human with that evil power?" Isabella glared at Randolph.
"I won't allow anyone to hurt you!" Randolph said in a somewhat agitated tone.
"What about my brothers, is it acceptable to hurt them?"
"It's the human next to you who hurt your brothers! I was blinded to him before!"
"Randolph, stop acting, I've already investigated. ”
"You...... What do you say?"
"Aren't you the one who killed my brothers and gave Willam to the humans?" Isabella said in a sad voice, "Why did you become like this, I heard my father tell you a lot about your past deeds before, you are a descendant of the demigod Serim, you should be a hero to the people, are you bewitched by that thing?"
"What...... What, you planted all those things for me?!" Regulus was surprised.
"Yi ...... Isabella, who are you listening to?"
"I can sense malice, so I know where the malice that hangs over the Desman family comes from, and at first I didn't want to believe it, until I saw that you had bewitched the human assassin and handed over Willam for less than three months!
"Isabella, don't be fooled by some people's words, I just received a contact from Lord Desman not long ago, ordering me to bring the black stone to the front line immediately to help in the battle, I will definitely save Willham from the hands of the humans, please believe me!"
"You won't even tell me the truth, how do you want me to trust you?" Isabella shook her head in disappointment, "Hand over your black stone." ”
"Blackstone?" Regulus thought to himself, "Is this the source of the High Elves' power?" and he chose to wait and see.
"This is the key to our defeat of humanity, Lord Desman has ordered me to study it for many years, I can't just give it to you!"
"I heard that it was studied by my third brother Thomas, but he died 'accidentally' during the research, and you did it, right?"
"I don't ......" Randolph had no other words to defend himself than to deny it.
"I believe that it was not the real you who did these things, it was not your intention, you must have been infected by that evil stone, so you better let me throw that thing away as soon as possible. ”
