Chapter 228: The Messenger of Wisdom

Bill doesn't believe it, saying it's completely unbelievable because it's shining all the time, but he doesn't notice that Fred has beetles in his soup. Pen ~ fun ~ pavilion www.biquge.info

Harry looked at the top happily for a moment, it lay there, not at all what Ron had said, and he didn't know if it was broken or because there was no hostility around.

Harry began to unwrap Hedwig's package again.

The package also contains gifts, greeting cards, and envelopes. It was sent by Hermione.

Dear Harry, I have received your letter to me, and I am so saddened by what you have happened that I do not know how to comfort you. Thankfully, it's over, and you'll never have to see the Dursleys again.

This year's birthday is a new beginning, and I believe that you will become happy and happy on your birthday in the future.

Our family is currently on holiday in France, and I almost couldn't find a place to send you a letter, but Hedwig showed up. I'm glad I was able to make it to your birthday, and I think Hedwig must have known that you'd be happy to receive your birthday present and that you need to reward it.

I bought you a gift with an owl order, and I've been following the Daily Prophet for the latest developments in the wizarding world, and I'm so happy with the good fortune of the Rons. Even I'm starting to get a little jealous, the wizards of ancient Egypt are fascinating.

France is also so fascinating here, and if you have the chance, I hope you can see it too. Aside from Hogwarts, apart from Privet Road, the world is so vast and fascinating. I added everything I found in France to my essay on the history of magic, and I hope my teacher will enjoy it too.

Ron told me he was going to London in the last week of the summer, would you go? I asked George, and he was busy again, so I couldn't be sure. Hopefully you'll be able to go too, but we'll always meet on the Hogwarts train on September 1st.

Your loyal friend, Hermione Granger.

Addendum: Ron said that Percy became the president of the student council, and I guess Percy was happy, but Ron wouldn't be too happy to think about it, and he would have said that Percy, a model student, had risen in the family again.

Harry laughed, and Hermione completely guessed Ron's reaction, and Ron really said those words. He put down Hermione's letter and went to pick up the gift Hermione had sent him. The gift was a little heavy, and it looked like a big book full of hard spells, which was Hermione's style.

He guessed wrong, he tore open the thick paper package, his heart beat faster, and he saw a slender black leather box with silver words printed on it: Flying Broomstick Maintenance Kit.

"Wow, Hermione!" Harry smiled happily as he pulled open the necklace of the box and looked at his gift.

Inside the black leather case was a large jar of the perfect flying broomstick polish from the Flitwood brand, a pair of broom shears with silver and sharp silver, a brass compass on a broomstick for long trips, and finally a "Broomstick Care Manual".

Harry was very happy with Hermione's gift, and apart from missing his friends, he looked forward to Quidditch matches the most at Hogwarts.

He's a Quidditch Seeker, and flying is his specialty, whether it's in the cold and freedom of the heights, or leading his friends to victory. These happy and relaxing memories are the medicine for him when he is alone at night.

Harry set the care tool aside and looked at the last package, recognising the crooked handwriting on the vellum, which was Hagrid's note. Tearing open the wrapper, he saw something green.

Before he could fully unpack it, the package began to tremble, and the contents screamed.

Harry immediately wrapped the package as it was, and pressed the thing against his chair before stopping the thing's shrill screaming.

That didn't bode well, Harry had a headache, he knew Hagrid wasn't a bad guy, but he also knew that Hagrid was a big idiot. Hagrid might not have given Harry anything dangerous, but Hagrid's mind wasn't the same as normal's.

For Hagrid, sending his friends into the lair of man-eating spiders is definitely not a dangerous thing to do. As for the reaction of my friend after being eaten, no one knows.

Harry reached for Hagrid's card, wondering what it was up to.

Dear Harry: Happy birthday to you, this thing will come in handy next year, that's all, meet and talk.

I hope Muggles are all good to you.

May all the best, Hagrid.

It didn't bode well, Hagrid thought it was useful, and Harry had to worry about it. However, he quickly let go of his worries, as long as he arrived at the academy, there would be nothing dangerous. It's not for sure, but with your friends, things don't get bad.

All that was left was a letter from Hogwarts, and Harry opened the letter that was thicker than usual, pulled out the parchment inside, and began to read it.

Dear Mr. Potter, please catch the Express train to Hogwarts at King's Cross Station on September 1st.

During certain weeks, third-year students are allowed to visit Hogsmeade as required by a consent form signed by your parent or guardian.

Also attached is the New Year Book List, your loyal Vice-Chancellor, Professor McGonagall.

It would be nice to visit Hogsmeade for the weekend, and Harry knew it was a completely magical village. You know, in addition to Hogwarts, he has also been to Ron's house in Burrow.

George seemed to have the idea of inviting him to his house, but he was too busy to make a formal invitation, and Harry was too embarrassed to ask for a visit.

As he thought of this, a large crow flew in through the window and landed on Harry's bed. Without Harry having to do it himself, he unwrapped the package by gently pecking at a few buttons on his feet with his beak.

Although it looks like a large crow with a pitch-black body, it is actually not a crow, but a rare raven. It was a pet that George had deliberately bred and, as its name suggests, was a messenger.

"Happy birthday! Harry Potter!" a rough, hoarse voice came from the raven's mouth.

Harry was stunned for a moment, then immediately thanked him, "Thank you, Courier!"

The raven nodded again, cooed a few times, and then spread its pitch-black wings and flew out of the window, blending into the boundless night sky.

Harry silently watched the messenger go away, and every time he saw George's messenger, he couldn't help but be startled. The Messenger was far more intelligent than he could have imagined. Harry didn't expect it to be able to speak, though it seemed to prefer its own language, usually cooing.

The courier melted into the night sky, and Harry didn't think much of it, and unwrapped the package George had given him expectantly.
