Therefore, monotheistic religions always like to force mortals into a situation where they have no choice, such as a catastrophe, taking everything from people, even the right to dominate their own lives, and in desperation, they can only believe in gods and be religious. Once there is a choice, the mortal has flexible standards and begins to trade with the immortals.
Although he was ignorant, Tang Seng had to continue, because he knew that if he didn't seek the true scriptures, then the people of the Tang Dynasty would always remain in this state of uncertainty and would not make the slightest progress. Isn't it because mortals don't understand the true meaning of the Dharma that they are afraid to retreat? I won't stop, I have to learn from it.
