My goal in life was to kill my father, but when I was confronted with his corpse, I lost my bearings. Pen % fun % Pavilion www.biquge.info
My name is Dave Snow. Snow), a member of the Captain of the Royal Guard of Oden, Cloud· Snow).
I was born in the southern city of Auden, one of the few cities in Oden that is not covered in snow all year round, and it is the warmest place in Oden, but my surname is the opposite of the warmth of the city. Later, I learned from the people I came into contact with who knew the ancient language that my surname "Snow" means snow.
I never had a father in my childhood, because he didn't know about my son until my mother died. My mother may have been just one of the countless women he had met over the years, and perhaps he had never really loved my mother. He disappeared from my life after leaving my seed to my mother, who raised me alone in Genna. From the stories my mother told me, I learned about my father, who was the strongest man in the kingdom and the object of adoration and aspiration that all women would admire. My mother said that she never regretted falling in love with my father, and that she had no complaints about him leaving us mother and son, but I didn't think so. Seeing my mother working day and night to make ends meet, seeing my mother's grievances when others called me a "mongrel" but not being able to do anything, and seeing my mother often secretly wash her face with tears in the middle of the night after I went to sleep, I swore that I would make the man pay.
When I was 10 years old, my mother fell seriously ill and died soon after because there was no cure. When she was dying, she asked me to go to my father, and she gave me a letter to give to him when I saw him, and she believed that he would take good care of me when he learned the truth. I said yes and said I would go to my father, but I didn't tell my mother my real intentions in finding him - I was going to kill him and make him pay for the sins we had suffered all these years!
After my mother's death, my hatred for my father supported me to leave my hometown and go all the way north. In order not to starve to death, I worked in various taverns and farms along the way. During my winter stay in the central city of Oden, I became acquainted with a skilled blacksmith, an old man in his seventies named Brad. I learned a lot of the craft from him while I was working as an assistant, and with one goal in mind, I soon learned how to make leather armor with studs and the initial polishing of weapons. I've always heard that the elves have the best craftsmanship in the world, but in my opinion, who haven't seen the elven technology with my own eyes, Brad's craftsmanship is by no means inferior to theirs.
After leaving the Winter Station, I heard about my father. I learned that he was not now the captain of his guard in Winter Rin, but was alone outside on personal affairs, and I heard that he was looking for someone, and he was now in Furrow, not far from Winter Station. So I grabbed the axe I had gotten from Brad and hurried to Frow, where I could finally avenge my mother.
I had imagined my father countless times in my mind, how I could kill him, and I had thought of countless possible scenarios when I decided to seek revenge on him, but when he did appear to me, I found that all my preparation and determination had become vulnerable.
"Kid, are you lost, where do you live, I'll take you to your mother!" he looked harmless, pretending to help me, but what he said reminded me that he was the one who killed my mother. I swung the axe, which was a little heavy for me as a young man, and rushed towards him, telling myself that I would kill him.
When I rushed in front of him, he just stretched out a hand and caught the axe I threw at him, his palm facing the blade, but there was not a single scar on his hand. He took the axe and glared down at me, and I felt a cold aura from him, and I knew that he was much, much stronger than me.
"Kid, this isn't something to throw around, what the hell do you want to do?"
"I'm going to kill you!" I shouted at him, tilting my head.
"Kill me?" A smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and that smile seemed to me to be a kind of disdain, a sneer, and a shame for me, "You should go back and practice for decades and come back to me!" As he was leaving, I could vaguely hear him whispering to himself, "It doesn't look like this kid...... Son of God of the Goddess of Love......"
In the year that followed, I attacked him several times, but not a single one could hurt him, let alone kill him.
"You little ghost, you've been haunting me all this year, what have I done to make you have such a deep hatred for me?" he finally asked me a question when I attacked him for the fourth time on the outskirts of Winter Rin.
"When I kill you, I will tell you the truth before you die!" Although I knelt in front of him again, I still threw this sentence at him viciously, and I vowed to look into his eyes at the last moment of his life and tell him the truth that I am his son, let him die slowly in remorse, and I will watch the light in his eyes fade away, and complete my revenge.
"You three-legged cat work, even if I die of old age, you can't hurt me, you better tell me as soon as possible!" he sneered and threw my axe back to the ground, I picked up the axe and got up from the ground and rushed towards him again, he still didn't move half a step, when I held the axe in both hands and slashed at his right hand, he raised his hand easily and said, "Your attack is all useless," he slapped my hand on the back, and I fell to the ground again.
"Damn!" I got up and threw the axe behind me, and unsurprisingly he took it easily, and as he handed it back to me, he said, "Don't just throw your only weapon away, you're killing yourself." ”
At this point, I realized that he was teasing me and teaching me how to fight, "You're going to regret it sooner or later!" I wondered what his expression would be when he saw me kill him with the fighting techniques he taught me. I slashed at his head the moment I took the axe he handed me, but he just dodged my attack by leaning back casually, and he put a finger on the back of my hand holding the axe, and I felt my palm go numb, and the axe came out of my hand. He took my dropped axe and smiled, "Remember to hold on to your weapon!"
"Hello!" I said as I snatched my axe, but this time he didn't give it back to me, but dangled it in front of me, just not letting me reach it.
"Don't make unnecessary challenges, and don't think that the enemy will be merciful to you. He said as he threw the axe into the distance, "You better forget it today, I still have something to do, let's go first!" he said and walked in the direction of Whispering Bay in Winter Rin, apparently to sail by boat.
I later learned that he had gone to Cardo that day and found a girl there.
I didn't know who that girl was and why he was looking for her, but I had seen her take her into the castle of Winter's City, he sailed with her on a boat, and I saw him teach her how to fight on the school grounds...... Whenever he was with the girl, I didn't show up, but hid and watched silently, and when I watched him look at the girl's eyes, I saw the fatherly love that I didn't have. Why was that girl able to get what I couldn't get from him, why did he have a completely different attitude towards that girl than he did towards me? I was his child...... Seeing the two of them talking and laughing, my hatred came back to my heart.
He wasn't with the girl every day, and every once in a while he had to send her back, and every then I attacked him again in order to achieve my goal of killing him. It's been three years, and I still haven't been able to leave a single scar on him.
"Little ghost, you've grown a little bit over the years, but you're still far from killing me!" he smiled and used a wooden sword against the axe in my hand, and it was clear that what he had in his hand was just a piece of wood, but I was forced to retreat again and again.
"Don't be too complacent!" I stopped his swing with my hand axe in my left hand, and with my right hand pulled out a dagger from behind the leather armor and slashed it at his face.
"Oh, I'm careless, I actually hurt you!" he jerked his elbow, and the dagger in my hand flew out, and as I was attracted by the dagger, my hand holding the axe relaxed a little, and he pressed the axe down, and then struck the wooden sword on my forehead, which immediately made my head get a bag.
"Damn!" I felt like I had lost my center of gravity, and I sat on the ground with my butt and axe too lazy to bother with the bag on my head.
"You still have to practice!" he carried the wooden sword on his shoulder, looked at me sitting on the ground and smiled, "I know a little girl about your age, do you want to get to know each other?"
"Verbosity, do you want me to kill her together?" As soon as I finished speaking, I felt him release a murderous aura, only to see his eyes wide at me, and his voice warned like an echo: "Never hurt half a hair of her!"
I was so frightened by his sudden change that I crawled back a few steps on the ground, but it didn't take long for him to return to his normal form and squeeze out a smile at me, but the smile seemed to me to be the murderous look I had just had. He smiled at me and said, "I'm going to go to the north for a few days, so don't come to me these days!" I learned what happened to him when he went to the north six years later, but that's a story for later.
