Chapter 40: Tyne
At this critical time, Tyne saw Mark and Maria coming, and his face was overjoyed:
"Kill them together!"
Maria soon took one from Tyne, and Mark sent another guard back with a large fireball. Tyne www.biquge.info took advantage of the opportunity to slash down with a heavy sword, splitting one of the guards diagonally from his shoulder in half.
Then he began to deal with the other guard, and the guard who was hit by Mark's demonic flames was still fighting relentlessly, although the black flames had spread all over his body, but soon his feet fell to the ground, and his combat strength was greatly reduced.
Seeing that the victory was decided, a strange scene appeared, and the corpses of the guards on the ground who had been split in half by Tyne's sword began to connect automatically, and soon a lively guard stood up again.
Seeing this scene, Mark's face tightened: "It's too late! Hurry up and break out first!"
Saying that, he had a fireball trick right in the middle of Maria's guards, and pulled Maria up and was about to run out of the door, but Tyne, who had been behind the two of them, was faster, and flashed out of the gate with a false move.
As soon as Tyne exited the gate, the two guards he was dealing with stopped and turned to look at Mark and Maria.
"Let's go!" Mark pushed Maria, pulling out five or six pieces of rune paper in his hand. One by one, they waved at them.
The successive rune attacks knocked the two guards backwards, and Maria dodged out of the gate quickly, revealing a small face and looking back.
This glance made her look change: "Brother be careful behind you!"
Mark didn't have time to look, so he didn't hesitate to flash to the side, and then a long sword slashed at the place before him. Then the sword spun and continued to slash at him.
"Damn!" Mark quickly rolled again, out of the range of the long sword.
Fortunately, the limbs of these guards were a little stiff, and their reflexes were not fast enough, otherwise Mark would not have been able to hide. Just as Mark was secretly rejoicing, two other swords had already slashed at him.
"Brother-" Maria rushed in from outside the door, desperately helping him block the two swords beside him, but where could she stop the initial strength of her strong warrior?
Dense footsteps in the distance were getting closer, and it was clear that Viscount Hobby had noticed that they were missing and were heading this way.
"Maria, let's go!" Mark was shocked, with only the last two powerful runes left in his hand, and he quickly urged one to send it out to the guard behind him.
A light blue ice arrow instantly hit the guards who were attacking Mark, directly freezing him into an ice sculpture, and it seemed that it would be difficult to recover in a short time.
The other rune paper continued to be urged by Mark, and an earth giant more than three people tall suddenly appeared on the ground, stopping in front of Maria and Mark. Stand aside the two guards.
Fortunately, the last guard had been burned to half-crippled by demonic flames, otherwise this time it would really be difficult to be spared! Mark exhaled happily, his eyes suddenly froze, and at the entrance of the corridor in the distance, a gray figure was rushing towards this direction quickly.
"Viscount Hobby!" Mark was frightened, and quickly picked up Maria and flashed to the gate.
The speed of the Qi Warrior was much faster than Mark had imagined, and as soon as his heel left the range of the gate, he heard a loud "bang-" sound, and the earth giant was destroyed in an instant.
"Whew-"
Inside the hidden gate, Hobie's inhuman screams sounded, Mark helped Maria, and the two of them trembled together, and said secretly: This is a dead death!
But after waiting for a long time, they didn't see Hobie come out, and when they looked back, the two of them suddenly breathed a sigh of relief, maybe once they got out of this gate, Hobie would not be able to pursue.
It was only then that Mark remembered to treat Maria's wounds and take a secondary healing potion. After some simple treatment, the wound was finally healed.
"Brother, it's just the two of us now. Maria pulled Mark's robe as usual, glaring at her big pure eyes.
"No! there's a Tyne!" Mark's eyes narrowed, "He shouldn't know that Hobie can't catch up, so he must run as hard as he can, let's be careful, don't be calculated by him!"
"Brother, shall we move on?"
"Yes, let's move on!"
Makla took Maria's hand and cast the illumination, and the two of them moved on.
"Brother, I'm a little scared!" Maria's palms were sweaty.
"Don't be afraid, my brother promised you that he would definitely take you out!"
Mark frowned, his right hand resting on his chin. Eyes full of wariness looked around.
After exiting Hobie Castle, it quickly turns into a sheep's gut path again. The black fog on both sides of the road is gone, replaced by dense forests.
They hadn't gone far before Mark and Maria came to a fork in the road. The sign on the road shows that the misty swamp continues ahead, and the town of Taiping leads from another road to the side and back. It seems that Dengman and the others will also arrive here if they get out of Taiping Town safely.
Mark looked up in the direction of Taiping Town in the darkness, shook his head, and pulled Maria onto the path of the misty swamp without hesitation. Hobie Castle is already so thrilling, then Taiping Town must be dead!
It's a long road, and there are almost no footprints along the way, so how many people will be able to pass through Hobie Castle and Taiping Town safely?
To Mark's surprise, Tyne should have been ahead of them, but there was no sign of him along the way.
I don't know how long I walked, but suddenly a white patch appeared in front of me, and Mark understood that the misty swamp had arrived.
"You're slow enough!" Tyne's familiar voice came from behind him.
Mark turned around, looked at Tyne vigilantly, noticed the compass of fate in his hand, and suddenly said, "If I'm not mistaken, Satan should have been killed by you!"
"Oh, it looks like you've been to that hollow too," Tyne grinned, "yes, but what makes me wonder is how you got the hint from a dead man?"
Mark was expressionless and noncommittal, watching Tyne come over, he pulled Maria back slowly, with Maria's injury, coupled with the strength of a mere wizard apprentice, he was by no means the opponent of Tyne today.
"I've been under Byren for so many years, just for this compass of fate! hehe, and now I've finally got my hands on it! but—"
Tyne stopped at this point, and Mark noticed that if he retreated any further, he would retreat into the misty swamp, and the white mist behind him was like a monstrous beast, waiting for Mark to enter.
"But what?" Mark gripped Maria's hand tightly, determined that if Tyne took one step further, he would pull Maria into the Misty Swamp.
"But the compass of destiny in my hand doesn't point in any direction, but at a person!" Tyne stared at Mark with burning eyes, "That person is you!"
"Me?" Mark paused, "Why?"
"The Compass of Fate can't be wrong! So-only you can take me out of this hellish place. Mark, as long as you take me away, I can give you all the things on me except this compass......"
Tyne's face was full of excitement, as he had been when he first came into contact with Mark, so poised and trustworthy!
"I'm sorry! I can't believe you!" said Mark, who dragged Maria into the white mist without hesitation, and disappeared in front of Tyne in the blink of an eye.
