Chapter 5: The Priest Angelo
The afternoon class is a religious study, which is actually just a normal recitation of the scriptures, under the teaching of the priests of the Salvation Society, to understand the meaning of each scripture, and to learn how to become a dutiful lord and a good believer.
In order to test whether this was the case last night, Bird took a hasty rest at noon and walked straight to the dirt mound.
The mound of dirt was not carried away, perhaps because the man did not dare, or perhaps Bois paid the man.
Bird wanted to see if all these jumble pebbles could be converted into energy and absorbed by the aperture. Around the mound of dirt stood three guards, and two attendants, six men at a time, who followed Bird and watched all the way.
The three guards pretended not to see Bird and did not salute him. Bird estimates that the new tax terms he promised yesterday have aroused the resentment of everyone, and his reputation is estimated to have reached the final bottom line of cold talks.
There are a lot of small pebbles and crushed stones mixed in the mound, but they are all unformed scraps. Bird crouched down and picked out a few of them, without any hints.
Bird directly picked up the mound of dirt, and picked out a few more stones with different textures and colors, still without any reminder.
Is it because of the size of the stone? Bird estimated the size of the stone brick last night, and touched it towards a stone, but there was still no movement.
Bird picked left and right, as if he were holding a-stirring stick, and picked the dirt mound alive.
All the useless stones were picked out by Bird one by one and thrown to the other side.
"Priest Angelo" came from a volley not far away, and Bird looked up.
The priest Angelo, who had given himself a lesson, had already crossed the guard and was staring at him, walking towards him.
Bird quickly stood up, and when he saw him approaching, he hurriedly called out to "Priest Angelo".
The Salvation Society has a clear rule that when encountering clergy with clergy, you need to stop what you are doing. Moreover, when addressing them, they need to be addressed by name with their faculty position.
Priest Angelo was a young man, similar to the knight apprentice Jack who had taught Bird before, and probably of comparable strength.
"Bird, what are you doing?" Angelo was five or six years older than Bird, but he was a friend, so he often called each other by their first names.
"Get the stones out," Bird said, tossing aside some of the stones he had in his hand.
"Bird, what do you want these pebbles for?"
Angelo stood in front of Bird, the two of them very close, and he stared into Bird's eyes and asked carefully.
Angelo's pupils are beautiful, the kind that makes people can't help but let down their vigilance. The facial features are very deep, the bridge of the nose is very high, but it is a pity that it is black hair, and it is black hair with curls. If it was golden, it might not be the same as the Norse race that Bird had encountered in his previous life.
"When it rains, some of the places in the palace that have not been covered with stone bricks will become extremely muddy and easy for people to fall, so I am going to use some stones to pave the road so that I can walk and not easily get wet and dirty clothes"
"If you use dirt, you can also fill some potholes in the upper hall, especially the training ground, which has not been repaired for a long time."
Bird looked naïve, as if these things were the main reason why Bird called for Boys to send turquoise.
The things that had been thought of before the arrival of the priest Angelo were like illusory bubbles, as if they had never existed.
Angelo stared at Bird for a long time, as if he wanted to see through Bird, wondering if he was telling the truth. However, Bird seemed to be unable to resist the urge to take out all the stones, and always looked eager to try.
'Bird is still a child, all he does is follow his heart' 'Do you think he's still a child?'
Angelo's heart kept thinking, like a bald head with hair that suddenly rose wildly, at first he was happy and then he was afraid, cut off one, and found that there was another handful, and after cutting a handful, he found that another bunch appeared, endlessly.
Angelo suddenly raised the corners of his mouth and pulled out a large arc.
smiled and said, "Bird really learned something, these things I taught you, you really remembered, did not forget." After saying that, he also touched Bird's head.
Bird, of course, laughed as well.
"Okay, there are attendants to help you with these things, let's go to the room, and teach you a new chapter of "The General Theory of Salvation" today," he said, and directly slid his hand down from Bird's head and along his neck, slid it to his shoulder, and turned it into a push, pushing Bird in another direction, and Bird's refusal.
Of course, Bird will not refuse.
An afternoon of religious lessons is nothing more than reading, memorization, and analysis. It's a bit like the taste of the lord's job training, but one of the core concepts in this training is the supremacy of the Salvation Society, and everything comes from the gift of the Lord, including the position of Lord of Bird.
The dinner they had together was much better in terms of variety and variety than when Bird was alone. By the time Bird personally saw Angelo farewell, it was almost sunset.
Bird walked back with a tired face.
A morning of physical training, an afternoon of brainwashing activities, undoubtedly from the physical to the mental, from the outside to the inside of the double grinding, plus last night did not sleep for a few hours at all, Bird's whole body was shrunk into a ball.
Bird happened to pass by the 'mound of dirt' before, no, it's the real mound now. The stones and the earth were completely separated into two piles, without the slightest intermingling with each other.
Bird has a bit of mixed tastes, and the words of a lord of his own are not as useful as those of a priest who has come to teach and preach.
Bird stood in front of the pile of rocks and picked up a few more stones that he hadn't touched before, again without any hint.
Touch them one by one.
Disappointment, today is simply unlucky.
"Do you use these stones and piles of mud as I said to Angelo."
With that, Bird walked straight into the house.
A young guard spat in the direction where Bird had disappeared, and quickly said several 'phew'.
"This guy really thinks he's a lord" "That's it!" "Yes......
"Don't talk about it, since the priests of Angelo have agreed to this matter, then let's do it, remember to do it," one of the older guards saw that someone was scolding him, and hurriedly stopped him.
