Chapter 43: Entering the Passage
Chapter 43 Entering the Passage
"This does not bode well. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć Info" Ron muttered quietly, the three of them just went out and ran into a bunch of trouble, and I am afraid that things will not go smoothly in the future.
"It's already on the line, and it's too late to say that. George frowned, now that he had decided to act, now was not the time to be discouraged.
The four of them calmed down for a while, and carefully pushed open the door that closed the three-headed dog Luwei, the old wooden door, made a creaking sound, and then there was a low barking in everyone's ears. The three-headed dog, named Louwey, was sniffing and probing in their direction.
"There's a harp at its feet. Hermione immediately became nervous again, pinching the corner of her clothes and whispering a reminder.
"Snape has already come, he passed through here, leaving the harp. Harry's mind raced, and he immediately thought of the cause and effect.
"Harry, don't delay, play the flute, and wait for me to be the first to go down. George didn't like dogs, especially those of this large one, and he was a little worried that he couldn't help but curse Harry, urging Harry to do it.
Listening to George's somewhat impatient tone, Harry immediately came back to his senses, he didn't dare to think about who was more powerful George or Lowe, and immediately played the flute without stopping.
The flute sounds out of tune, and it's a little unpleasant, but Lu Wei eats it. As soon as Harry's flute came out, Lu Wei's six eyes drooped and slowly closed, Harry didn't dare to breathe, and slowly, the barking of the dog stopped.
"Plop" It shook its head a few times, its feet went limp, and it fell to the floor, falling into a deep sleep.
"Keep playing the flute and don't stop for a moment. George looked back at Harry, and added an armor amulet to each of them. He had the heart to add another binding spell to the three-headed dog, but he was afraid that he would be resisted by the magic of the three-headed dog, and even provoke resistance. After a pause, he strode towards the trapdoor.
George opened the trapdoor, looked in, then turned his head and told the three of them, "There's a slide inside, it's so deep you can't see anything. I'll be the first to go down, and when I'm safely on the ground, I'll signal you to come down. ā
George's gaze jumped to the three of Harry, and then said, "Wait for me to signal, Ron will come down next, then Hermione, don't stop Harry's flute, you will be the last to come down." ā
Ron nodded, and made his way to the entrance of the cave, watching George slide down the hole. He stared, motionless, staring at the entrance of the cave, unable to see anything even though it was pitch black inside.
After a few moments, he saw a light coming out of the hole, and George's voice came, "Safe, Ron followed, then Hermione, and finally Harry, don't bother, I'll catch you." ā
Ron turned his head and motioned to Hermione and Harry, "George has made sure it's safe down there, and Hermione will follow after I go down, and then Harry, both faster." With that, Ron didn't wait for anything else and slid down the hole.
Ron went, and Hermione followed, feeling the hole and slipping down. Finally, Harry, was the only one left. He didn't dare to stop the flute in his mouth, and jumped into the slide with the flute in his mouth.
Ron slid down the chute, the cold, damp wind blowing in his ears and giving goosebumps all over his body. The whole person was a whirling weightlessness, which reminded him of being taught by George in training, and then, like that time, "Plop!" There was a dull thud as he landed on all fours, and a thought flashed through his mind, "The floor is much softer than the training ground." ā
Before Ron could stand up, a soft object from behind him pressed hard against him, "Oh!" he let out a moan.
Hermione was a little nervous, and she was lined up behind Ron. Seeing that Ron had already jumped off the slide, thinking that it was her turn, she didn't dare to delay, and then slid down. As soon as she landed, she seemed to be pressed against something, and then a big hand helped her up.
"Alright, don't stand at the entrance of the cave, Harry will be coming down right now. George pulled Hermione away and let Ron get up on his own.
"It's a difference!" Ron was used as Hermione's mat for a moment, then got up and immediately began to complain.
Then Harry came down, and when he landed at the hole, he heard a loud bark behind him, and the three-headed dog woke up so quickly.
Harry sat on the ground and touched the soft ground, which felt like some kind of plant, "What is this?"
"Harry, don't sit on the ground, it's the devil's net. Seeing that everyone had landed safely, George waved his wand, and an orange-red flame appeared from the wand like the morning sun.
Through the light, everyone realized that before they knew it, their feet and even their bodies were already wrapped with vines of different thicknesses.
"How could there be such a thing!" Hermione screamed, her face pale.
Thick and numerous vines, like pythons, lurked beside them. It wasn't until George summoned the flames that these terrifying pythons squirmed like a tide under the stimulation of light and warmth, and this strange scene made the hearts of the three children feel cold.
"Devil's Net likes humidity and darkness, and is afraid of light and heat. It's not a ferocious method, the devil's net likes to tie people up, and it's more used to capture people alive than to kill them directly!"
George's words were calm and unwavering, but the breath in his voice was like the wind blowing in the chute, making the three children chill all over their bodies. It is only at this time that they really think about it, and only then do they really realize what kind of fear and danger real adventure in reality represents.
The orange-red flame danced carefully, like a small sun, and under the light was George's calm and resolute face, slashed with a knife and axe, like a statue.
Three small figures, looking at each other, seeing the tacit understanding in each other's eyes, each other's reliable figures, the picture freezes for a while, like an ancient picture scroll.
"We'll get the Philosopher's Stone and defeat Voldemort!" Harry's eyes flashed with flames, he implicated his friend, he had no way back, he would win, and he had to win.
"We've uncovered Snape's plot, we've uncovered the mysteries' schemes, we've beaten the three-headed dog, and we've defeated the devil's net. Little by little, Hermione enumerated the victories they had won over this period of time to boost their confidence.
"We're going to save the school, we're going to save everybody. "Ron is not lacking in heroism, either.
"Then get on!" Harry's momentum also infected George.
George in front, Harry, Hermione in the center, and Ron behind, the four of them walked slowly down the only stone corridor, head to end.
