In front of us, is the statue of this emerald flower girl, the statue is made of a whole piece of white marble, three meters high, standing in front of the main building of this tulip park, after several decades, it is still white and flawless as the first time I saw the world. This girl wears a tropical sarong, carries a bamboo basket on her arm, and her face is really beautiful, like a Chinese, with gentle eyes, but more contoured than the average Chinese, with a high nose and high eyebrows.

Ji Ran and I traveled to this tropical island, this tulip park is known as a must-see attraction for tourists, and this emerald flower girl is the patron saint of the park, and the locals call her the goddess of flowers.

But the Chinese were still second-class citizens here, and the island was under the jurisdiction of the Dutch colonial government. The Dutch, like all Caucasians at that time, were full of disgust and fear of the Chinese, and the construction of the island had to rely on the Chinese, but they did not want the Chinese to be civilized people with ideas and culture, but only wanted them to exist as cheap labor. The Chinese are discriminated against by the Dutch on this island, and while holding more than 80% of the wealth, they enjoy almost zero respect, and even their place of residence is enclosed in a special area, which is called, China town, Chinatown.
