Volume VII Summary

The seventh volume is finished.

It seems that only ten days have passed since the conclusion of the sixth volume.

Don't be surprised, this volume is originally very short, the story of Zhou Jinru's journey.

The tone of the overall content is in line with my expectations, this volume of tens of thousands of words belongs to the travelogue, I originally thought that I could not control this style, but the actual situation is much better.

We all know what a travelogue is, recording what we saw and heard during the journey, but the seventh volume is not a simple travelogue, from the beginning to the end, closely linked to a main line, Zhou Jinru is looking for the way back, and at the same time, it is also the dark line of the whole volume, going home.

Go home.

It's a beautiful word for everyone, it's hard to have a home that you can't go back to, and you have no home to go back to.

On the surface, from Zhou Jinru meeting Abu, entering Pingpan, and then meeting Suyu, sleepwalking in Wonderland, getting to know beeswax, and finally encountering thorns and embarking on the way home.

But the kernel has only two words, go home.

Abu brought letters and objects from the big city back to Pingpan, and he went home, and the letters were home, and the things were home;

Su Yu was guided by vague memories and returned to Pingpan, she was looking for a home, but Oia No. 4, that is, home, was gone, and finally, she found Zhou Jinru and went home.

Alice gave the key according to the promise of the year, and she fulfilled the promise once and sent something home.

Beeswax, on the other hand, comes out of the house and embarks on a journey to find her sister, staying in the first half of the journey.

Finally, there is Thorn, he came out on vacation, but for him, vacation and work are basically inseparable, and after getting the signed CD of the band Passing Sunset, he also embarked on the way home with Zhou Jinru.

What is home, a place where people can feel stable, a haven against all storms.

In the process of unfolding the plot, there is basically no description of what Zhou Jinru sees, and there are more perspectives of Suyu, Alice and beeswax, because Zhou Jinru just wants to go home, his journey has long ended, and the rest is torment, and the journey of the next three girls is not over yet, they still have the energy to observe and appreciate.

Finally, there is Eckert Henry, a character who lives only on paper, and all images are dictated through others, written depictions, and traces left by him.

In Su Yu's eyes, he is a child, a child brought from childhood to adulthood; In Marcus's eyes, he was an old man with an eccentric temper; In the eyes of the children he adopted, he was a stubborn old man; In his own letter, he is a left-behind man waiting for his family to return.

He couldn't wait for the person he was waiting for, but in the end, he waited for the person he was reading.

So at the time of writing this paragraph, the mood of the whole story has been walking downward, and when Suyu stood in front of the tombstone and cried, all the accumulated emotions were exploded, but from the creator's point of view, a low ending was not for us, so there was the following scene.

Henry's thoughts and thoughts are passed on, a new photo replaces the old one, his adopted child inherits his business and continues it, and at this time, the tone of the story begins to rise, Su Yu's mood returns, and her smile shows that the wounds in her heart are healed.

The journey begins before it starts and ends before it ends.

The story ends here, just right.

……

This volume is relatively bland, with no ups and downs, no treacherous and cunning characters, just some people living in the land of Terra, which is also the norm in the civilized world.

To be honest, I'm satisfied.

Then, we're going to move on to the next volume.

A little more lighthearted plot.
