"Interstellar Pharmacist" is on the shelves today!
First of all, thank you for your support~
Here, BB has a few words about youkai that I want to chatter~
Monsters and monsters, in fact, are divided into details: demons, spirits, ghosts, and monsters. All four categories are covered in this book.
In fact, China's monster culture has a long history, but in the eyes of many people, monsters seem to be just a representative of superstition, but it is not.
First of all, in many ancient Chinese writings, there are records about monsters.
From the long-lost "Bai Zetu"; to the Warring States Period, known as the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", known as the "ancestor of ancient and modern strange words"; and then to the immortal pinnacle of Chinese Zhiwei literature "Sou Shen Ji" born during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties; There are also well-known milestone works, such as the Qing Dynasty Zhiwei novel "Strange Tales from Liao Zhai" and so on.
These writings are enough to prove that China's Youwei literary dialect has been stretched for thousands of years and is a cultural symbol and important representative of our country.
Secondly, monster culture is not only a representative of Chinese culture, but also a precious crystallization of the wisdom, life, customs, culture and thinking of the ancient Chinese people.
Throughout the world, there is hardly any country like China, which has such an exaggerated and specific imagination, emerged such a specific and detailed and diverse image of monsters, and formed a monster culture, and also mapped it into a life phenomenon and way of thinking.
However, it is a pity that since the Republic of China, due to various complex reasons, China's monster culture has begun to fall into a trough, until now, many people's understanding of monster culture is limited to superstitious legends.
One of the original intentions of "Interstellar Pharmacist" is to make a modest contribution to the spread of Chinese monster culture.
Most of the monsters involved in this book are recorded in ancient books, but it is not excluded that BB made up for the needs of the plot, which is only a very few.
In the free chapters, most of the monsters involved, demons account for the vast majority, and a small amount involves spirits, ghosts and monsters, and in the subsequent VIP chapters, the proportion of the latter three categories will gradually increase, depending on the needs of the plot.
However, BB privately wants to dedicate a section to writing about ghosts, which should be interesting. But don't get me wrong, it's not a scary ghost story!
Finally, how to say it, I hope everyone will like it~
Finally, the last cheeky begging for a subscription!!
After all, I still have to buy dog food for the dog~
