Alas~
Although I was prepared, I still didn't know where to start when it came to the day it was put on the shelves.
I feel a lot.
Let me share with you the journey of my creative career in the past year.
In July last year, Zuo graduated from an ordinary undergraduate college and studied...
Well, that's right, Chemical Engineering & Technology!
233333333
Seriously, not to mention then, even now, I feel that all this is very unreal, like a dream.
I have been in college for four years, and I basically take a beaker and a test tube every day to configure the engineering G of chemical materials, and one day, I became the author of an online novel!
- Write history!
What is this wave called?
Off the beaten track!
Deviate from the original spectrum!!
But then again, when you think about it, it's not too abrupt or unforeseen.
When I was in college, there was a course that impressed me very much, called organic chemistry.
I can't remember exactly what it did, but I remember one thing very clearly: element A plus element B and element C were mixed together and boiled in a flask.
It's three hours! (That's why I'm so impressed with this class)
For three hours, you can't sit or walk, you have to stay by the test bench.
It's boring, I have to do something to polish my time.
Watch a small video, there is sound, and the teacher will find that the same goes for movies and games.
Naturally, I started to fish and read novels while I was boiling organic matter.
That is, the first online novel I read: "I want to be the emperor" by Jing Ke
A copy of "I Want to Be an Emperor", I don't know how many times I turned it over, but I remember it very clearly, I used the red envelope I grabbed from the QQ group, and I read it chapter by chapter.
Every time I grab a red envelope in those inexplicable groups, I click on "I want to be an emperor" as soon as possible, see how many I can look at later, and have fun with it, so as to spend that somewhat boring college time.
By last year, that is, in 2020, everyone knew that the epidemic broke out, and the last semester of my senior year could only be spent at home.
The university course has ended, the graduation thesis has been written early, and I can't go out to find a job or internship, what can I do?
Reading.
Watch "I Want to Be an Emperor", watch "I Want to Be a Gate Valve", and then don't work, watch "The Emperor of the Great Song Dynasty", anyway, I just read all the books I want to leave.
No, one is that home life is too boring, and the other is that I like books too much.
In this way, until May, when the defense was successfully completed and my university life was coming to an end, a problem that most college students would encounter was placed in front of me.
INTERVIEWER What do you do after graduation?
The right professional?
The chemical industry can only evolve into a factory, which is boring, boring, and has no future.
Interdisciplinary?
I can only do experiments, and if I look for a job in other areas, I can only sell insurance, and when I sell, I am withdrawn, I don't like to talk, and I am deeply afraid of society.
Of course, the most critical point is that the epidemic is not over, and you can't go out.
I can't go out, I'm bored, and I've finished reading the book I'm leaving, what should I do?
"I don't have to read it, why don't you write one?"
In this way, a bold idea came to my mind and became the "Young Emperor Growth Plan" seen by old readers.
Master Mo Yan once said: Literary creation begins with imitation and copying.
I'm no exception.
And what I imitate is naturally the only god in my heart: to leave the thorn and thorn.
I don't know if I really learned a lot from Yaoli, and I wrote the "Young Emperor Growth Plan" while I was bored, and I got a good result with great abnormality!
When the matter of "writing online articles can also make money" really became a reality in me, my mentality also quietly changed.
"Otherwise, I'll do this later."
"I make a lot of money, and it's very promising."
"Even if you don't get famous, it's better than going out to work, whispering in front of your boss, and letting people call and go."
In this way, I became a full-time online writer rather abruptly.
Later, it is naturally the trough that will come after the highlights.
The more I write "The Young Emperor's Growth Plan", the more I don't know what I'm going to write.
Give readers popular science and historical knowledge?
It doesn't seem right, I don't like to watch it.
Tell everyone an interesting story?
But aren't those things in history just interesting stories······
In this way, I fell into a strange circle of not telling stories, concentrating on explaining the historical background and expanding historical and humanistic anecdotes, but I didn't even do this well.
Until July 31 this year, when "The Young Emperor's Growth Plan" ended, I still didn't figure it out: how did I write so brilliantly at the beginning of this book?
In the latter part, why can't I write the beginning of the subtle, interlocking flavor?
Why am I writing and writing, and I am writing the way I am now?
I spent the whole month in deep self-doubt and self-denial.
"Maybe it's just luck that I accidentally hit a book."
"That's right, how can an engineering dog have the talent to write online articles."
"It's still a historical ······"
With this idea, I came up with the urge to quit the online writing industry and become a part-time worker.
But in the end, it was my editor, Qingzhouda, who pulled me back from the edge of the abyss in just one sentence and few numbers.
"Your writing is very good, and you already have a bit of the charm of an old history writer, but you are just distracted."
"Distracted", Qingzhou Da can come up with the most appropriate words to describe me.
It's not that I'm distracted, it's that the book is distracted, in my words, it should be called deviating from the main line, or forgetting the main line, diluting the main line.
In those days, Qingzhou Dada and I chatted almost from morning to night, asking for advice, discussing, and communicating. (I even suspect that Qingzhou Dada went to work for several days in a row to fish in order to guide me 2333333)
Eventually, I finally got out of the cycle of self-denial and self-doubt.
Of course, every time I reach Nirvana, it means a rebirth – and I found my problem.
To put it simply, the main line is too diluted, resulting in the main line not being called the main line until the end.
At the same time, a large amount of space is occupied by the historical and cultural background, which affects the length of the text.
In Qingzhouda's words, it is actually a sentence: novels and novels should not be said by your pen, but by the characters in the book.
With my first epiphany, I naturally regained my confidence and opened my second historical online article: "Da Yuan Zai"
(The title of this book was given by Qingzhou)
From the very beginning, my thinking was very clear, and Qingzhou Da also expressed great expectations for the sparks that could be sparked between the protagonist, a primary school valve from the Mo family, and Emperor Hui Liu Ying.
But unfortunately, I still failed to do a good job of the two main lines of "Ink Yang Yi" and "Hui Emperor Liu Ying", as well as the integration of the two main lines.
Coupled with the online literature ecology, it is really not very friendly to the slow-paced literature of ten years of life and gathering, ten years of lessons (ten years of foreshadowing, ten years of narration), and the results of "Da Yuan Zai" are very unsatisfactory.
In retrospect, if my parents' family was wealthy, I didn't worry about eating and drinking, and I didn't care how much money I could make by writing books, I would definitely put a man who lived in the Western Han Dynasty and eventually became the prime minister, and carried forward the doctrine of Mo Zhai, vividly displayed in front of everyone.
But unfortunately, my family background is ordinary.
His parents are aging, his income is lower than average, and he has a younger sister who is about to start her college career.
Not only will my parents not be able to support my personal life, but I will also need to be able to contribute as soon as possible to support my parents and the family I loved.
Bear with the pain and cut your love.
Or maybe it's forced by life.
It's just that because he can't make enough money and can't guarantee the most basic life, he has no choice but to become a eunuch.
"Da Yuan Jae" may be the regret of my entire creative career.
Then, there is now this book "The First Prince of the Han Dynasty", which is also the work that I originally crooked and planned to keep to impact the great god writers.
I'm not sure about the future, but for now, Huidi Liu Ying is definitely the protagonist I am most sure of writing well and brilliantly among the characters I can think of.
Emperor Hui Liu Ying's reign is also the era when I am most sure that I can stabilize the plot, create a complete world view, and depict a complete story.
In the past year, whenever I was complacent about the achievements of 'small achievements when I first entered the industry', I would think: When I have enough readers, I will write Liu Ying, and I will definitely become a god and preach the Tao!
Looking back now, it's really naïve and a little cute.
This "The First Prince of the Han Dynasty" is unlikely to be my famous work, and even the Zhongcheng Zuo is unlikely to become famous.
But there is no doubt that after the growth of the past year, the 1.6 million words of "The Growth Plan of the Young Emperor", and every moment in the dead of night, I secretly conceived the plot of this "work of God".
And my growth in the past year has also become my expectation for Liu Ying, the protagonist of this book.
- Growth.
——From ignorance, to maturity, and finally to strength.
Since I am confident and sure, I started writing quickly, and almost as soon as "Da Yuan Zai" ended, "The First Prince of the Han Dynasty" quickly began to be serialized.
Within a week, chapter 15 was published, and chapter 46 was saved, and then the fuck happened - chapters 15 through 22 were lost.
At this time, my train of thought was already after chapter 46, but what I lost was chapters 15-22, and my idea of this part was a little blurred and forgotten.
There are only two options left in front of me: either I can simply abandon the existing manuscript, reorganize my thinking, and start writing again from 15 chapters.
Or, it's a continuation.
Start with chapter 15 and continue to chapter 22, just like the 23 chapters that have already been written.
I chose the latter.
It was during this period of temporary suspension to concentrate on rewriting what I had lost that I suddenly discovered that I had an extremely strange habit.
——Whenever I can't figure out a person's personality, personality, and behavior logic, I can't help but click on "I want to be an emperor" for reference.
Realizing this, I suddenly reacted: every character I wrote unconsciously carried a strong shadow of "I want to be the emperor".
Liu Ying, the young and uncrowned prince, isn't it Liu De when he didn't become the prince?
The powerful old lady Lu Pheasant, isn't it the Queen Mother Dou Yi's room who sits in Changle?
Even his father Liu Bang unknowingly brought a little shadow of Emperor Jingdi Liu Qi!
Thinking about all this, I finally realized that every time I write, I delete and rewrite it inexplicably irritably, what is it for?
- Liu Ying, not Liu De!
- Lu Pheasant, it's not Dou Yifang!
- Liu Bang, not Liu Qi!
Every time I get irritable, it's these characters who cry out for me with dissatisfaction!
In an instant, I suddenly opened up and my brain was clear.
That's right!
I don't want to leave Thorn Ke, why do I have to write it like I want to leave Thorn Ke?
You must know that even he is no longer like himself! (233333333, skin)
Why do I have to learn from him?
In that instant, fifteen minutes before and after, I felt like I had an epiphany.
No one stipulates that my Liu Ying has to be a ruthless political creature, I can write a toddler who has become an excellent king little by little;
No one stipulates that the Lu Pheasant in my pen has to be caused by the emperor's son/grandson, ruined and discredited, and finally handed over the power of the old queen mother, I can write an ear-to-ear life, teach Liu Ying to toddler, and finally, like every normal mother, a great mother who tears up and watched her son spread his wings and soar;
No one stipulates that my Liu Bang needs to be like his grandson Liu Qi.
- Liu Bang, it's Liu Bang!
- He has his own charm and a look that only he has!
It was only then that I really got rid of the demon that I had imposed on me, called 'just learn to leave, and the more you write like him, the better you write'.
In retrospect, there were many things that were clearly good and worth chewing on, but I subconsciously deleted them on the charge of 'not being like writing about it'.
Let go of this demon, and when I pick up a pen that only reads "Zhongcheng Zuo Official" and does not see the words "Dong Shi Xiaofeng", I have all the content that everyone sees now after chapter 15.
Some readers may feel that they are separated, and they feel that Liu Ying always planned to cross the river and tear down the bridge at the beginning, but later he became a good son, and the character design was inconsistent.
I felt the same way at first, but in the end, I decided not to change it.
Because after smoothing out my thinking, I found that this contrast is consistent with what I want to express: Liu Ying started from ignorance and grew little by little.
From the very beginning, the naivety of threatening to oppose Lu Pheasant and destroy the Lu family, to the gradual maturity of later, and then to the deep love with Lu Pheasant's mother and son.
Slightly boastful, such a contrast and growth seem to have made Liu Ying's character change from a paper man to a flesh-and-blood 'person' on paper.
The above is the process of an ordinary historical author, from ignorance, to thoughtfulness, to a slight feeling, and then to (suspected) enlightenment.
and "The First Prince of the Han Dynasty" is the story of Liu Ying, Emperor Hui of the Han Dynasty, an ordinary traverser, from naïve, to Handan toddler, to the gradual sophistication of his wrists, and then to the final power in his hands, the story of revitalizing the Han Dynasty.
Thank you for your unremitting support in the past month or so, and I hope that in the future, "The First Prince of the Han Dynasty" will continue to receive everyone's support in the 2-3 years of serialization.

After talking about so much inconsequential, let's get straight to the point.
Previously, I promised you more than once that 50 chapters were updated on the shelves.
At the end of last month, the reward plus update activity was launched, with 7 chapters added to the No. 1 prize pool and 3 chapters to the No. 2 prize pool.
Coupled with the promised daily 5 updates, then the update after I hit the shelves in November should be-
50 chapters on the shelves on the 19th, 10 chapters for rewards, 5 chapters a day for 11 days from the 20th to the 30th, a total of 115 chapters.
But this plan was a little bit unexpected.
Some old guys reminded me that there are too many daily updates on the shelves than after they are put on the shelves, which will lead to the steady growth of the average subscription, which will affect the follow-up recommendations and ultimately the results.
I'm sure the readers, too, would like to see a better score for this book, and should be able to understand my actions.
Of course, I can't just talk about it.
Therefore, after it was released in November, the 115 chapters that should have been updated became the 130 chapters in the following plan.
On November 19, it will be released at 12 noon, with 20 chapters updated;
For 11 days from November 20 to November 30, 10 chapters will be updated every day.
In this way, I can avoid the situation that I said earlier that there are too many riots on the shelves, resulting in the inability to increase the average subscription, and it will not affect my promise to everyone, and the total number of updates is 15 more than the original 115 chapters.
As for the start of December······
I might as well give you a real idea: the speed of my code words, about 10 hours to write, the limit should be around 6-7 chapters, because occasionally to check the information, written is an ancient saying, to consider the use of words, every part of the stop, conceive of the follow-up plot, and then look back at the written plot, so as to check and fill in the gaps.
So, making me 10 more per day is indeed a bit too difficult for me.
Chapter 7, it should be my best to barely achieve it, starting in December, I will try to keep it around 7 more per day, write more when the state is good, and less when the state is bad.
To sum up: the daily update is definitely not less than 5 chapters, and try not to be less than 7 chapters.
Let's talk about the update time.
On the shelves at 12 noon on the 19th, it will be updated every minute between 12:01-12:21, I hope you will support it and subscribe.
After that, the update will start at 0:01 a.m. every day, with one chapter per minute, until the update is finished on the same day.
As for the addition, although I don't expect it, let's talk about it.
The alliance leader will add three more, and the plus will be released at 6 a.m. on the second day of the reward.
(You're going to have to give me a night of liver, right?) )
That's all.
If we who write the book are engineers and the book we write is a building, then everyone's genuine subscription support is undoubtedly the brick that supports the building of "The First Prince of the Han Dynasty".
There are enough bricks, so that the assistant who is an engineer can focus more on the design work than on the access to the bricks.
I hope you can come up with dozens of coins every day, that is, a few cents, genuine subscription support.
Call~
As a writer, increasing the number of updates on the premise of ensuring quality on the day of the shelf is all I can do as a writer, and I have done my best.
As for the final result, it depends on whether everyone supports it or not.
Regardless of the result, the assistant official is here and thanks in advance (hand bow, long bow).
I wish you all a happy life, smooth work, a happy family, and a long and healthy life.
