Chapter 33: Bright Tides and Dark Tides
Chapter 33: Bright Tides and Dark Tides
Whether it is qi or dao, monks always aim to become immortals. On the path of the slow immortal path, the monks who have cultivated to the Ming Dao stage are far more powerful than the monks of the Imperial Qi Period, and the higher ones are even more distinct and very clear. This is also the reason why many family sects and even the first emperor in the second world are sects rather than sects.
There are many sects, especially large sects, which are mainly based on enlightenment, supplemented by qi cultivation.
Dao is the first method left after the aura of heaven and earth dissipates that allows people to cultivate immortals.
For example, there is a lack of spiritual energy today, and all that exists is the pseudo-spiritual energy left after the death of all things, which also leads to the fact that although there are tens of millions of monks in the second world, the number of them is really small, only less than half of the first world.
To get back to the point, the main problem why the monks of the Ming Dao period surpassed the monks who cultivated qi was the difference between "realm" and "space".
The realm is the most direct manifestation of the enlightened monk in the middle of the enlightenment path. With its own avenue as the core and the trail as the auxiliary, it constructs a formation diagram with itself as the center of the circle, and the array diagram is the field. The biggest embodiment in the field is that you can increase the law as your own strength increases, and outsiders are like being trapped in the laws you set, and you can only sit and wait for death.
Space is the most intuitive expression of the monks who cultivate qi in the middle of the qi control period. With the laws of heaven and earth as the core, and the attributes of one's own comprehension as the auxiliary, a hole with oneself as the center of the circle is constructed, and the void is the space. What space provides is the law of addition. In the space that oneself has constructed, the attributes that belong to oneself are strengthened, and the attributes that restrain oneself are weakened or even directly annihilated. It's hard for outsiders to use all their strength in your space, and it's even harder to drive attributes.
It seems that both are very practical, there is not much difference, and they are both for their own service.
But a closer look reveals a problem. If a water attribute qi cultivation master is in a realm laid down by a comprehension master of the water avenue, the law is supreme, and if the realm stipulates that outsiders cannot drive water, then this qi cultivation master will become an ordinary person in an instant.
The law is supreme!
This is the greatest strength of an enlightened monk!
This is a law set by heaven and earth, and no one can break it.
The realm is on the same attribute law, crushing the space.
Although many people want to be enlightened because of this relationship, their talents are limited. Although there are 3,000 avenues, some people have never realized a single point until they die of old age, no matter what things or feelings they have.
It's not something you take for granted that this is your way, but it's predestined in the dark. Although the trails are different, there is always a general existence, and everyone's life is different, and the trail of comprehension is also different.
The star derivative map, no matter how big or small the sect is, has this map, and the intention is naturally to test the qualifications of the new disciples.
In the derivative map of the stars, there are four avenues and four atmospheres.
On the southern edge is the Divine Way and the attributes of Light.
The northern edge is the attribute of Killing Dao and Darkness.
The western edge is the attribute of despair and death.
On the edge of the east, no one has been able to pluck a star from there, and it is a secret whether there is a hidden Dao and Qi there.
Although the three attributes of light, darkness, death, and death are attributes against the sky, they are single, and the Tao in the same direction represents many small paths.
This also shows that the Tao is greater than the Qi.
In addition to Dao and Qi, the monks of the Second World also have a kind of power that is derived from the first two and passed down.
This is the secret of every sect.
Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism are just some of them.
These things are all mentioned in some of the writings left by the precipitation of the Lai Sect for thousands of years, and the martial arts are customized through the cultivation of the former.
These things are collectively known as occult arts.
Dao Xing is the secret art of the Dao Sect, which has been painstakingly studied by several generations of Dao ancestors. Until now, what remains of the Taoist secret art is the supreme Dao seal cast by the Tao Te Ching, the talisman engraved by the attributes of heaven and earth, the elixir refined by the strange flowers and herbs of heaven and earth, and the natural swordsmanship without any tricks and no spectrum.
These are all left behind by the hard work and continuous practice of hundreds of generations of Taoist ancestors. Each generation of Dao Ancestors has to take care of the Dao Sect, and more importantly, they must concentrate on studying these four secret techniques and carry them forward even more.
The secret art is now a symbol of the sect or sect, and the tricks are naturally recognized by people, and the elixir made by the alchemy similar to the Taoist sect has become a symbol of the Taoist sect in the second world, and it is also what many people want.
Even if you don't comprehend the Dao or cultivate the Qi, although the casting of the secret art is somewhat affected, you can still cultivate.
This is almost out of the framework of Dao and Qi.
The inheritance recorded by the secret art itself is already a part of heaven and earth, and every existence that records the secret art has its own spirituality and aura, and the viewer, even if it is an ordinary person, will still be stimulated to the potential of the body, and it will never be learned, but the time it takes may be a long time.
In the second world, in addition to the geographical division of sects and sects, the inheritance of secret arts, the most peculiar is the cave heaven blessed land.
The place where the Taoist Sect is located is also a blessed land, which has the effect of nourishing all things.
Confucianism and Buddhism are naturally not bad.
All the other caves and blessed lands are more hidden between heaven and earth, and they have been unveiled since then. These caves are called secret realms.
The existence of the secret realm has caused many people in the second world to rush to find it, even at the expense of fighting.
Some of the secret realms are even immortal blessing sites handed down from the flood era, and there are many magical elixir immortal artifacts in them.
These limited resources have become fat meat that anyone in the second world wants to take a bite of, and the number of monks who have died for these things is too great to count.
Although the surface of the second world is unremarkable, all the sects and sects are secretly fighting, and the leaders of each region are elected once every hundred years, and the content of the election is a competition between disciples who have joined the sect for no more than fifty years.
The victorious ones are naturally the leaders of this region, and at the same time, they are also given great resources to cultivate.
This is a competition on the surface, secretly some small sects and sects even do not hesitate to slaughter hostile opponents in order to occupy the last limited resources, if it is not for the fear of the rumored emperor, it is estimated that it will be even more excessively snatched.
The once-in-a-century tournament is known as the Battle of the Hundred Schools, and it's not just a competition in one region.
The top three in each region will have to compete in the central region. And the purpose of this battle is not only to show their respective strength, but also to allocate the resources of the ownerless in the second world, and it is also an implication that the first sect or sect will receive unconditional support from other sects and sects in this hundred years, and will make concessions on various matters.
The geographical division of sects, the inheritance of secret arts, the blessed land of caves, and the war of hundreds of schools of thought are the main themes of today's second world, which have lasted for more than 500 years.
Although there are no mortal wars here, the fighting in the shadows will never stop
