Volume 1 Earth Chapter 178 Archaeological Mystery
A resident of Black Wolf Mountain, who built a house without permission, found an ancient tomb of the Liao Dynasty when digging the foundation. A few bold villagers entered the tomb without permission and tried to rob the tomb, but they were killed by the arrow cluster in the tomb.
There were casualties, and the matter could no longer be hidden.
This incident not only alarmed the local government, but also the local archaeological department.
A group of archaeologists gathered in Black Wolf Mountain as if they were rushing to gather. These professional gravediggers quickly excavated a princess tomb at the end of the Liao Dynasty, and the archaeological harvest was greater than the sum of all the ancient tombs of the Liao Dynasty excavated in the past.
In the auxiliary tomb alone, more than 1,000 Khitan scripts were found!
Perhaps it was the regulations of the Liao government that non-Khitan people were not allowed to read the Liao classics; perhaps it was the Jin State's hatred of the Liao State and the fear that it would regain its prosperity, since the Jin State occupied and ruled the Khitan people, the Khitan people were not allowed to speak the Khitan language, let alone use the Khitan script.
So that the Liao State, which has existed for more than 200 years, has not left a single document or classics, and most of the Khitan historical materials about the Liao State are found and obtained from sporadic archaeology.
Whether it was the Jin State, which ruled the Liao State first, or the Mongolian State, which later ruled the Liao State, it was extremely irresponsible to cover up or arbitrarily belittle the history of Liao......
In 916 A.D., Liao Taizu Yelu Abaoji, the founding year name, the country name "Khitan", the capital of Beijing. In 1125 AD, the last emperor of Liao, Emperor Tianzuo, was captured by the Jin Wanyan Lou Room in Yingzhou. The Liao State was destroyed, and the country enjoyed 209 years. During this period, the name of the country was changed from "Khitan" to "Liao", and then it was called "Khitan", and then changed to "Liao", three times and five times.
ββIt is the only dynasty in history that constantly changes the name of the country.
Later, Yelu Dashi, a nobleman of the Liao State, gathered the remnants in Emin and controlled the Mongolian Plateau and the eastern part of Xinjiang. In 1132, Yelu Dashi was proclaimed emperor in Yemili (now Emin, Xinjiang), known as Western Liao in history, and was destroyed by Genghis Khan's Mongol army in 1218, and established the country in 87 years.
In 1213, Yelu Liuge, the clan of the Liao Dynasty, was proclaimed king in Longan, with the country name Liao and the history of Eastern Liao. At the beginning of 1216, Yelu Liuge's younger brother Yelu was called the emperor in Chengzhou, and was known as Houliao in history. After the founding of the country, Yeluliuge was attached to the Mongol Empire and became its vassal state, and in 1270, Yuan Shizu withdrew from the domain, and the Eastern Liao was officially destroyed, enjoying the country for 57 years.
If you count from the year, the Liao state established by the Khitan people lasted for a total of 354 years. The history of the founding of the People's Republic of China is so long, but it has not left much historical data in the history of China, and there is no classic book of Khitan writing.
The history of the Khitan has disappeared into the long river of history like a mystery.
Imagine, in the excavation of the ancient tombs of the Liao Dynasty, there are more than 1,000 Khitan classics alone, what kind of archaeological discovery is this?!
The strangest thing for archaeologists is that someone has recently entered the tomb, but no traces of theft have been found!
The funeral goods are readily available, but there is no bones of the tomb owner in the coffin, and only a set of princess shrouds and a phantom-like ring are found in the coffin.
That ring is magical!
It looks like it is real, but when you take it with your hand, you can't pick it up, and you can't feel anything when you grasp it with your fingers, like a hologram of a ring.
Archaeologists have the same understanding of the objects, objects, things, and the system of the tomb in the tomb, and the owner of the tomb is a princess of the Liao Kingdom, whether it is from the life painting of the tomb owner on the tomb wall, or some words on the tomb wall prove this.
The controversy is that most archaeologists believe that it is a well-dressed mound, and several archaeologists are undecided. There is only one old scholar who is proficient in Yi Xue, Feng Shui, who believes that the deceased has left the tomb after being resurrected!
This sensational speculation was immediately blocked by the relevant departments at a higher level.
Although the tomb at the site was damaged by the local villagers, all the archaeologists can be sure that not long ago, a person dug a robbery hole from the mountainside and entered the tomb, but from the footprints when he went out, it was two people.
This can't be explained!
There are many unexplained problems in the whole incident, such as: why did the person who entered the tomb not touch the anti-theft mechanism, why did he or she not take the burial goods in the tomb? (there are many burial goods in the tomb, and the few witch weapons that Ning Ke took are negligible)......
It is unconvincing to say that the tomb robber was a gentleman or a scholar, and that he or she went to great lengths just to visit the tomb (if the lid of the coffin is opened only to steal the remains of the tomb owner, there will be bones, hair, etc.).
And the fact is that it was a "grave robber" who came in, but two people who went out. This doesn't make sense.
All kinds of doubts support the assumptions and inferences of the old pedant:
Not long ago, a "resurrection messenger" entered the tomb, "woke up" the sleeping princess in the coffin, and then both left. This serious archaeological topic has become a fairy tale of a brave prince who rescues a beautiful princess who has been imprisoned by magic for thousands of years......
In fact, the local villagers once told the archaeologists about the appearance of Ning Ke and the Black Lady Princess together. It's a pity that these archaeologists are completely disdainful when they hear it, how can they believe the fake words of some ignorant villagers?
Even the old pedant didn't want to take the villagers' word for it. Academic assumptions and inferences are two different things from the rumors of the villagers.
That's academic.
The inference of the old pedant must have two premises:
One is that the owner of the tomb is a kind of biological "suspended animation" - a kind of hibernation-like sleep in the tomb for nearly a thousand years. The argument itself, while incredible, has been the subject of many similar examples.
The second is the real existence of the "resurrection messenger". Once the "resurrection messenger" or the owner of the tomb is found, the argument holds.
The old pedant refuted the naysayers, saying, "Who are we, where did we come from, where are we going??......Are we just loners in the whole universe?"
"Can people hibernate like some animals?" How can Indian yogis be explained by hibernation for several days, without eating or drinking, and still maintaining their vital signs?......
Then, he talked about several cases in ancient Chinese books, the story of the resurrection of the dead.....
The first story: During the reign of Emperor Yuan of the Jin Dynasty (reigned in the first year of the Common Era), Guo Pu, who was Zuo Lang at the time, recorded such a strange anecdote in his annotated "Classic of Mountains and Seas: The Classic of the West of the Sea":
"In the Wei period, someone excavated the tomb of King Zhou Ling, and had a martyrdom woman, who did not die or live, and was angry for a few days, and could speak after a few months, like twenty people. Send Yi Jingshi, Empress Dowager Guo loves to raise it, and she is always around. More than ten years later, the queen mother collapsed, and the woman mourned and cried, and died for more than a year. β
According to historical records, King Ling of Zhou died in 545 BC, and according to this calculation, this martyred woman spent more than 800 years in the tomb and was resurrected!
The second story: "Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms: Book of Wei" records that someone in Taiyuan dug up a tomb and found that a woman in the coffin was still alive. The magistrate sent her to Chang'an and asked her about the past, but she didn't know what to answer. Judging from the trees growing on the tomb, it is more than 50 years old.
The third story: "The Book of Jin β’ Five Elements Chronicles" records that there was a rich man named Du Jin in the Jin Dynasty, whose mother died, and privately buried a personal maid who served her mother on weekdays. More than ten years later, my father died, and in order to be buried together, I dug up the tomb and found that the maid was still alive. When asked about her experience in the tomb, she only said that she was asleep and knew nothing else.
The maidservant girl was only fifteen or sixteen years old when she was buried, and when the grave was dug up, people found that she was still so young and beautiful. Later, she married and had children, and lived as usual until she was seventy or eighty.
...... In addition to the above examples, there are some similar examples in other ancient books, so don't use them. The records in these ancient books have a certain degree of credibility when they are studied.
However, it cannot be corroborated that the owner of the ancient tomb of the Liao Dynasty excavated this time has been resurrected.
However, the archaeologists found a few long hairs in the coffin, which was really exciting, but the DNA test results were not available for a while. Even if the results come out, it does not prove that it must be the hair of the owner of the tomb, and it may also be the hair of the people who placed the shroud......
Another major discovery of the archaeological team was the discovery of a burning shale gas lantern on an artificially excavated vault stone chamber platform in the upper part of the tomb.
From the analysis of the carbon ash deposition on the wall of the stone chamber, this long lantern has continued to burn for nearly a thousand years without extinguishing!
It's not like you can fool the past with the word "miracle......
Archaeologists studied the internal structure of the seven-star arch-moon lantern, and found that in the rock crevices, there were two other hidden spherical platinum tubes that led to the outside of the mountain rock to regulate the gas pressure of shale.
There is a platinum spring valve in each of the two pipes, similar to the water-saving valve in today's public toilets, the spring valve is opened when the air pressure is high, which can release excess shale gas into the air, and vice versa, the valve is closed to collect gas...... In this way, the air pressure of the lantern can be maintained stable for a long time.
Archaeologists sighed at the ingenuity and ingenuity of the Liao Dynasty people, if you study it carefully, what kind of height of science and technology has this gas lamp reached?
This archaeology has brought fundamental changes to the villagers of Black Wolf Mountain, and the villagers' original houses have been demolished and resettled.
Soon, the project to develop the tourism resources of the Black Wolf Mountain, which was invested and implemented by the provincial authorities, began, and most of the villagers became the builders of the project, and the poor appearance of the place was fundamentally improved at once.
Whether the shale gas in Black Wolf Mountain can be developed for industrial application needs to be further demonstrated, and the city of Dandong, not far from here, is already trying to extract shale gas.
A strategically important highway for armaments will be put into construction on the mountains here......
The excavation of the tomb of the last princess of the Black Wolf (Niang) Mountain Liao Kingdom directly injured the owner of the tomb, Yelu Heiniang.
By the time the Black Lady was able to read a newspaper with simplified Chinese characters and use a smartphone, it was months later. When her mausoleum was developing a tourist attraction, she had already taken advantage of the time array and entered the long river of history......
