Chapter 4: Hidden Treasure
Master Mibu saw Monk Zhu treat the enemy like this, and was impressed by his bearing. I thought that the Yuan Dynasty had declined to this point, and sooner or later the country would be this person.
The general is still a benevolent and righteous person, good, Amitabha!
The master's life-saving grace, Zhu will never forget!
The master's invulnerability was the envy of the rebels, and some suspected that the master had used magic. The master's martial arts display, even the monks in the temple had never seen it, and they were all stunned.
Faced with the suspicion of the famous generals and soldiers in the Red Turban Army, the master had to tell him that this fist was the Buddha's heart fist, which was realized by the first presiding monk Huiling of Lingguang Temple, and it has been passed down for hundreds of years.
Monk Zhu has been in the monastery for several years, and he has heard of the Buddha's heart fist, but he has never seen it, and that is the legend, that is the floating clouds.
Buddha heart boxing is the practice of Buddhism, inherited the Buddhism outside the boxing method, and absorbed the Taoist inner strength, the use of Buddhist teachings, throughout, unfathomable, both pay attention to the internal force, but also pay attention to the external law, the heart to the mind, continuous adhesion, the outside soft and the inner firm, to the soft system, the name is the fist, the most practical is the palm, to reach the highest level of the Buddhist boxing method, only the heirs who are determined to be the temple hosts can practice, in order to inherit, and must be both virtuous and artistic people to do. At that time, he and Venerable Yin Ming both received the true transmission.
In order to repay the grace of saving his life, Monk Zhu promised that he would get the world one day, and he would definitely follow the example of King Tang to treat Lingguang Temple.
In fact, what Monk Zhu wants most is the master's martial arts. He wanted to take the master away, assist the great cause, and carry forward the Buddha's heart fist. It is densely informed that this Buddhist technique is not for ordinary people to practice and should not be widely disseminated. Coupled with the dense nostalgia for Lingguang Temple, he was unwilling to return to Hongchen and politely refused, Zhu Yuanzhang was inconvenient to force, so he had to leave part of the money to repair the temple.
After a few days, Monk Zhu's army approached Jiqing.
Fushou saw Zhu Ziqi appear in front of the battle and knew that Zhao Zhi's plan had failed. He had no choice but to strengthen the city walls, block the river, and put up a stubborn resistance. He ordered the west, south, and north gates to be closed, and only the east gate to be opened, and swore to fight to the death. His subordinates persuaded him to retreat, saying that if the city survives, he will live, and if the city is broken, he will die, and finally die in battle on the Phoenix Terrace.
Monk Zhu built the capital of Nanjing, became the emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and fulfilled his promise, sent a large amount of gold, and presented an imperial treasure, which was packed in a red sandalwood box. The saint said that as long as this thing is presented, the temple will definitely do what the court needs to do.
While being grateful to the emperor, he was also very sober-minded. Lingguang Temple is too high-profile and not good, he has not even opened the red sandalwood box, and no one knows what it is. He ordered someone to make a silver letter, put the red sandalwood box in, and then made an exception to open the door of the spiritual pagoda underground palace, bury the treasure in, and become the treasure of the temple.
The baby enters the temple, which is infinite glory in the eyes of others, but the drum is beating in the dense heart, and he is worried all day long, sometimes to the point of not thinking about tea and dinner. After thinking about it, you must hide the treasure, otherwise it will be the bane of the temple after all. He decided to hide the treasure in the pagoda.
The reason why Mi Bu wanted to enter the spirit pagoda was really out of helplessness.
It is clear that royal things are not so easy to hold. Looking at the treasure in the red sandalwood box, he was very worried. What exactly did the emperor give? All the monks were waiting, all wanting to see it. It is also said that the emperor's envoy said that by displaying this thing, the court can meet everything. The temple is miserable, and he didn't want to improve one or two. However, Mi Bu has been locking the treasure in the abbot's room, and the secret is not revealed. No one knows whether this thing is a blessing or a curse for the temple, and this is the difficulty of Mira.
The densely packed apprentice is called Puzhao, who used to be Yinming's apprentice and the capital eunuch in the monastery. Because the monastery has no prison, in fact, the status of universal illumination is second only to dense. Puzhao, who is less than 30 years old, has already studied Buddhism deeply, and Mibu admires him very much, and intends to train him as a successor, and if necessary, he will also teach him the Buddha's Heart Fist Method.
One day, he asked Pu Zhao what is the correct Dharma of "Dharma nature", "Dharma dwelling", and "Dharma realm"? Puzhao said that from the relative to the absolute realm, the Dharma is "emptiness" and "truthfulness", also known as "one reality seal". Unfolding in the realm of difference from the absolute oneness of the dharma, that is the three seals of the dharma of dependent arising: "the impermanence of all actions, the selflessness of all dharmas, and the stillness of nirvana." "Because there is no impermanence, looking at everything vertically is nothing more than a process of birth and death that cannot be thought of, similar and continuous. Because there is no self, looking at everything horizontally is nothing more than a phenomenon of distribution that spreads and rotates and depends on each other. Because there is no existence, everything is intuitive, and it is nothing more than the naturelessness of the Dharma, the stillness of the Dharma that is immortal and immortal. In the final analysis, the three seals are one seal, and if one seal is violated, the three seals will not be seals.
The Dharma is said by Puzhao in such a profound way, we can't understand it, but we can listen to it densely, and we are very surprised, and it is not easy for Puzhao to understand it in this way.
Mibu thought that the Dharma rooted in the Buddha's self-consciousness and after the Buddha's nirvana was transmitted from the north and south of India, the original intention of all the voices, bodhisattvas and great virtuous and wise people was to enable all people to partially or completely solve the troubles and sufferings of the world, so it was convenient to carry them, thinking that from top to bottom, they were in line with the opportunity to compete to open thousands of methods: or "without self, from greed and ignorance"; or "I am the only one in heaven and the world"; Or to say, "All the good dharmas in the world are dharmas"; Or it is said that the "Four Sidhans" dominate all the Dharmas, and the "First Righteous Siddhan" is the ultimate righteousness that cannot be destroyed; In other words, the "Three Dharma Seals" and the "One Reality Seal" are the fundamental principles for identifying the Dharma. In other words, "dependent arising emptiness" is the supreme meaning of Buddhism, and it is really magnificent and boundless. It seems that Pu Zhao is naturally intelligent and understands the Dharma in this way, and he will definitely be able to promote the Dharma in the future.
Pu Zhao suddenly said that the emperor was a monk and had a relationship with the Buddha, so the treasures he gave must also be related to the Buddha.
Mi Bu was even more surprised, how did the apprentice know that the treasure given by the emperor was related to the Buddha? The rosewood box never left his sight. Mibu thought about it for a long time and decided to build a silver letter and bury it in the spirit tower. The monks in the temple all objected, and asked the abbot to open the red sandalwood box for everyone to take a look at the treasures given by the emperor, only the apprentice Puzhao did not object.
The excavation of the spiritual pagoda is not a small project, and Mibu led the monks to work for several days before digging the door of the underground palace. The monks thought that Mi Bu would show the treasures to the monks when they were buried in the underground palace, but they did not expect to hold a simple ceremony, so they put the silver letter into a large porcelain jar and buried it in the underground palace.
Because others didn't know what treasures the emperor had sent, and they had never seen it, and the dense cloth was deliberately concealed and dealt with in a low-key manner, and gradually the monks forgot about it. However, the news will always get out, and from time to time pilgrims will come to the temple to ask to see the treasures, but they are all refused.
