Chapter 1: The Stars and the Moon

It was a small village on the very edge of Teresia with a dense forest to the north, a wonderful sea to the west, and a high mountain to the east, beyond which there was a vast hill inhabited by a mighty tribe of dwarves.

This small village has a very wonderful name called Xingyue.

Xingyue Village is inhabited by the most friendly and closest race to nature. They have long ears, big eyes, a small body, and of course, the best part is that they have a pair of transparent wings that can change colors. They have the best name they have - elves.

In the center of the village is a huge ancient tree, her branches are luxuriant, and her body grows as many holes as the elves every year, which is the elves' dwelling, and the green leaves are the elves' crowns of shelter from the wind and rain. Every autumn, she sheds some of her leaves, which the elves are able to weave into colorful clothes after drying. These clothes are worn on the elves, and with their colorful little wings, they sparkle as the most brilliant light of the world's shining pearl when they fly. This ancient tree created their world, hence the name of this tree is the World Tree.

On the eastern side of the mountain there is a babbling stream that flows down from the highest part of the mountain, past the mist-shrouded mountainside, and then over a straight and steep mountain stream, where it becomes a small waterfall. The waterfall has to go through a height of thousands of meters from top to bottom, and whenever an elf gets bored, he will go up to the top of the waterfall to have a look. At that time, the waterfall will turn into a beautiful rainbow, which is very beautiful. Further down, at the foot of the mountain, the current on the high mountain gradually slows down, and the flow turns into a gentle stream. Eventually, after a long journey, the stream converged in a well that unselfishly received the water that flowed down from the mountains, and when it could no longer hold it, the well would overflow and let them continue their journey. Then the stream flows past the huge old tree in the middle of the village and finally flows into the westernmost sea.

Besides, there was a huge statue beside the clear well, at least a dozen feet high. This statue has been around for a long time, and even the elves don't know when. The statue has a beautiful face, pointed ears like elves, and wears the most beautiful robes that elves can weave. She held a large bow in both hands, and the bow was rounded by her, and the arrow looked like it was about to be shot. Legend has it that this is the goddess of the moon that the elves worship and believe in. That's why this well under her is also known as the Moon Well.

The forest to the north is a favorite place for elves, who go there in the spring to collect the freshest pollen and exchange sweet honey with the industrious bees. In the summer, the elves go to pick the fruits that grow in the forest, and in the fall, they can not only pick the fruits, but also meet their old friends. They have turquoise bodies, large eyes, fleshy wings, and four sharp claws. Since I don't know when, the elves and these green dragons have been very good friends. They had never hurt each other, and although the elves had given them powerful magic from nature, and the little green dragons had sharp claws and flames from their mouths, they still wouldn't hurt each other. Sometimes, the little green dragons will stay with the elves and live with them all the time. When winter comes, the forest will turn into a sea of snow-white water, and from time to time you will hear the sound of pine nuts falling, which is very nice.

The sea to the west is also beautiful, but there are often strange creatures running up, and the elves try to persuade them to go back to the sea, but they never obey. The once clean and tidy coast was a mess, and some animals from the sea grew old and would sleep there. This makes the elves very sad, death is far away from them, they have a long lifespan, and for other races, they are immortal. They didn't understand why other creatures were so quick to accept death, as if the little green dragon who had been with them had died of old age when they had just become sensible.

They live in peace in such a beautiful world, free, equal, comfortable, noble, they have almost everything that a mortal wants.

Elves have many kinds of magic, some can control fire, some can produce water in the air, some can nourish trees to grow, and of course, everyone can communicate with everything. Whether it's trees or animals, they can communicate with them with that magic.

Our story takes place in such a world, the story of an adventurous elf.

It is said that on a quiet and peaceful afternoon in the autumn of one year, the elves who were supposed to be busy or playing outside did not go out today, because they were looking at the female elf at the top of the World Tree with a curious and anxious expression. At this time, the World Tree was shining with colorful light on her body, her face was painful, her brows were furrowed, and large pieces of sweat broke out from her forehead.

Such scenes are rare in their lives, because each elf has only two or three chances to give birth in their long lives. So every few decades or even hundreds of years, an elf gives birth to offspring.

"Winnie, come on!" the elves cheered up as they looked at the companion blessings that had been lying on it for a long time but had not given birth to the child.

"Ahh

In such a long time, no elf had ever been in such a situation when he had given birth to offspring, and was Winnie going to die? They could not help but be silent, not believing or willing to accept that the lives of their companions were passing by little by little.

"Beloved Moon Goddess, Hathaway, show your loving embrace and save your people!" the elves prayed ferentially.

At this moment, a golden light came from the sky, and everyone's eyes closed at the intense stimulation brought by this light. The light grew slower and slower from far to near, until it reached the top of the World Tree and slowly stopped.

"Ahh The colorful light emitted by the World Tree was even more intense, and large foliage of the trees was rapidly withering.

The golden light swayed above Vinnie, as if studying the pained elf.

At this time, next to the moon well, the corner of Hathaway's statue was filled with a hint of water, which quickly combined into a tear that slowly flowed out of the corner of the eye. "Boom!" sounded, and the light accompanied the sound, and something resembling a golden sand flowed from its interior and slowly touched Winnie's body.

It's been a long time, at least that's what the anxious elves think.

Suddenly, a piercing cry rang out, and at last the elves were born!"Winnie!" The elves flew over, and they couldn't help but smile happily as they looked at their weak but still alive companions.

The golden light also slowly dissipated with the birth of the child, and the elves were stunned for a while, and it took a while to react, and her companion Winnie didn't know what to do.

"Oh my God, golden elves!" the elves exclaimed as they looked at the elves snuggled in the arms of their companion Vinnie.

Yes, an elf that emits a golden glow, is this its own kind?
