Chapter 26: Strange
The capital of the Holy City
The sun was slowly setting in the west, and it was already dusk, and the streets that used to be bustling with people were gradually decreasing, and the vendors were tidying up their stalls, and now there were men and women on the streets who writhed rhythmlessly like idiots, as if they were obsessed with flawless things.
One of the girls relieved herself, first looked up at the sky, then at the bespectacled boy next to her, still indulging, and patted the boy on the shoulder.
Morphiface: "Hey, it's night, let's go." β
Sisyphus: "Huh, so fast?" stretched comfortably.
Morphiface: "Then I'll go first." He was about to turn around and leave, but was stopped by Sisyphus.
Sisyphus: "Why don't we go back to the department together, I just want to read the book for a while." β
Murty Face nodded in agreement, and the two walked together on the way back to the academy, and saw a gloomy façade on the way, with a sign written in black in some kind of paint.
But Murtimius said rarely: "I can't read these words either, it feels strange." β
Sisyphus was shocked, and there was something in the world that Murtyface didn't know? It must be something good.
Sisyphus pondered for a while, and called Murtimus to go over to see what it was selling, and when he passed, he only put a black cover, on which only a creature that looked like a whale but did not feel like it, and there were only five pages.
Murtyface: "The ..... of the book" picked it up and looked at the cover for a moment, then looked into the store, and it was pitch black, and there was nothing to be seen, like an abyss.
Sisyphus shouted at the store, "Is there anyone?"
After a while, no one answered, and both of them wondered in their hearts, the book was not taken back by the merchant, could it be that they had forgotten?
Sisyphus took a few pieces of money from his school uniform pocket and put them in the place at the beginning of the booth book, and the book could be taken anyway after the payment had been made.
Sisyphus: "Let's go, go back and see." β
Murtilface held the book in his hand, the book made him feel uneasy, but the book also attracted her deeply, and because of curiosity, Murtilface chose to take it back.
Morphiface: "Hmm. Opening the light door, the two hurried in.
But a human came out of the abyss-like door, and a grim smile appeared at the door.
Faculty of Wisdom
Murtimus and Sisyphus entered the faculty, while Tulameline and her teacher, Metatra, wore aprons and cooked in the room on the left side of the hall.
Sisyphus was dumbfounded and looked at the two cookers, 10,000 times puzzled.
Sisyphus looked at Murtilface and asked, "Isn't this the Academy of Wisdom?"
Murtilface smiled and explained: "That's right, usually the department is just me and Teacher Metatra, and the two of us sometimes don't go home, we stay in the department to read, but we will be hungry, so we simply cook here." β
Sisyphus couldn't help but feel sad when he thought about being tired and hungry every night in the Guardian Academy, but still going home to cook alone.
Sisyphus: "It's really good. β
Tulameline poked out half of her head and whispered, "The meal will be ready soon! β
Murtilface smiled in response, and Sisyphus waved awkwardly in response.
The two sat on the benches, Murtyface with his hands on the table ready to flip through the book he had just gotten, and Sisyphus was expecting what was inside.
As soon as I looked through a little bit, before I could see the text, Tulameline and Teacher Metatra came out with the food in both hands.
Murtilface put his hand aside, his eyes looking at the dish in all its flavors and colors, and his mouth was ready to drool, and of course Sisyphus was no different.
Tulamelin: "It's time to eat!"
Metatra: "And the rice and soup, I'll bring it out." β
After finishing the dishes, Tulameline put the food on the table, sat opposite the two, smiled happily, and looked at the two with her big watery eyes, not noticing the book beside them.
Tulamelin: "My brother and sister went to the shopping street to play duck?"
Sisyphus: "To be precise, I was in a daze there, and I was deeply baptized by cute things. β
Murty Face chimed in: "Yes, the baptism of cute things. β
Tulamelin's puzzled expression once again brought the two back to what they had just felt, but this time they didn't keep indulging.
Tulameline looked at the two of them and smirked and said, "Heh... Heh, sounds interesting. β
Teacher Metatra first brought out a pot of soup, then a pot of rice, and looked at the two of them in a drunken state of life.
Metatra: "What's wrong with them?"
Tulameline: "Probably baptized by cute things. β
Metatra: "What's it? It's time to eat." β
Teacher Metatra sat down next to Tulameline and placed the bowls and chopsticks for everyone, and the two of them reacted.
Murtyface: "I can't help it!" Murtilface went to serve the meal first and then gulped down.
Sisyphus first looked at Murtyface eating, and said shyly, "You're welcome." "Eat in big bites.
Tulameline and Metatra smiled at each other and moved their chopsticks.
ββββββ Dividing Lineββββββ
After the soup was full, Sisyphus touched his already eaten stomach and said to Murthyus: "I am full, it just so happens that the teacher is also there, maybe there are some places in it, we can ask the teacher if we don't understand." β
Murty Fes replied, picked up the book next to him and continued to flip through it, the words inside were completely modern.
"Leviathan, the king of the sea created by the creator god Jeshenghua, the overlord of the water, it dominates the sea, no one can control him, warriors, gods must submit to it before it. β
The first page reads these, along with a picture of a creature resembling a giant serpent with horns on its head, biting its own tail.
Murtilface continued to turn the second page, Sisyphus continued to listen, watching Metatra's reaction, she seemed to be thinking about some girlish dream, and Tulameline's expression looked uneasy.
"The first phenomenon when it comes out, the sea water will boil because it opens its mouth, the ocean will stir up layers of huge waves because of its slight fluttering wings, the continent will move because of its tail swing, its body is not blood, but venom, once the Leviathan is hit and poisonous, the surrounding hundreds of kilometers of the ocean will be polluted, and any creature that is touched by the Leviathan's venom will lose its original nature and become fierce and brutal. β
Murty Face flipped to the third page.
"Can you catch Leviathan with a hook, can you press down his tongue with a rope? Can you put a rope through his nose, and can you put a hook through his cheekbones? Shall he plead with thee again and again, and speak gentle words? Will you make a covenant with you, that you may take him as a slave for ever? Shall you play with him like a bird? Shall thou bind thy young daughter to him? Shall a fisherman who is with him take him as a merchant, or may he give him to the merchants? Can you pierce his skin with a barb gun, and fill his head with a harpoon? If you lay your hands on him and want to fight against him, do it no more. In vain did anyone hope to take him. When you see him, will you not be afraid? No one so fierce would dare to mess with him. I cannot be silent about the Leviathan's limbs, and its strength, and its good bones. Who can strip him of his coat. Who can go between his upper and lower teeth? Who can open his cheeks? His teeth are terrible on all sides. He boasted of his sturdy scales, joined and closed, and sealed tightly. The scales were connected one by one, and even breath could not penetrate them. They are all connected to each other and cemented and cannot be separated. And when he sneezed, he gave light to him. His eyes were like the morning light. From his mouth came burning torches and flying sparks. Smoke came from his nostrils, like a boiling pot and a lit reed. His breath lit coals, and flames came out of his mouth. There was strength in his neck, and everything in front of him jumped with fear. The pieces of his flesh are connected to each other, clinging to his body, and cannot be shaken. His heart is as solid as a stone, like a millstone. When he came with him, the warriors were terrified. and their hearts were troubled, and they were all unconscious. It is useless for a man to pierce him with a knife, or with a spear, or with a javelin, or with a sharp spear. He made iron hay and brass wood. Arrows cannot intimidate him into fleeing, and stones are crumbling in his sight. Sticks are counted as crops. He scoffed at the sound of a short gun. His belly was like a pointed tile. He walked through the mud like a nail rake. He makes the deep boil like a pot, and the ocean like oil in a pot. Then his path glowed like a gray hair. There is no fearlessness on earth as he made it. He despised every tall man, and he reigned over the proud waters. β
