"Romance of the Gods" and "Journey to the West" are in the same vein, mutual reference and mutual evidence, they must be read together, I didn't watch "Romance of the Gods" when I watched "Journey to the West" before, and I didn't watch "Journey to the West" when I watched "Romance of the Gods", so there are many characters and allusions that have been interrupted, but when you look at them together, it is not abrupt at all. In terms of the age of the story, "Romance of the Gods" comes first, "Journey to the West" comes later, but in terms of the age of the characters written, it is reversed - but, from the plot point of view, it is "Journey to the West" that explains "The Gods of the List", and the puzzles of reading "Journey to the West" before are all solved in "Romance of the Gods".

There is no doubt that the Western religion in "The Romance of the Gods" is Buddhism, how to prove it?
There are not many Western sects in "The Romance of the Gods", but the strength of the two sect masters, the quasi-Daoist and the Daoist, is at the level of Yuan Shi Tianzun. Although from the vast majority of perspectives, the West can only teach it Buddhism, but the credible proof still has to be found in books.

Daxian is barefoot with jujube and pear fragrance, and the foot stepping on auspicious clouds is more abnormal;
The twelve lotus platforms perform magic weapons, and there is white light on the edge of the Eight Virtues Pool.
Shou Tongtian's words are not false, and Fubi Hongbo is crazy;
Cultivating the name of the relics, and the bliss of leisure is the West.
It is said that Lao Tzu and Yuan Shi greeted the introduction, put up the reed canopy, played the head, and sat down.
The seventh chapter of "Journey to the West" describes Rulai:
I saw the barefoot immortal coming again. After bowing to the Jade Emperor, he thanked the Buddha again: "Feel the mana deeply and subdue the demon monkey." There is nothing to pay respect, two pears and several jujubes are offered. The poem says:
Daxian barefoot jujube pear fragrance, dedicated to Mida longevity.
Qibao Lotus Terrace Mountain is stable, and the golden flower seat is like brocade makeup.
Shou Tongtian's words are not false, and Fubi Hongbo's words are crazy.
Fushou as scheduled is really a one, leisure and bliss that West.
Ironclad evidence: The guide in "The Romance of the Gods" is the Buddha thousands of years later.
2. Who is the Bodhi Ancestor?
Sun Wukong's master, Bodhi Ancestor is a very remarkable character. Sun Wukong is nothing more than a monkey born of the aura of heaven and earth, although such a monkey has some special abilities, it is not a minority in the world, and later the Yin Si God came to hook it, which is the proof. However, Sun Wukong has been cultivating with Bodhi Ancestor for 20 years, and he can make trouble in the Heavenly Palace, which is higher than the heavenly martial arts and supernatural powers that have been achieved in "Romance of the Gods" thousands of years ago, and is on par with Erlang Xiansheng Zhenjun Yang Jian. I want to come to the level of the Bodhi Patriarch is no less than that of the Sanqing Dao Ancestor and the Western Rulai (in fact, the guidance level of the Yuan Shi Tianzun is not very good, and the apprentices under him have been practicing for thousands of years, if they have a little ability like Guangchengzi and Chi Jingzi, it is okay, especially Shen Gongbao, the great immortal who has practiced for thousands of years is not as good as Yang Jian, and he can go to the wall and die. And Yang Jian is just an apprentice of Yuding Zhenren, Yuding Zhenren and Shen Gongbao's generation, so it can be seen that the choice of mentor is either Bodhi Ancestor or Yuding Zhenren; What is especially terrifying is that Sun Wukong is just a disciple of the word "enlightenment", and he is the tenth generation in the order of "the vast wisdom is really like the sea of sex and the enlightenment of Yuanjue", so the power of the Bodhi ancestor is faintly fighting with the Buddha of the West.
Judging from the name and residence of the Bodhi Ancestor and the order of the disciples of "The Vast Wisdom is True as Sex Haiying Enlightenment", we can guess that his exercises are Buddhism and Taoism, but they are mainly in the same line of Buddhism. The proof is as follows: if he is from the Daomen, he is an earth immortal if he does not ascend to heaven, and he must be restricted by the ancestor of the earth immortal, Zhen Yuanzi, but although Zhen Yuanzi feels good about himself and is angry, he can't help Sun Wukong when he uses all his mana; No matter how you cause trouble, you are not allowed to say that you are my apprentice. If you say half a word, I will know it, peel the skin and file the bones of your, reduce the soul to the nine shadows, and teach you not to turn over in ten thousand catastrophes!"
Obviously, the level of Bodhi Ancestor is much higher than that of Zhenyuan Daxian, and looking at the world, perhaps only the Buddha can compete.
Who is the Bodhi Ancestor? The answer is already forthcoming. In the Western religion in "The Romance of the Gods", the Taoist is the Buddha, and the other one is the true body of the Bodhi ancestor, the master of the Monkey King - the quasi-Taoist. Whether this person has magical powers or means, he is the same as the Buddha, and there is ironclad evidence as follows:

Manjushri Guangfa Tianzun heard someone shouting behind his head: "Brother Dao leaves people under the sword!" Guangfa Tianzun looked back, and couldn't recognize who this person was; his head was tied in a bun, he was wearing a Taoist robe, and his face was yellow and slightly bearded, and the Taoist said: "It's a good one!" Guangfa Tianzun replied, saying: "Where are the Taoist friends, and what do you have to see?" The Taoist said: "It turns out that the Taoist brother can't recognize me, and I will know everything if I say it."
The Great Awakening Golden Immortal is the only time. Bodhi, the ancestor of the Western Mystic Law;
The three or three elements are immortal, full of energy, all gods, and all compassion.
Emptiness naturally changes, as nature does;
With the solemn body of the same life as the sky, the first division of the heart of the world. ”
The Taoist said: "The poor Tao is the quasi-Taoist under the Western teaching." ”

I saw that the Bodhi patriarch was sitting on the platform, and there were thirty little immortals standing under the stage on both sides. Sure enough:
Dajue Jin Xian has no dirty posture, and the Western Miao Xiang Ancestor Bodhi;
The three or three elements are immortal, full of energy, all gods, and all compassion.
Emptiness naturally changes, as nature does;
With the solemn body of the same life as the sky, the first division of the heart of the world.
It's the same poem again, describing the Zhun Ti Daoist and the Bodhi Ancestor in "Romance of the Gods" and "Journey to the West" respectively, is there any doubt about this?
3. Who is land pressure?
Lu Jian is a terrible character in "The Romance of the Gods", he can turn into a rainbow when he sees a bad situation, he is not afraid of Zhao Gongming's golden scissors, he is not afraid of the five-color divine light of the Peacock Ming King, and a baby gourd is even more to kill gods and ghosts. Who is he? Still looking for clues from the book.
A dwarf man, wearing a fishtail crown, a big red robe, and a long beard in different phases, came to compose a song:
"Visit Xuanzhen in the depths of the haze, sit on the sand and wash the phantom dust;
Seven emotions and six desires are exhausted, and the fame is wasted.
Let yourself be free and idle, looking for wild fish and fishing;
Looking for poets to chant together, music Tao Tao is not a good thing. ”
Zhao Gongming couldn't recognize it, and asked: "Who is the Taoist who came?" Lu Jian said: "Zhao Gongming! You don't even recognize me, and I am neither an immortal nor a saint, you listen to me:
Sex is like floating clouds, meaning like wind, drifting all over the world and uncertain;
Or watch the moon in the East, or ride the dragon in the South China Sea.
The tigers and leopards of the three mountains are all ridden, and the five mountains and Qingluan are from the feet;
is not rich or rich, and there is no name in the Jade Void Palace.
Xuandu Guanli peach thousand trees, self-discretion three I go:
I like to invite the chess game to the mystic, and sit on the mountain to listen to the deer's singing.
The idle poems are shocking, and the temperament of the Yao Qin music is quiet;
I don't know the high name and the empty effort, I am here to be absolutely clear.
The poor road is the West Kunlun scattered people and the land pressure is also. ”
He didn't know that land pressure was the treasure of fire, the essence of detachment from the earth, and the spirit of samadhi. The three fires are gathered, and they are in one family, how can they be so bad as this person. Lu Jian was burned three times for two hours, and he sang in the fire, and the song said:
The Suiren once refined the fire in the yin, and the samadhi was saved with deep intentions.
The flames are burning in the air, why bother with it?
The treasure in the fire, the spirit from the earth, the spirit of Samadhi, worthy of this name, I am afraid that there are only three lamps and the sun in the heaven and earth, first of all, three lights: Bajing Palace Lamp, Vulture Palace Lamp and Jade Void Palace Lamp, but the lamp of the Vulture Palace has become Ma Shan, and it can't be killed, but it can't be killed, but the martial arts and spells are very bad, and the elegant and free and easy of land pressure is not the same grade.
What is the sun? Hou Yi shot the sun and shot nine golden crows, leaving only one, land pressure, presser, and crow. The land pressure is more likely to be the condensation of the Golden Crow's aura.
Coincidentally, there is a mysterious Wuchao Zen master in "Journey to the West", who can't go to the village or store, but his mana is so strong that even Sun Wukong can't do anything to him.
The three people entered the west road, and there was a stable month. After passing through the Wusi Tibetan boundary, I suddenly looked up and saw a high mountain. Sanzang stopped whipping and said: "Wukong, Wuneng, the mountain is high in front, you must be careful, careful." Bajie said: "It's okay." This mountain is called Futu Mountain, there is a Wuchao Zen master in the mountain, who practices here, and the old pig has also met him. Sanzang said: "What is he doing?"
Bajie said: "He also has some Taoism. He advised me to practice with him, but I didn't go. The master and apprentice were talking, and after a while, they arrived on the mountain. But see that: there are green pines and cypresses in the south of the mountain, and green willows and red peaches in the north of the mountain. Noisy, mountain fowl talking, dancing, cranes flying. Fragrant and fragrant, flowers of a thousand colors, green and green, weeds are strange. There is surging green water under the stream, and there are auspicious clouds in front of the cliff. It's really a very elegant place, and there are no people to see. The master was watching from afar on the horse, and saw a nest of wood and grass in front of the cypress tree. On the left there is an elk flower, and on the right there is a mountain monkey offering fruit. At the top of the treetops, there are green luans and colorful phoenixes, and the cranes and brocade chickens are salty. Bahuan said: "That's not Wuchao Zen Master!" Sanzang whipped his horse until he was under the tree.
The Zen master turned into golden light and walked away on the black nest. The elder bowed up and thanked him, and the walker was furious in his heart, and raised his iron rod to look at the mess, only to see that the lotus flower was born ten thousand, and the auspicious mist protected a thousand layers. Even if the walker has the power to stir up the sea and turn the river, he doesn't want to hold a wisp of vine in the black nest.
Carefully compare Lu Quan's poems and this description of the scenery, is it familiar?
4. The changes of the Heavenly Palace
The water in the Heavenly Palace is unfathomable, judging from the way of learning scriptures, there are countless people who can deal with Sun Wukong, and even Taiyi Zhenren's mount can capture him alive in one round, so when Sun Monkey makes trouble, what did these cattle do? Lao Jun's status is equivalent to that of a consultant, judging from the performance of the green cow spirit later, Lao Jun didn't need much effort to get Sun Wukong, but he also chose not to act when he was making trouble in the Heavenly Palace, why is this? Why is all this?
In my opinion, this matter should be traced back to the roots, starting from the era of the gods. Why is there a god of the gods? There is an answer in the book "The Romance of the Gods": Haotian God ordered the first twelve immortals to be vassals - before the gods, the mechanism of the heavenly palace was very imperfect, and the Haotian God was born from chaos - or was assigned by Hongjun Ancestor, in short, Haotian God was produced, and the gods of the world were required to submit to him, and this was an inviolable number of days. As a result, the three parties of the Sect of Exposition and the Sect of the People jointly discussed the list of gods, and finally ended with the great sacrifice made by the Lingbao Tianzun, that is, the master of the Tongtian Sect. Some people in the sect were converted to the Western religion, most of them were killed and canonized as gods, and a small part of the remaining people were left to fend for themselves, and some of them became demons on the road to the west and were finally exterminated by Sun Wukong and his party. Lingbao Tianzun's self-proclaimed god was beaten to the ground in a battle, the sect was destroyed, and he has been staying in the Biyou Palace and not asking about the world - here I express my attitude, I resolutely support Lingbao Tianzun, the teaching philosophy of the Tongtian Sect Master, that is, there is no class, whether the other party is a human or an animal or a non-living thing such as a stone, he is willing to teach and give teaching materials and guidance, and his disciples are also very successful. Acts like Yuan Shi Tianzun, which only accept humans and discriminate against animals and plants, infringe on the right to education of animals and plants, and directly cause the polarization of demons and immortals. Originally, animals and plants can also be cultivated on the right path, but since the sect was destroyed, this path has been cut off, and if you want to be recognized by the fairy world, you must cultivate hard, and then happen to be reincarnated as an adult, and then continue to cultivate, which undoubtedly pushes the grass and wood spirits to the path of demons in disguise.
Haotian God and Yaochi Golden Mother can force Yuan Shi Tianzun, Taishang Laojun and Lingbao Tianzun to make concessions, although it is a number of days, but its strength should not be underestimated, when the Antarctic Immortal Weng in the "Fengshen List" went to borrow the Juxian Flag, he specially changed his court clothes, kneeling and did not dare to look up, it can be seen that the heavenly palace before the god and the early stage of the god is forbidden by order, and it is resolute. The full name of this Haotian Emperor is the Supreme Jade Emperor God of Haotian Jinque, and he is the head of the four emperors in the Taoist Sutra.
But please note that the Jade Emperor in "Journey to the West" is "the High Heavenly Sage and the Great Merciful Jade Emperor and the Great Heavenly Venerable Xuangao God", which is the crux of the matter, they are not the same Jade Emperor! Later, when Sun Wukong introduced himself to make trouble in the Heavenly Palace, he mentioned: "Tie up the Jade Emperor Zhang Dadi, and Cao Guan should be tortured more guilty." "It seems that the current Jade Emperor is surnamed Zhang. What was the world like under the rule of Zhang Yuhuang? Demons were rampant, and any demon monkey could force the Monkey King, and when there was a big havoc in the Heavenly Palace, no one would help, and the Buddha had to be invited...... At that time, the heavenly court established by Haotian God was only nominally controlled, and the stars wanted to go down to earth, completely ignoring the rules of heaven. So, where did this Jade Emperor Zhang Dadi come from?
After research, Zhang Yuhuang's name is Zhang Bairen, who was originally the owner of a cottage, and later Tai Baixing went down to the emperor to elect the emperor, and saw that his cottage was well governed, so he pulled to the sky and became the Jade Emperor. At this point, we can outline the situation at that time: after the battle of Shang and Zhou, Haotian God felt that everything was ready, the gods were sealed, and the immortals were also served, and there was no challenge to do it himself, so it was better to go to the thirty-three days away to enjoy the happiness, so he ordered the Tai Baixing to go down to the earth to choose the emperor, so he chose this Zhang Bairen. This also explains why the Jade Emperor had so many relatives and so many daughters - I think there are two things that need to be sacrificed to become an immortal: 1) the right to procreate, and 2) the right to grow old. Because if you can give birth after becoming an immortal, then now the whole world is the descendant of immortals, anyway, immortals are immortal, and the immortals after giving birth must also be immortal, and in the long run, the heavenly palace will inevitably be crowded, but now we don't see that the world is full of immortals, so immortals can't give birth. In the same way, according to our observations, the appearance of becoming an immortal is a snapshot of the moment from a human to an immortal, and it is still from nowhere. If you were an old man when you became an immortal, then basically you would be an old man from now on until the extinction of heaven and earth, and if you were lucky, like Nezha, you would become a lotus incarnation as a child, then you would be so big from now on. This can also explain why immortals can't have children, because the little immortals born can't grow up, so the heavenly palace will inevitably become a sea of baby immortals.
Therefore, the Jade Emperor Zhang Dadi is also pitiful, the stars in the sky recommended him as the lifelong Jade Emperor because he is weak, and he has no mana, so he can act cheaply. You see the two people who Emperor Zhang Yu punished ruthlessly: Marshal Tianpeng and General Rolling Blind, both of whom are juniors, and as for the descendants of Yuan Shi Tianzun and Lao Tzu, such as Taiyi Zhenren and others, they didn't bother to pay attention to him at all. Even the three generations of disciples in Erlang God, who are in the gods, can "disown the heavenly family with a high heart", which shows how much this Jade Emperor deserves. This is also the reason why when Sun Wukong made trouble in the Heavenly Palace, many masters stood by and watched, waiting to see the Jade Emperor's appearance.
5. Doubts such as coming
At the same time that God Haotian handed over power to Zhang Yuhuang, what was our ancestor of the world, Taishang Li Laojun, doing? It is said that Li Laojun went down to earth and was reincarnated into Li's mother's arms, and it took a full 81 years of pregnancy before he opened a hole in Li's mother's armpit and gave birth. It seems that Lao Jun is Lao Jun in the end, and he doesn't bother to enter and exit through the door of Xuanmu at all, unlike Jesus who was born as a normal person. This is the origin of Lao Jun's self-proclaimed "white head before leaving his mother's womb, and only then has he reached the full breath of God". First of all, he ordered Confucius a little, and then left the Central Plains, rode the green ox west to the valley to India, and turned the Hu people into Hu people.
In the era of the gods, in the Zhuxian array, Lingbao Tianzun's eldest disciple Duobao Daoren tried in vain to single out Lao Tzu, and was captured by Lao Tzu with a wind and fire futon and sent to the Bajing Palace to listen to the fate, and since then there are no more deeds of Duobao Daoist in the book. Where the hell did he go? Guangchengzi and Duobao Daoist had a big battle, and the description in the book is, "One is the immortal body of Guangcheng, and the other is the Duobao Western worship Shakya", and the Duobao Western worship Shakya! And the Duobao Dao people were sent to the residence of Li Laojun in the Bajing Palace, and Laojun was the one who turned into a beard......
The answer is already coming out: the Buddha of Li Laojun is a Duobao Taoist. Lao Jun ordered Duobao to be reincarnated as the prince of the King of Pure Rice, and later enlightened him to become a Buddha. Shakyamuni is also a person of many treasures. The Great Snow Mountain Eagle Palace Burning Lamp Daoist is the later Burning Lamp Ancient Buddha, and his status in the gods is higher than the twelve disciples of the Interpretation Teaching, and the Twelve Disciples of the Interpretation Sect and the Duobao Equals, so it is natural for the Buddha to respect the Burning Lamp and a teacher. And the Buddha is also a golden body of Zhangliu cultivated in the Great Snow Mountain, which naturally got the guidance of the lamp.
Let's pay attention to the two animals related to Rulai, the peacock and the roc. Peacock is Kong Xuan in "Fengshen List", and he is also the Buddha Mother Daming King Bodhisattva in "Journey to the West". This is ironclad evidence, in the "Fengshen List", it has been pointed out: "I saw the quasi-Daoist shaking his body and shouting: 'Daoist friends are coming!' There is another Peacock King in mid-air." "This is the peacock that is allowed to be subdued. And he can also merge with the peacock to form a dharma body with thirty-four heads and eighteen hands. The Tongtian Sect Master was defeated by Zhun Ti's decisive blow both times, which shows that the power is extraordinary. It was this peacock, and later at the critical moment when Duobao became a Buddha, he almost ate Duobao, but fortunately Duobao was enough to be a cow, and he came out again after cutting his backbone, and then saw that he did not hurt the peacock in the face of Zhun Ti, but because of such a fate, he made it a peacock King Bodhisattva. As for the Dapeng Golden-winged Eagle, I tend to think that the winged fairy in "Romance of the Gods" is not the majestic demon of the Lion Camel Country in "Journey to the West", whether in terms of mana or intelligence, they are too far apart. Moreover, the most obvious conflict of fact is in "Romance of the Gods", Feather Winged Fairy and Kong Xuan have fought, and Feather Winged Fairy is defeated. If they are really sisters and brothers, why do they still fight each other if they don't know each other? And the strength is very different.
There is also a theory that the Winged Fairy is the Bai Xiong Venerable who was sent to pull the burden and scatter the scriptures on the ground at the end of "Journey to the West", so that the scripture learning team could find the wordless scriptures, but unfortunately, there is no evidence in the book that the Bai Xiong Venerable is an eagle, eagle or the like, although you think it is, I think it is, everyone thinks it is like ...... However, on the other hand, it can also be said that there is no evidence that Venerable Bai Xiong is not a winged immortal.
So, we can now answer most of the questions about Nyorai: Shakyamuni is the name of the reincarnated people of the Duobao Dao, which is later known as the Nyorai. He was enlightened by Taishang Laojun, and many stars in the Heavenly Palace used to be brothers or uncles, so they had a close relationship. The Jade Emperor also realized this, so he subconsciously thought of the Buddha when the Heavenly Palace encountered a crisis.
In fact, there is an obvious measure between Rulai's mana and Taishang Laojun, that is, the green cow essence. At that time, it was difficult for the gods of the whole world to subdue the green bull spirit, Sun Wukong went straight to the west and sued Rulai, who heard the Three Realms with his eyes and naturally knew everything, but he just didn't tell Sun Wukong, saying: "Although I know about that monster, I can't tell you." You monkey has an open mouth, and as soon as I preach to him, he will not fight with you, but will shout to the spiritual mountain, and he will bring disaster to me. "If the Buddha is in the whole "Journey to the West", except for this moment, it is the image of boundless mana, and the characters who can subdue Dapeng with one finger, how can they be afraid of the green bull essence? However, I also doubt that Rulai can get the diamond bracelet, Lao Jun said that it is his treasure of turning into a beard, presumably it is just right for Rulai?
How did you do it? Rulai sent eighteen Arhats to bring emery to subdue demons, and they were also put into it by the diamond bracelet. Later, the two Arhats who subdued the dragon and the tiger whispered to Sun Wukong that if the emery did not work, he would go to find Taishang Li Laojun thirty-three days away to solve this problem. Therefore, Rulai is not a character at the same level as the ancestor of Sanqing Dao, he should be a generation lower, and Doumu Yuanjun (that is, the Holy Mother of Jin Ling in "The Romance of the Gods"), Emperor Qinghua (that is, Taiyi Zhenren) and Guanyin Bodhisattva (Cihang Daoren in "The Romance of the Gods"), Manjushri Bodhisattva (Manjushri Guangfa Tianzun in "The Romance of the Gods"), and Fuxian Bodhisattva (Fuxian Zhenren in "The Romance of the Gods") are the same generation. Guanyin was originally the attendant of Amitabha Buddha, the ancestor of all Buddhas (that is, the guide in "The Romance of the Gods", and later the Buddha), and was not under the jurisdiction of the Buddha - in "Journey to the West" we can see that there is a kind of mutual respect and politeness between Guanyin and the local administrative head, and there is no relationship between them who directly governs whom and who orders whom.
6, Monkey King's force
The main reason why Sun Wukong behaved generally on the way to learn scriptures was that he wanted to protect people, which was essentially different from the Heavenly Palace. When he was in the Heavenly Palace, he could come and go freely with the somersault cloud, pointing to the guerrilla attacks from east to west, and no one could do anything about him. But it is much more difficult to protect a mortal Tang Seng with the naked eye, unless he can have an overwhelming attack advantage, such as against the flower skin leopard spirit, he can kill the monster. As long as the monster can fight against Sun Wukong without defeat, even if it is at a disadvantage, such as Red Child, or although the strength is relatively weak, but underwater, such as the goldfish essence of Tongtian River, Sun Wukong has no good way, and in the end he still has to ask someone or a baby to subdue him. Because "saving people" and "making a fuss" are two completely different concepts.
There are not many big monsters that have been experienced on the way to learn the scriptures, and the order of strength is roughly as follows:

Nine Lions (Yuhua Kingdom)
Six-eared macaque (Huaguo Mountain)
Green Cow Essence (Jindoudong)
Bull Demon King (Flaming Mountain)
Hydra (Sai Sai Country)
These monsters, even if they are encountered by Sun Wukong during the Havoc in the Heavenly Palace, they will not be able to take advantage of them. Dapeng spreads his wings for 90,000 miles, and spreading his wings twice is obviously much faster than turning a heel, so even Sun's tried and tested magic weapon - somersault cloud did not work, and was caught by it and put in the two cylinders of yin and yang, if it were not for the three life-saving hairs given to him by Guanyin Bodhisattva, he would almost lose his life. In fact, in the battle of Lion Camel Ridge, Sun Wukong had several uniques: in the Yin and Yang two cylinders, he cried because he was afraid of death, and later he cried aggrievedly in front of the Buddha because he couldn't beat the monster......
Dapeng and Peacock were born of Phoenix, so Dapeng's strength and Peacock, that is, Kong Xuan's strength in "Fengshen List" should be at the same level. Kong Xuan only took refuge when Zhun Ti came, and Dapeng was a Duobao Daoist who became a Buddha and could be subdued, which was not something that Erlang God and Sun Wukong could deal with, so the level of Dapeng's reference system was too high to reflect how Sun Wukong was. To be honest in this paragraph, I feel very disappointed in the TV series, even in the new version, the Dapeng bird in it is almost the head of a black hemp eagle, and it does not have the spirit of a congenital spirit beast. Looking at what his brother Kong Xuan said in "The Romance of the Gods", Dapeng should also perform such a momentum: "Chaos was born at the beginning of Kaiwu, and Liangyi Taiji was searched; ”
The nine-headed lion is known as the Nine Spirits Yuan Sage, and it may have been subdued by Taiyi Zhenren in the Ten Thousand Immortal Array of the Divine Era, because it is not stated in the two books, so it can only be doubted. However, this battle has always been thought to be very watery, because the big white elephant with the lion camel bell can also roll up Sun Wukong - it seems that Sun Wukong never cares about being captured by life, because he himself is King Kong is not bad plus seventy-two changes, and it is easy to escape. Therefore, this battle seems to be suspected of releasing water, and later the Nine Spirits Yuan Sage could not help Sun Wukong, and this battle cannot represent Sun's true level.
The six-eared macaque is almost a shadow of the Monkey King, and according to Rulai, there are four types of monkeys that are not among the ten types of creatures: the Reimei stone monkey, the Akajiri horse monkey, the gibbon monkey, and the six-eared macaque. Among them, the Lingming Stone Monkey basically refers to the Monkey King, "through change, knowing the sky, knowing the place, moving the stars and changing the fight". The second and third are Marshal Ma Liuer and General Bangba under Sun Wukong when he was in Huaguo Mountain, and there is nothing to say about this. The key is the following passage: "I view the 'false Wukong' as a six-eared macaque. If this monkey stands in one place, he can know things thousands of miles away, and if anyone speaks, he can also know them, so he is good at listening to sounds, he can perceive reason, and he knows before and after, and everything is clear. Those who are like and have the same sound as the real Wukong, and the six-eared macaque is also. ”
This passage provides clues not only about the origin of the fake Wukong, but also about how the six-eared macaque came about. Good at listening to the sound, knowing before and after, it shows that when the Bodhi ancestor was teaching the true Wukong, the six-eared macaques all knew and learned from each other, so they could have the same magical powers as the real Monkey King. The six-eared macaque is also a very fateful person, when gambling with Sun Wukong, there is such a description in the book: "One is a wishful golden hoop stick, and the other is a freewheeling hardcore soldier." Since the six-eared macaque is also listening to the Bodhi Ancestor's preaching, then the magic ability should be no different from that of Sun Wukong in the Heavenly Palace, that is, a copy is saved, and this copy is tied with the original, indicating that Sun Wukong's force has not changed before and after.
Qingniu Jing is my second favorite monster in the book "Journey to the West", it is the mount of Taishang Laojun, the magic weapon diamond bracelet, which can collect all things in the world. Sun Wukong can be said to be heaven and earth for him, almost regarded Jindou Cave as the Huaguo Mountain of the year, and invited Tota Li Tianwang, the third prince of Nezha, Lei Gongdian mother plus the two stars of water and fire, until the west sky sprinkled the emery of Rulai, all of which were invalid. In the end, it was Taishang Laojun who solved this problem. In fact, I am very skeptical about the motive of the green cow spirit, it has followed Lao Jun for many years, and it is already an immortal and immortal body, Tang monk meat is of no use to him, and every time Sun Wukong comes out to call the battle, he has never been impatient; Sun Wukong has no iron rod to fight, and he doesn't need a gun to accompany him to box...... just grinds people out of temper, I really can't imagine if there was no Taishang Laojun, Sun Wukong would have gone completely crazy in Jindoudong.
The Bull Demon King was Sun Wukong's eldest brother 500 years ago, and he did show the level that a big brother should have in the Battle of Flame Mountain, except for one thing that was very embarrassing - every time he was defeated by Zhu Bajie with Sun Wukong next to him, a rake was thrown around. The author writes this very purposefully, because the foursome have attributes, Sun Wukong is the golden father, Zhu Bajie is the wood mother, and the old cow belongs to the earth, and the wood is the earth, so Zhu Bajie can always take advantage of the old cow every time. If there is a gap between Lao Niu and Sun Wukong, then at most it is equivalent to the gap between Sun Wukong and Erlang God, because these two pairs even have the same way of gambling and fighting, Lao Niu will also change seventy-two times, and Sun Wukong and it will change and eat each other. Just like Erlang God did when he surrounded and suppressed Sun Wukong. Later, Nezha went down to earth and burned the old cow with fire, which shows a truth, the monster without the incorruptible body of King Kong, no matter how powerful it seems, is always easy to be caught by the door. If Lao Niu is replaced by Sun Wukong, not to mention the true fire of Samadhi, it is the Tushi fire in Laojun's furnace, and it is easy to do nothing with monkeys. According to Sun Wukong. 500 years ago, everyone's level was about the same, now 500 years later, the level is still the same, with the growth of cultivation time, the Bull Demon King is obviously only possible to progress, then Sun Wukong should be the same, at least the level is unchanged, and there is no significant difference from the time when he was in the Heavenly Palace.
The reference value of the hydra is that it was captured by Erlang God and Sun Wukong together. What did Erlang God use to get the hydra? It's a roaring dog, and it's also the one that broke the balance when he captured Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong and Erlang God were tied, Erlang God and Roaring Sky Dog narrowly defeated Sun Wukong, and Sun Wukong and Nine-Headed Worm also fought for 30 rounds without a win...... Based on the above relationship, the martial arts level of the nine-headed insect is similar to that of Sun Wukong back then, but it is also depressing that it does not have the incorruptible body of King Kong, so it bites off a head as soon as it is bitten by the roaring dog......
Let's talk about the gold content of the battle of Huaguo Mountain, in fact, the battle of Huaguo Mountain, in which Sun Wukong blocked 100,000 heavenly soldiers, is very doubtful. The most obvious example of this is the boss of Lion Camel Ridge, the Lion Spirit who has done something similar. At that year, the Queen Mother Niang Pan Tao Conference, did not invite the lion spirit, the lion spirit was not satisfied, to fight for the sky, the Jade Emperor sent 100,000 heavenly soldiers to surrender, it showed its original body, bluffed the heavenly soldiers did not dare to fight, closed the South Heavenly Gate. The level of the lion spirit is recognized to be slightly lower than that of Sun Wukong, and even it can be so majestic in front of 100,000 heavenly soldiers, Sun Wukong does the same thing, what is abnormal?
7. The competition of giants
There is one of the most fundamental mysteries that has not been touched on before, that is, why is there a journey to the west to learn the scriptures? Is it really as simple as the Buddha said, and he is unwilling to give the scriptures to the world easily, so he must take the scriptures and go through hardships to obtain them? In the teachings of Theravada Buddhism, Shakyamuni is the only Buddha, the most complete enlightened one, and the most lofty status. However, in the Mahayana Buddhist teachings taken by Tang monks, Shakya Buddha is only one of the "Ganges Sand Buddhas", and his status is greatly reduced, how can he voluntarily spread Mahayana teachings?
The root cause also starts from the list of gods, the battle of the gods at the turn of the Shang and Zhou dynasties was a battle between the exposition of religion and the Western religion to exterminate the sect, and from then on the three major realms of the heavenly palace, the underworld and the Western Elysium. In this battle, Lingbao Tianzun, that is, the faction of the Tongtian Sect Master in the human world, was completely wiped out, leaving only some scattered demon immortals hiding around the world to cultivate, among which the best ones were the Bull Demon King and others. It was also from this time that the exposition of Buddhism - that is, Taoism in the later world, and Western religion - that is, later Buddhism was in the honeymoon period, after consultation with the two Western masters, Lao Jun was reincarnated into Li Er, sent a letter to Guguan in the west, and turned the Duobao Taoist into the Buddha, creating the Taoist system of Buddhism in the world, which is now called Southern Buddhism, that is, Hinayana Buddhism.
Why didn't Lao Jun turn his disciples into Buddhas, and the disciples of the Tongtian Sect Master into Buddhas? This is precisely where Lao Jun's genius lies. If a Taoist Tianzun is ignited, such as Taiyi Zhenren becoming a Buddha, then the two Western leaders must disagree, because Taiyi Zhenren is the descendant of Yuan Shi Tianzun, and in this way, Buddhism will inevitably become a vassal of Taoism in the world. And by Lao Jun, a relatively neutral and peaceful person, Dianhua Duobao, a person who is somewhat mustard with the head of Taoism, Yuan Shi Tianzun, becomes a Buddha, is a compromise that Lao Jun, Yuan Shi Tianzun and the two Western sect leaders can accept: for Lao Jun, his status is transcendent, although he is slightly biased towards Taoism, but on the whole, he will not be as obvious as his junior brother Yuan Shi Tianzun. For Yuan Shi Tianzun, although Duobao and him are not in harmony, there is a hatred of bullying teachers and destroying ancestors, but first of all, there is Laojun in town, and Duobao does not dare to be presumptuous, and secondly, after all, the exposition and interception of religion are the Taoist system handed down by Hongjun's ancestors, and there is some incense. The two sect masters in the West accepted a lot of apprentices in the battle of the gods, and it was not good to directly tear the face with Yuan Shi Tianzun to rob the believers, so it was also a good result for Duobao to preach instead of them. In this way, Shakyamuni was born in India under the compromise of the three major forces.
There are no eternal friends, only eternal interests.
After experiencing the honeymoon period of the confluence of Buddhism and Taoism in the Eastern Han Dynasty and even the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the former comrades-in-arms finally inevitably had a rift. At this time, Buddhism was no longer what it used to be, and the generalissimo of the Heavenly Court, King Tota Li, had accepted the Buddhist recruitment and was named the protector of the Heavenly King of Bishamen. Four hundred and eighty temples in the Southern Dynasties, how many buildings in the smoke and rain, the spread of Buddhism in the south of the Yangtze River has reached the pinnacle, Amitabha Buddha is to ignite an eel essence to make the emperor of Southern Liang, is for Liang Wu Emperor Xiao Yan. At this time, Taoism was already disheartened, scattered, so Taishang Laojun went down to earth again, following Zhang Daoling Zhang Tianshi, and awarded the position of Heavenly Master of Kou Qian of the Northern Dynasty, so that he could purge Taoism in the north to balance the thriving Buddhist forces in the south.
However, history is changed here by the little people. Kou Qianzhi misunderstood Laojun's way of balance, thinking that Laojun's original intention was to prosper the Tao and destroy the monks, so under his promotion, Emperor Taiwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty Tuoba Tao began a cruel campaign to exterminate Buddhism, and the struggle between Buddhism and Taoism entered the white-hot stage from the dark war, countless monks and nuns were killed, countless Buddhist scriptures were burned, and the entire Northern Wei Dynasty became a large cemetery for Buddhists. The campaign to exterminate Buddhism with "three martial arts and one sect" finally kicked off. In this tragic battle for the Taoist system in the world, Lao Jun, Yuan Shi and Amitabha Buddha competed in three ways, constantly igniting their subordinates and even mountain spirits and tree monsters to descend to the emperor's house. Therefore, we often see such a situation during the period of the Northern and Southern Dynasties: the father is the cadre who destroys the Buddha and respects the Tao, but the son is the pioneer of destroying the Tao and rejuvenating the monks...... And so on. The city changed the banner of the king, but it is a pity that these believers in the world have become sacrifices on the altar.
The temporary end of this battle ended with Lao Jun's descent again. The Tang Dynasty is surnamed Li, and it is the same clan of Laojun in the world, and the heavenly court made great efforts during the establishment of the Li and Tang dynasties, like Qin Qiong, that is, Marshal Tianpeng went down to earth, please refer to "Romance of the Tang Dynasty" for details. Amitabha Buddha still wants to sell Lao Jun a little face, but in exchange, Lao Jun and Yuan Shi also agreed that Amitabha Buddha can directly go down to earth to preach from now on. And to let Amitabha Buddha go down directly to earth, you need to have a theory to pave the way, to tell the world that Amitabha Buddha is the master of all Buddhas, such as a small role, and these theories are Mahayana classics, and they are also the scriptures that Tang Seng needs to take. It is conceivable how reluctant Duobao Daoist people are to promote the so-called Mahayana scriptures, which is equivalent to slapping themselves, but there is no way, under the double pressure of Amitabha Buddha and Laojun, he had to allow Amitabha Buddha to send a commissioner, Guanyin, to the Eastern Tang Dynasty to find someone to learn the scriptures.
There are two flowers, one on each branch. Let's talk about the power struggle within Buddhism. It is said that Amitabha Buddha squeezed out the Zhun Ti Daoist and became the master of all Buddhas, Zhun Ti ran to the Sanxing Cave of Xieyue Mountain depressedly and opened a small mountain gate, and happened to meet Sun Wukong again. "Journey to the West" records that when Bodhi Ancestor knew that Sun Wukong was a natural stone monkey, he was secretly happy, what was he secretly happy about? Because he knew that this was an opportunity for him to regain the power of Buddhism and fight against Amitabha Buddha. So he patiently taught Sun Wukong and strictly warned him not to say who his master was (for fear of spreading the word, the plan would fail). Later things turned out to be as he expected, Sun Wukong made trouble in the heavenly palace, was suppressed by Duobao, and then was selected by Guanyin Bodhisattva as the great apprentice of the scripture learner, as long as Sun Wukong became a Buddha in the west, Zhun Ti could come forward to interfere in the affairs of Buddhism in a grand manner, so as to gradually take back the power of the Buddhist leader in the world. Although all this can't be hidden from Amitabha, Amitabha doesn't care, because it's normal for a frustrated person to open a mountain gate to relax, it's best not to force him to be anxious and tear his face is not beautiful.
For this matter, Taishang Laojun and Yuan Shi Tianzun naturally also understand, but Laojun is in charge of the Avenue of Heaven and Man, with balance as the first priority, and naturally hopes that Buddhism will not be too big, so not only did not stop Sun Wukong, but helped Sun Wukong practice in the gossip furnace to become a fiery eye, otherwise Lao Jun's cultivation for a thousand Sun Wukong would also be dead. Moreover, Lao Jun also has another intention in doing this, that is, to use external troubles to promote internal unity: the Heavenly Palace under the Jade Emperor is a plate of scattered sand, all because it has been idle for a long time, and now there is an incident in the Heavenly Palace, which may promote the Jade Emperor to be more tough and implement some degree of reform of the Heavenly Palace. So the scripture study group was set up under such circumstances, and the members of this group were very complex, including Sun Wukong on behalf of Zhun Ti, Tang Seng on behalf of Amitabha Buddha, and Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng on behalf of Tiangong. In fact, this group is also the result of the political wrestling of those sect leaders thirty-three days away, otherwise how could Guanyin Bodhisattva choose such a coincidence and choose such four people. Of course, there is also the White Dragon Horse, which represents the local separatist force - the Dragon King line.
But with the beginning of the scripture learning activities, Sun Wukong's series of actions attracted the attention of Amitabha Buddha and Duobao Rulai, Sun Wukong went to the heavenly palace and the earth to ask for help at every turn, the circle of people is wide, and the face is big, if he really let him learn the scriptures and become a Buddha, it is very problematic whether the position of so many treasures can be stable. So from the perspective of dealing with Sun Wukong, Duobao Rulai and Amitabha Buddha formed a united front. But Sun Wukong is a person who is quasi-mentioned and can't move directly, what should I do?
The appearance of the six-eared macaque solved this problem, and the six-eared macaque and Rulai hit it off and set a clever plan for Li Dai Taozhuang. Let's think about the chapter of "The True and False Monkey King", two Monkey Kings went to the sky and into the earth, no one could identify them, and then found the Buddha, and then one of them turned into flies, was covered by the Monkey King with a bowl, and was killed by the "Monkey King" with a stick. Who is the real Wukong? Who is the fake Wukong? The only one who has the ability to recognize is the Buddha and Amitabha Buddha's special commissioner, Guanyin, who naturally pretends to be confused and does not say, if he comes, he says that it is really fake, and if it is fake, it is true, and then secretly uses mana to turn Sun Wukong into a fly...... And then everything fell into place. So in the end, he learned the scriptures and became the one who defeated the Buddha, the six-eared macaque is also, and Sun Wukong has already become a revenant under the stick.
Two of the most obvious pieces of evidence are presented here:
1. In front of Rulai Fa Jia, "Sun Wukong" killed the "six-eared macaque" with a stick, and Rulai shouted Shanzai, expressing his unbearableness. Could it be that Rulai really wants to stop Sun Wukong, but can't stop it? Obviously, right and wrong can't do it, and it's not okay. Why not? Because Rulai wants that "six-eared macaque" to die.
2. Later, "Sun Wukong" was caught in the Yin and Yang two cylinders by Dapeng Eagle in Lion Camel Ridge, and his heels were burned soft, almost hurting his life, is this possible for the real Sun Wukong?
Zhun Ti suffered a big dumb loss at this time, and the annoyance in his heart can be imagined, and Lao Jun and Yuan Shi Tianzun continued to choose not to act, because basically this is an internal matter of Buddhism, and Amitabha Buddha and Duobao Dao people have eliminated the big trouble. However, will things be so calm? Lao Jun has achieved some results in achieving the goal of rectifying the heavenly court with the help of Sun Wukong, Fengxian County begging for rain is an example, and the Jade Emperor also knows that he is ruthless, and the smell of gunpowder in the Balkans of the Da Lei Yin Temple, where the Duobao Dao people are located, is even stronger. In the battle of the gods, the Bodhi Ancestor made two crucial blows and defeated the Tongtian Sect Master, and his strength is definitely not to be underestimated; now the only master disciple who has been taught has died in the hands of the six-eared macaque in vain, how can he give up? So the Bodhi Ancestor completely tore his face, was born in person, incarnated as the Mother of the Buddha, and passed on the "Quasi-Ti Mantra", which has been especially passed down to this day. So far, the major sect leaders, except for the relationship between Yuan Shi and Lao Tzu is still good, the others have been regarded as enemies with each other, Lao Tzu can no longer suppress everyone, and the only Hongjun ancestor who can intimidate everyone has never been seen, so the battle of Taoism in the world is gradually irreconcilable: after the Buddha Mother came out of the mountain, she immediately subverted the male inheritance of thousands of years, and also subverted the Li Tang Dynasty, established the Zhou Dynasty headed by the female Wu Zetian, and began to revive Buddhism. But not long after, after experiencing Tang Zhongzong and Tang Ruizong, Tang Xuanzong, who was reincarnated by Kong Shengzhen, once again pushed the Li Tang Dynasty and Taoism to the **, which should be said to be the result of the Heavenly Court and the Zhun Ti Fighting Method headed by the Jade Emperor. But the ensuing An Lushan Rebellion once again brought this short-lived prosperity to the bottom......
The battle for Taoism in the world finally became uncontrollable, and Song Huizong, who had descended from the Great Immortal with long eyebrows, still did not avoid the fate of the country under the protection of one hundred and eight generals of Tiangang and Earth, and was tortured to death. Heavenly Court was furious, and at this time, Rulai sent Dapeng Eagle to turn into Yue Fei, which is the well-known "Saying Yue Quanbiography".
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Amitabha Buddha appointed the reincarnation of the King of Jizo Bodhisattva, which was for Zhu Yuanzhang and the dragon flourished in Fengyang......
Buddhism and Taoism finally gradually declined in the fierce struggle, and in the Qing Dynasty, there was an emperor named Hongli, who inherited the cause of his ancestors, and did several good deeds himself, and was quite complacent, when someone suggested that he simply abolish Buddhism and Taoism, he replied:
How can the declining waves go back, and the two families can also mourn today.
Why bother to ward off evil spirits and stay in the mud of the ancients, and leave money for painting scenery and poetry.
