Chapter 67: Beast Hunting (Part II)

The hunt did not go as planned, and when a razorbeast bloodily tore at its prey, one of the crossbowmen in the militia could not control his nervousness and fired the first crossbow bolt.

The arrow pierced through the leaves and into the razormon's eye socket. I don't know if it was because of its superb archery skills or if it was crooked, but in short, this beast completely lost its combat effectiveness after being hit by an arrow, and it ran around like a wild boar, and finally crashed into the feet of the leader of the bighorn beast. The leader of the horned beasts lifted the brainless beast up like a pheasant, and then pierced its chest with a claw, pulling out the beating heart inside. The next moment, all the beastmen let out a wild roar and ran in the direction where the arrows were fired.

"Free Fire!"

Tallinnam ordered urgently.

He didn't have the authority to command the militia in the first place, but no one questioned his leadership at the moment, because there was no one here to fight the bighorns except him.

A dozen or so arrows whizzed through the trees and flew towards the beastmen. However, less than half of the arrows hit the Beastmen in the charge. Several bighorns roared and rushed over, breaking the branches along the way, lifting one of the militia crossbowmen in the front, and with a squeeze of the big thick hand, the militia crossbowman was instantly twisted off his neck and dumped in the grass like a pile of garbage.

The other bighorn beast directly crashed into the nearest shield sword militia, and the soldier's shield was knocked out of shape, and the whole person fell to the sky with blood constantly bubbling from his mouth and nose.

"Keep shooting!"

Tallinnham ordered.

But before the militia could load their arrows, the bighorns swung their mallets and stone hammers at the fragile human infantry.

Beside Tallinnam, a militiaman reloading arrows was smashed to the ground by a bighorn hammer, his helmet shattering and splitting, and red and white liquid leaking out of the shattered helmet.

Tallinnam picked up the spear beside him and plunged the head into the horned beast's chest. However, the Bighorn roared and snapped the spear off, then swung his hammer, which was larger than a human head, and swept towards Tallinnam.

Tarynham leapt out of the way, tumbling to the side, and landing on the ground, he drew his sword and stabbed it, slicing the bighorn's hamstrings with a single blow. Scarlet blood burst from the beastmen's ankles. While his opponent was screaming in pain, Tallinnham saw the opportunity, took the sword in both hands, and stabbed the beastman from behind. hacker

Seeing that his companion had been slaughtered, the bighorn beast angrily brandished its mallet and smashed it at Tallinnam.

Tallinnam dodged sideways, his hard mallet slamming into the badly wounded beastmen, only to hear the sound of bones shattering. The bighorn screamed and fell to the ground. Drawing his sword, Tallinnham angrily launched a counterattack. As Berto had taught him before, he used his hands and feet at the same time, divided by two, and jumped onto the beastman's back, and before the beastman could drag the little man off his head, Talinham had already pulled out another sword on his back, and with a fierce force with both hands, the two iron swords stabbed into the beastman's neck.

Like the bighorn beast before, the beastman beneath him let out a scream of pain, blood spurting from his neck like a fountain. In a short time, the ground beneath his feet flowed all over his feet. Tarlinham panted and jumped off the beastmen, surrounded by chaotic shouts of slaughter, mostly the militia members being slaughtered, but a few brave young soldiers surrounded the lone beastmen, hunting them with crossbows and spears.

The bloodthirsty bighorn leader quickly spotted the commander in the crowd, and Kane shouted to command his men to defend against the enemy, but just as he was in the middle of his shouting, a hand thicker than a rock grabbed his head. Kane screamed and struggled, but to no avail, he flapped his wings like a chicken in the hands of the bighorn leader, and soon the beastman leader grabbed the head and smashed it into the trunk of a nearby tree.

Suddenly, the militia captain's head was smashed to pieces, and blood and brains poured out of the shattered skull......

Just as the leader of the beastmen howled loudly, laughing at his opponent's weakness, an arrow hit him in the eye with precision, piercing the bighorn's right eye. The leader of the beastmen roared loudly and pulled out the arrow stuck in his eye socket, and the blood immediately stained his eye sockets, and even half of his face was covered in blood.

If it were a human being, such an injury would have made people faint in pain. But the Beastmen are different, they are bloodthirsty and crazy beasts, and the Great Horned Beasts belong to the high-level class of the Beastmen. The leader of the beastmen roared, and with his other moving eye, he found the human who had blinded him in his right eye.

He rushed over in a rage, like a roaring bull. Bump into everything along the way.

However, Tallinnham fought and retreated, and did not confront the leader of the beastmen head-on, he continued to draw his bow and arrows while running and retreating, and when he turned around, the arrows flew out of his fingers again, this time, the leader of the beastmen protected his face with his big hands, and the arrows only pierced the wrists of the beastmen, and the leader of the bighorns pulled the arrows from his wrists and pounced on Tallinnham angrily.

However, just before the Beastmen were about to capture Tallinnam, the trap at their feet was triggered, and the rattan nets hanging from the branches of the trees fell rapidly, trapping the bewildered Beastmen leader. He roared as he tried to get out of the annoying rattan net. But a well-placed trap can be solved in an instant. Taking advantage of this short but precious time, Tallinn Namra took aim at the other eye of the beastman leader at close range.

The arrow flew out at close range, and one shot through the Bighorn's left eye. At this point, the rampaging beastmen were completely blinded. The blood stained his entire face, making it even more terrifying and hideous.

Tallinnham fired another arrow, this one aimed at the throat of the bighorn. He coldly shot the arrow, almost standing opposite the beastman, and the arrow popped out at close range, and the arrow pierced the throat of the beastman leader. Without another roar, the beastman fell to his knees. Thick blood gushed out from the ruptured blood vessels.

The battle lasted more than half an hour, and it was not until the last beastman was impaled by several spears that the battle came to an end. The deputy captain of the militia took on the temporary role of captain, counting the number of casualties in the battle. Tallinnham rested on the trunk of a tree with a bloodied face, the sky above him gradually turning yellow, and the sun setting. He remembered the distant past, when he was the son of a farmer, a pauper in Kislev, and after all these years he had unwittingly become a knight in the eyes of the people. This was unthinkable before.
