Chapter XVII: Saving or Killing

Feng Luo thinks that there are two ways to hide himself, either to hide all traces without revealing any clues, or to show his body in a generous way.

The guards saw Feng Luo walking over with a calm expression, defenseless, and one of them even stretched out his hand: "Token?"

Feng Luo's heart moved, and he said, "The general asked, why hasn't the pass been opened yet?

The man's expression changed slightly, and he asked suspiciously, "Who are you?"

"Hmph, don't ask, just know that I'm from the Land of the Dead. Feng Luo replied in a voice that only two people could hear.

The man looked behind Feng Luo with a blank look, and said in a low voice, "Isn't Stitch reliable?

Feng Luo raised his eyebrows and said, "Go in and say!"

The man said to the others, "Watch this place, and if anyone comes, call me!"

Feng Luo doesn't understand the sound and color, and he knows it in his heart. Although these people were also wearing the clothes of Davao soldiers, some of them did not fit, and they were all ordinary soldiers, and there were no squad leaders. With such a flaw, Feng Luo immediately saw that something was wrong.

"Stick, a guy who is afraid of death, doesn't dare to let his own people guard the old man, but he handed it over to us and retreated completely. The man scoffed in a low voice, looking down on Stitch.

"He expects this old man to die at your hands. Feng Luo saw a simple marching bed in the middle of the room, and an old man with gray hair was lying on the bed.

The wrinkles on the old man's face were deep, and he was always sixty or seventy years old. A hooked nose makes the whole person look gloomy. But he was very weak at the moment, and his eyes were blank.

"Oh, what do you mean? This old man can't die now, it's useful. The man didn't understand and asked.

Feng Luo didn't answer, because he saw that there were three more people in the room. A tall, thin man, a strong man, once seen in the Land of the Dead. The other person didn't know him, he was a middle-aged man, and he obviously had a higher status.

Although the two old acquaintances did not recognize Feng Luo for the first time, their expressions obviously changed, probably because they felt familiar.

"My lord, he came here on the orders of the general. The man who brought Feng Luo in said.

"Oh, with a knife across the river, the gate of heaven will be opened from now on!" the middle-aged man stared at Feng Luo and said this.

Feng Luo's heart was about to be bad, but a smile appeared on his face, nodded, and said, "Kainima!" kicked the person leading the way away, and threw out the two scrolls in his hand. He was weak when fighting head-on, so he simply prepared more scrolls.

Two scrolls smashed into the old rival as a welcome gift for the reunion. Feng Luo himself attacked the middle-aged man, gathered his pulse, and stabbed straight with a dagger.

The middle-aged man was still wary at first, but after seeing Feng Luo's smile, he relaxed a little, but he didn't expect the other party to attack directly.

"Thunder Fury!" the middle-aged man shouted wildly, speeding up the performance of the technique, his hair instantly opened, and his body shot backwards. Feng Luo's dagger missed, kicked under his feet, and continued to exert force.

The middle-aged man took out a pair of sledgehammers from the storage device on his waist, and the sledgehammers struck, bursting out small lightning bolts. Feng Luo was accidentally struck by a bolt of lightning, his body was numb, and his pulse was almost interrupted.

As the hammer slammed, lightning became more and more frequent, and it seemed to fill the room. The tall and thin man and the strong man hurriedly retreated to the corner so as not to be seriously injured.

The Duke of Manton, lying on the marching bed, had his eyes wide open, but he could not dodge, and his hair was scorched. Feng Luo saw the great urgency, he came to save people, how to save people when they died.

Feng Luo took out another scroll from the storage container, shouted "Celestial Power", and threw it at the Duke of Manton. This scroll was given by a regimental commander just now, and he hid it close to him, so that it was not searched, and it was said to form an invincible shield for a moment.

The purpose of the person who gave the invincible shield was obvious, to protect the name of the Duke of Manton with a scroll in a critical moment. Feng Luo didn't expect the scroll to really be used, and it was so fast.

A cloud of red light burst out, enveloping the Duke of Manton. The temperature in the room rose instantly, more violently than the explosion of explosives.

"No!" the middle-aged man shouted in horror, not bothering to hit the double hammer, he threw it backwards, and his body also retreated. Crashed into the wall and the whole person flew out.

Feng Luo relied on the support of the pulse qi, cast a terrifying dragon and retreated quickly. His techniques had been used before, and the most suitable for escaping could not be used, putting him at a disadvantage.

The red light in front of him skyrocketed, and the fiery feeling came to his face. A huge force impacted Feng Luo. A cloud of pulse qi gushed out from his chest, raising his dragon scale armor to the extreme.

The house collapsed, and Feng Luo staggered to his feet from the rubble, his ears still roaring. His eyes were red, still in a trance, and he could only see the general outline of things, and the color was only red. Blood was pouring out of his nose, but he was in a trance.

Feng Luo remembered very well that when the man gave him the scroll, he clearly said that it was an invincible shield. How can it explode after it is cast?

The most plausible explanation is that the regimental commander lied to him!

Why lie to him? The purpose is obvious, to kill the Duke of Manton!

Why did you kill the Duke of Manton?Who did that man work for? What good did the Duke of Manton do when he died?

A series of questions scurried around in his mind, making Feng Luo, who was already blown up, even more demented. The upheaval that has taken place is really difficult for him to accept. He actually killed a big man with his own hands, and it was the big man he wanted to save.

Tall, thin and strong men had lost their lives, lying in a blur of flesh and blood in the rubble. The middle-aged man cultivated high, fled quickly, was not seriously injured, and was staggering to his feet. Others, dead and wounded, it was impossible to see how many there were for a while.

Feng Luo was in a trance, but there was a voice in his heart, telling him to run, don't stop here!

So, he ran away, spreading his legs and running wildly. Someone in front of him tried to block him, but they were all knocked away by force. As for whether those people died or not, Feng Luo didn't care at all.

An explosion occurred in the castle lord's mansion, and the house collapsed, causing great chaos inside and out. Feng Luo didn't encounter much resistance, and some people even regarded him as a refugee.

After running for a long time, Feng Luo subconsciously ran towards a place with fewer people. The night breeze blew in his face, causing the boiling blood to gradually cool down.

Feng Luo stopped, there was no one around, only a faint starlight sprinkled down, and the outline of things could be seen. In the air, the most obvious is the sound of one's own breathing.

Cries for help came from far away. There were also people crying, crying heartbreakingly.

Setting fire to the house and creating chaos was originally a plan set by Feng Luo. And now, he was feeling uneasy. Is it worth it to save more than a dozen people and make more people suffer?

In addition to guilt, Feng Luo's heart was more angry and fearful of the future.

Being deceived by others is one thing, but the conspiracy hidden behind it is something he can't see through at a glance. It was as if a huge whirlpool was about to suck him in. He couldn't leave, because there were still more than a dozen people who needed him.
