postscript
The clumsy work is finally finished, and in addition to sighing, looking back on the creative experience, I have to say something: we ordinary people have to go through some pain if we want to complete something, let alone complete something that is beyond our ability. Of course, there is no deep feeling without pain. Not to mention that Confucius wrote "Spring and Autumn", Qu Yuan was exiled to "Lisao". As an ordinary person, you will not suffer like that, because it is impossible to encounter big ups and downs. I just wanted to write a novel, a better historical novel, so I did it and wrote it. Cervantes once compared his work to his own child, and this metaphor is very apt. Of course, there are smart and stupid children, but everyone hopes that their children can do great things, and for normal people, this good wish will be there. So what is this child I have born? I hope it's not a deformity. Because writing a book is really not a joke, and I don't have any talent in the first place, not at all like those genius writers in the legend, I can write a masterpiece in a year or two, and I can still rank first in sales, I can't, I can't, I can't, because I really don't have that talent.
I remember when I was a child, when I was writing, I always liked to write an essay first, and then write a poem. I always felt that this was the only way to write poetry, and this hobby has always been in my desire to write. My dream of writing stems from my father's subtle and imperceptible teachings. His father, Ren Liguo, was a graduate of the Chinese Department of Lanzhou University in the sixties, and he worked as a Chinese teacher all his life. When I was a child, when my father came home from winter and summer vacations, he would practice calligraphy on some old newspapers, and he may not have deliberately let me learn or practice calligraphy or anything, but he inadvertently had an influence on my literary enlightenment. When my father left home from school, I flipped through what he had written, "Death before leaving school makes heroes cry." "The great river goes east, the waves are exhausted, and the eternal romantic characters." "Through the ages, heroes are nowhere to be found, and Sun Zhong is looking for a solution. Dance Pavilion Song Stage, the wind is always blown away by the rain and wind. "The black magpie flies south without Wei, and there is Zhou Lang in the east of the big river." "There are so many delicate rivers and mountains, leading countless heroes to bend their waists." Wait, I was shocked when I saw these poems, and I always felt that these beautiful poems really depicted the heroes on the land of China in a fascinating way, so I had infinite reverie about the heroes.
Later, when I joined the job, I had time to do what I loved. I remember that in a comfortable summer vacation, I spent a few days alone in school and finished reading "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", and I pondered at that time: the heroes who emerged in the book are really singing and crying, and it is fascinating! The opening poem reads: "The rolling Yangtze River is passing away, and the waves are sweeping away the heroes; Success or failure turns empty, the green mountains are still there, how many times has the sunset been red? So I couldn't help but mutter: "Heroes are willing to wait for idleness, and they feel a lot of emotion about the rise and fall of glory and disgrace; Hold high the wine glass and pour the block, look up at the stars and turn the top; Success is like the sun and the moon hanging in the world, and people are like rivers passing away. At that time, I thought with one mind: I can't be a hero, so I can write about heroes, write down the thoughts I want to express in my heart, pour my own blocks with the wine of the ancients, and express my feelings before the great cause of the sages, which can only be the case.
Throughout the ancient and modern history of China, in addition to the heroes of the Three Kingdoms period, there are also many heroes who have emerged in the past hundred years, especially during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. However, the heroes of this period of history are not easy to grasp, and the praise and disapproval of some characters are not easy to draw conclusions, so after thinking about it, I gave up, so I thought of Qin and Han. Because the heroes who emerged in this period were also the most in ancient China, and more importantly, the Great Qin Empire founded by Qin Shi Huang and the Great Han Dynasty founded by Gaozu of the Han Dynasty later were the first glorious period of the Chinese Empire and the key period for the formation of the basic structure of the Chinese state system in the entire feudal society. Although the political model of each later dynasty was different and had its own characteristics, the Han Dynasty abandoned the incompatible parts of Qin politics and social development more politically, militaryly, economically, culturally, and ideologically, and inherited the basic model followed by the later Chinese feudal dynasties, so the Han Dynasty and the Qin Dynasty were equally important, because they were separated by a very short time, so they were one with each other. People are accustomed to know that the Qin Dynasty and the Han Dynasty are two dynasties, Qin Shi Huang and Han Gaozu are two emperors in different periods, but Liu Bang is only three years younger than Ying Zheng and belongs to the contemporaries. In the third year after Ying Zheng's death, the forty-seven-year-old Liu Bang started the army from the grassroots level, and then opened the Liu Bang era, and the times also pushed him to the forefront of history.
During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the Qin State used the Shang Dynasty to become the strongest country among the Seven Kingdoms, and the last person who led the Qin State to flatten the heroes and unify the Liuhe was Qin Shi Huang, who was known as the Emperor of the Ages in the history of our country. This man possessed superior imperial intelligence and heroic spirit, and finally completed the unification of the empire. However, he only lived to be 50 years old, and he ruled for nearly 30 years, but his status in Chinese history is quite high. How so? He inherited a thousand years from the top and a thousand years from the bottom. Because he ended the five-hundred-year melee of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period and completed the unification of the Six Kingdoms, he was the end of the history of the former Qin. However, as the first emperor in Chinese history, he established the centralized system of feudal absolutism and was also the founder of the family system, so he opened the feudal imperial system for 2,000 years, and it was the starting point of a new historical period. Although it is said that the real feudal absolutist centralized system was the consolidator of the Han Gaozu, Qin Shi Huang's pioneering work is indelible. The unification of the Qin State was a thorough integration of the Huayi tribes that had been divided for five hundred years, but the integration was not thorough enough, and the empire was soon divided again, and the princes fought again, until Liu Bang became the emperor, and the Chinese Empire in the true sense was formed, so the historian Professor Li Kaiyuan called the Qin and Han dynasties the post-Warring States era. This name is very reasonable, and it was only after the reintegration of Han Gaozu that the Han Dynasty began to see the consolidation, stability and later rise and strength of the country.
The leaders, advisers, and generals who emerged in the post-Warring States era emerged in an endless stream, and they were either strategizing, or treacherous, or vertical and horizontal, and their energy was also magnificent. Moreover, the degree of chaos and complicated events between the vassal states was almost no less than that of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Sun Haohui, the writer of "The Great Qin Empire", also said: "The spirit of the times of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period is a great struggle and a strong survival. Then the post-Warring States era is also a great struggle and strong survival. Heroes from all walks of life are also fighting thoroughly, comprehensively, and earth-shattering. At that time, various countries also produced many talents, famous generals like clouds, and ministers like rain. So heroes from all walks of life appeared, and the flames of their revenge quickly burned all over the country, so that in three years, the Great Qin Empire was wiped out in an instant. Therefore, the former sages and ancestors of the Chinese nation were once again swept into a ruthless and large-scale war for hegemony by the tide of the times, so that the torrent was turbulent, the waves washed the sand, and the dim-witted mediocrity was ruthlessly eliminated, and the real heroes came across the sea and stood out, thus drawing a long historical scroll of the entire society in the post-Warring States period, and once again writing a brilliant chapter for the historical glory of Chinese civilization.
In the post-Warring States era, Liu Bang was the most outstanding and could be described as the most dazzling star of that era. He first rebelled with a pavilion chief, slashing snakes, and then threw himself into the tide of the rebels without hesitation, and later joined forces with Xiang Yu to attack in two ways and launched a large-scale war against Qin, and finally entered Guanzhong first, and successfully won the crown of the king of Guanzhong, which laid a solid foundation for him to defeat Xiang Yu and create a Han Dynasty that lasted for four hundred years. Therefore, the heroes of that period left behind a series of well-known legends and mysteries of the ages. It was because of these factors that I really wanted to complete this historical novel. So it is not easy to show such a shocking historical legend in the form of a novel, not to mention that the historical materials of this period are too short, so it brings great difficulties to creation. Former sage Hu Shi also said: "Chu Han and Sui and Tang are too short, if you don't rely on imagination to add materials, you can't make a lively story." The implication is that you have to add materials to complete the creation.
The addition of material is a matter of imagination, i.e. a fictional plot. Literary works are different from historical classics, which are works that have been written by the sages of the past and cannot be tampered with, the study of history is the business of historians, while literary works are the business of literary creators. As long as it conforms to scientific logical thinking and the artistic laws of literary creation, it is also very important to fictionalize the plot according to the author's personal emotions and cognition. Fu Tengxiao's "Novel Techniques", Chapter 6, Section 2, the last sentence of the first paragraph says: "The artistic imagination of a writer and artist can be regarded as the touchstone of his artistic talent. "How did you add material to this work? Can some materials be added? What if you come across a historian? They will say that this story does not exist, that thing does not exist at all, and that it is really embarrassing to encounter such a thing. Don't say that this work is the famous book "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", some people say: "The story of history is too strict, and the imagination is too little, and the creativity is too thin." Of course, this statement still does not seem accurate today.
Historical fiction is different from other novels, it is based on real historical events, combined with the storyline, use imagination, expand and add content, and strive to achieve everything in line with the requirements and laws of literary creation, rather than taking it for granted. A valuable historical novel is not only the author's emotional reproduction of this history, but also the sublimation of emotions. The most difficult thing to write in historical fiction is to grasp and evaluate historical figures, neither distorting historical figures, nor copying and copying archetypal characters in an old-fashioned way, but creating new archetypal images, that is, the author's new and unique insights. It is indeed more difficult to do this, especially the grasp of the "degree" of the characters. In addition, there are very few historical materials in this period, and it is difficult to find other historical materials except for the biographies of "Historical Records" and "Hanshu", so it is very difficult to create.
Here is an example, at the beginning of my creation, there was a character who had a dispute with his father, and this character was Meng Jiangnu. Chinese know this character: she is a representative of the working people, a small person who swears to fight to the death against the powerful ruling class, but she is famous and iron-clad. Her deeds are the crying down of the Great Wall, the merciless indictment and whipping of the ruling class against the violence of the people. The Great Wall is a masterpiece of the Chinese, located in northern China, is a world cultural heritage, a national key cultural relic, a military defense project in ancient China, and the largest single building since human civilization. It is solid, strong, united, calm and self-defensive, and the Chinese have relied on it to resist countless invasions of foreign enemies, so the Great Wall is a symbol of patriotism and a spiritual symbol of the Chinese nation's resolute resistance to foreign invasion.
It may seem anachronistic to accuse it today, but it was indeed the greatest project of the Qin generation, and its purpose and function was to defend against foreign invasions. If it weren't for his unification of the six kingdoms and the establishment of the powerful Great Qin Empire, so that the Chinese nation could have multiplied and multiplied in the Yellow River and Yangtze River valleys from generation to generation, there would have been no great China today. When I first started creating, I had already written Meng Jiangnu into my work, but my father didn't agree with the appearance of this character after seeing it, and Meng Jiangnu was not from the Qin Dynasty. I think that the story of Meng Jiangnu has long been deeply rooted in the minds of Chinese, it is the product of Qin Shihuang Momin, and this character must appear in the work. This requires how to grasp this degree, not only to show the strong love and hatred of the story, but also to show the narrow-mindedness and greatness of the two: the great First Emperor only has great merits in his eyes, but he can't see the efforts and sacrifices of the lower working people, and the beautiful and strong Meng Jiangnu only has loyalty and sworn defense of personal love in her eyes, but she can't see the significance of the great Qin Shi Huang to create a great country. In all fairness, they were all heroes, and they were all characters I really wanted to celebrate, so I insisted on writing about her. The fall of the Qin State has almost nothing to do with the great Qin Shi Huang, which I have shown in detail in my works, and I invite readers and friends to slowly experience it when they read it.
The main characters in the rest of the works are real. The author's fictional plot in the work appeared for the needs of the novel, and I also learned from the creative experience of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", and under the premise of large history, I used my personal imagination to fabricate some logical plots, although these plots are not recorded, but may have happened in history. Although I don't have "eight extremes, my heart is wandering." "Cage the world in the form, frustrate all things in the pen." but it would be a blessing to be able to conceive one-tenth of Poe's inspiration for "The Strange Affair of Marie Roger". The rest of the chapters are also mostly written with mixed truths and falsehoods, combining fiction and reality, and writing with falsehoods and truths. However, there are discrepancies in everything, and we will never make nonsense or nonsense, and I hope that those who really study history will not be led astray.
The former sage Hu Shi analyzed "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" from a literary point of view, saying that this book can still only be regarded as a very powerful popular history lecture note, not a book with literary value. There are two reasons for this: first, the story of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is too strict with history, and the imagination is too little, and the creativity is too thin; 2. The authors, revisers, and final writers of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" are all ordinary Confucians, not genius writers, nor superb thinkers. But in the end, he said: "Having said that, "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is indeed an excellent popular history, and in the thousands of years of popular education history, no book can compare to his magic." The implication is that in the long history of 5,000 years, it is the only one, which shows the sonorous affirmation. However, the old gentleman still said that this novel is history. According to the Western view of novels, "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is a historical work, not a novel. Since such a famous book will have such a big controversy, not to mention that I am not even an ordinary "ugly Confucian" The work written by an elementary school art teacher? Therefore, we must leave room for creative works of literature, and there is no art without fiction, so please forgive me for my "nonsense".
That is to say, historical fiction has the rules of literary creation it follows, so the major events and story lines in the book are in the order of chronicles, and this single and short historical story is compiled into many complex and fierce historical conflict stories according to the creation rules of the novel, and they are connected together. Of course, the purpose of writing a book is not only to make up stories, but also to create heroes and call for heroes. I earnestly hope that we will feel from the book that the era of 2,000 years ago was an era of iron-blooded rigidity of heroes, an era of heroic optimism. At the moment of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, what China still needs is the spiritual outlook of that era, and what China still needs is the iron-clad people with lofty ideals and the positive and enterprising spirit of resistance. Therefore, I urgently call for new heroes to appear again, so as to complete the great cause of the reunification of the Chinese nation and welcome the return of Taiwan.
My specific creative process is as follows: from 1997 to conceive this work, received the strong support and help of my father, from the Qiu purchase of documents: "Historical Records", "Han Book", "Chu and Han Spring and Autumn", "Western Han Dynasty Romance", "Qin and Han Dynasty Romance", "Qin Shi Huang Biography", "Lin Handa Chinese Historical Story Collection", "Han Gao Emperor Biography", "Han Dynasty Chang'an Dictionary", "Chinese Ancient and Modern Geographical Names Dictionary", "Chinese Historical Atlas" and other books began to spend four or five years, and the official start of writing began in 2001. In 2008, he completed a handwritten manuscript. In order to facilitate revision, I asked my sister Ms. Ren Xiao'e to type all the manuscripts of hundreds of thousands of words on the computer, and then changed the manuscripts until the creation of the whole book was completed in 2017, and the original title of the book was "One Hundred and Two Qin Guan". During this period, my parents were already sick, and I originally wanted my father's old friends to write a preface for me, but at this time they were both terminally ill and drove west one by one, which I did not expect.
His father graduated from the Chinese Department of Lanzhou University in 1965, and he was in the same class as Liu Man, Wang Jiada, Wang Sen, and Radar Studies. Mr. Liu Man is the author of the book "Research on the History and Geography of Helong". Wang Jiada is an old writer in Gansu, and his novel collection "The Yellow River Water of Qing Lingling" is a work that his father often reads and praises. Wang Sen is the author of the book "Essays on Language". Lei Lei is a well-known literary critic and writer in China. I heard that these people were my father's classmates and friends, and they kept in touch often, and I was very happy, and I always wanted to have them, so I was not afraid of not succeeding. It was May Day in 2016, and when I returned home from vacation, I showed some of the manuscripts to my father to Mr. Wang Jiada. But there was no news after that, and around June 1, I urged my father to call Mr. Wang to ask about the situation. My father called. Wang Lao said from the phone in a very strong Lanzhou dialect: "Lao Ren, I read Ren Hong's manuscript, he got your family heirloom, the writing is good, quite the style of the Three Kingdoms, the war scenes are written very distinctively, and the combination of tradition and truth." Let him write well, I read his catalog, the article is very long, such a large work is rare now! You must encourage and support him to complete the creation. If you want to publish it in the future, it would be better to find an expert to write a preface. My father took the opportunity to say: "You are a great writer, Ren Hong means that you want to write a preface!" Wang Lao smiled and said, "I'm a layman in historical novels!" Lao Lei specializes in comments, so you better let him write it, right? He's mighty! Then the two of them said something else. I was very impressed by this conversation between them.
Later, I went back to work, but it didn't take long for my father to say on the phone that Mr. Wang had passed away, as if it was June 10. At that time, I was shocked, thinking that he was an old man, why did he die suddenly, and my father also regretted it for a long time. Wang Lao mentioned Lao Lei earlier, that is, radar science, also known as radar, former director and researcher of the creation research department of the Chinese Writers Association, president of the Chinese Novel Society, honorary member of the Chinese Writers Association, deputy director of the Theoretical Criticism Committee of the Chinese Writers Association, vice president of the Chinese Fuxi Culture Research Association, judge of the Mao Dun Literature Award and Lu Xun Literature Award for many times, and concurrently serve as a doctoral supervisor of modern and contemporary Chinese literature in the School of Literature of Lanzhou University. I once asked my father to show my manuscript to Mr. Radar. My father said: "He is even more famous than Wang Jiada, how can he take a fancy to your works?" "But I had to ask my father to contact Mr. Radar. My father couldn't resist me, so he agreed.
During this period, another friend of my father, Mr. Liu Man, often came to my house, and as soon as they met, they would talk about the world, discuss articles, reminisce about the past, and discuss the book "Research on the History and Geography of Helong". Once, when Mr. Liu came to my house, he took two copies of "Nandu" and "Nandu" of "Nandu and Beigui", because he was already sick and couldn't hold more books, so he only took two copies, and said that the other two "Beigui" upper and lower volumes would be taken next time, and said that the writing was very good, and he wanted my father to read it. I took this opportunity to find my manuscript from my mobile phone and let Mr. Liu look at it. Mr. Liu watched it for more than half an hour, and then said in surprise: "You are really good, I am very impressed to write such a large work!" I don't write about history now, but I can't do you and your dad in fiction, so you'd better let your dad read it, right? I said, "He's already seen it, now it's your turn." Teacher Liu said sincerely: "I can't play with my mobile phone, and my eyes can't do it." I said, "I'll download a WeChat for you, it's very convenient to use." I tried to download a WeChat message for Mr. Liu, and then sent the manuscript. He said he watched slowly. At this time, he and I discussed the matter of "Xiao Guan".
In his book "Research on the History and Geography of Helong", he said that Xiao Guan of Qin was in the southeast of Guyuan. I said, "No, Xiao Guan of Qin should be in Qingyang Huan County!" His reason is that there are historical materials that can prove that the earliest Xiaoguan was in the southeast of Guyuan. Out of politeness, I didn't refute it anymore and ostensibly agreed with him. Because Xiao Guan is also written in my works. Before the unification of the pre-Qin and Qin states, the Great Wall of the Qin state did not pass through the southeast of Guyuan at all, but led straight from the northwest of Guyuan to the northeast to the Huanxian of Qingyang. Qin built the Great Wall in order to guard the border, imagine the interior where the Great Wall did not pass, why did the Qin people set up a pass? What's the point? For example, in order to prevent theft, a family will install the gate very strong, which is reasonable, if away from the gate, set up a line of defense in the middle of the yard, what is the significance of this to prevent theft? After the unification of Qin, with the northern expedition of General Meng Tian, the border line of Qin greatly moved northward, and extended to the outside of the Yellow River "several" shape under the Dayin Mountain, and built a new Great Wall, the famous Gaoque Pass was built there, which is really a thousand miles of land. The Xiaoguan in the southeast of Guyuan was later when the Chu and Han sides fought, the Chinese were unable to pay attention to the north, and the Xiongnu pressed on the pass step by step, and many lands in the north were lost again, and the Xiongnu broke the northern Great Wall defense line of the Qin Empire, and also crossed the old Great Wall defense line of the Qin State during the pre-Qin period. Later, in order to resist the invasion of foreign people, the Han Dynasty established a pass in the southeast of Guyuan, which was the Han Xiao Pass, and the Song Xiao Pass established by the Song Dynasty. What broke the situation in the northern part of the Qin State was that when the Western Han Dynasty was in its heyday, the territory of the Han Dynasty expanded outward again: it stretched to Dawan in the west, Novonorthwestern Lia in the northwest, and Sakhalin Island in the northeast, and the territory expanded twice as much as the Qin Empire did. It is not easy for Mr. Liu to study these things, and academically speaking, I respect his views very much.
Later, I never expected that on the eve of the Spring Festival in 2017, when I went home for the New Year, my father suddenly said: "Teacher Liu Man has passed away." "I was very surprised, how can a good person say no, it's gone? My father said that Mr. Liu was very ill. After that, he often complained: "Lao Liu should be treated conservatively, not surgery or chemotherapy...... Alas! ”
After that, my father called Mr. Lei to tell him about me, and Mr. Lei was surprised to hear that I was writing a historical novel, so he asked my father to send him a manuscript. I was overjoyed to receive the news, so I sent all the manuscripts to my father in electronic form, and my father forwarded them to Mr. Lei. It was during the Spring Festival holiday in 2018, and I was full of confidence and nervousness at the same time. I thought: Mr. Lei is not an ordinary person, what if he can't look at it? When school was about to start, Mr. Lei called my father, and I was at home that day. Because my parents were sick, I stayed at home for the rest of the holidays. Mr. Lei said on the phone: "I read part of it, and I was very surprised, the story of 2,000 years ago, the vast historical materials, if you don't study and treat them seriously, how can you reproduce the dignity of history?" Nearly a million words of writing, not years of writing and suffering, how can this book be made? Lao Ren, let me ask you, were the three poems of "Caiyun Pavilion" in Chapter 206 written by Ren Hong or did he quote the poems of the ancients? The father said, "It was written by Ren Hong." Teacher Lei said: "I thought it was a quote from the poetry of the ancients, but I couldn't find it after searching on the Internet for a long time, and I couldn't see that it was from Ren Hong's hand!" These three poems are very elegantly written, and the mood is magnificent and majestic (which I later explained in the book). And the opening and ending two songs, both of which are well written, I am shocked! In addition, I remember the eighty-eighth chapter very deeply, 'Anti-Pei County Cao Shen Captures the Pass', the language of this chapter is crisp and neat, and the style of writing is similar to reading 'Guan Yun Chang Thousand Miles Riding Alone' in the Three Kingdoms. Such a strange text, it is very surprising! Lao Ren, this novel is completely publishable, and I am willing to write a recommendation essay, but not a preface, because I am not an expert specializing in the history of the Qin and Han dynasties. The father quickly expressed his gratitude on the phone. When I heard these affirmative words from Mr. Lei, I immediately felt very relieved. After that, we will seize the time to revise and strive to complete it as soon as possible. But it was very unfortunate that only a month after we started school, about the beginning of April, Mr. Lei suddenly passed away in the capital, and this news hit my father very hard, because his old friends left one by one at this time, and at this time, my mother was also sick and hospitalized, and my father's heart attack also occurred from time to time, and he was admitted to the hospital many times.
During that time, I was also emaciated and seemed to be in the hospital all day. I was anxious, after thinking about it, I didn't know what to do without the guidance of my predecessors? Later, I first published my work on the Zongheng Chinese website, so that the novel was published, and since then it has been sorted out and published chapter by chapter. Later, a friend told me that my work was too traditional and should be changed to a time-traveling text, and he also came up with an idea that the work could completely set "me" as the master, and then let him be brain dead in an accidental "accident", or suffer from some kind of mental illness, let him travel to the Qin Dynasty, become the famous Zhang Zifang, assassinate Qin Shi Huang, and then assist Liu Bang, who has the idea of serving the people, to make contributions. You can also travel to modern times, become a certain Spider-Man who assassinated the king, act chivalrous and righteous, and finally assist a future Chinese leader to unify the earth. In this way, the ancient and the modern are staggered, so that it can be thought-provoking and eye-catching. I thought about this matter for three days and three nights, and I always felt ridiculous, thinking that although traditional literature is suppressed everywhere, and even ruthlessly denied, everything must become bizarre and absurd in order to attract attention. But historical texts are not allowed to tamper with, that kind of grotesque and funny historical narrative, most people are unacceptable, Chinese narrative feelings for history are permeated in the bones, I believe that in the future China will have a large number of national elites will continue to carry forward our good things, so my works are still very traditional historical narrative essays.
In the last period of my parents' lives, I remember one time, another old friend of my father, Mr. Wang Sen, came to visit my father in the hospital, saying that his new book had been published, and he specially brought a copy to my father, which was "Essays on Language". I was going to ask Mr. Wang to read my manuscript again, but at this time, as my parents' illness worsened, I did not have the opportunity to go to Mr. Wang Sen again, but spent all day in the hospital. Unexpectedly, that summer, my mother left us before my father because she was seriously ill and the treatment was ineffective. Twenty-three days later, my father was gone. During that time, I seemed to feel that all the lights in front of me had gone out, and my heart was suddenly filled with disappointment and regret. A few days before his death, my father said to me from his hospital bed: "There is a critic named Yang Guangzu in Gansu, this person is very powerful, you must find him to write a preface!" "Although I remembered my father's words, in the middle of nowhere, I didn't know where to find him, and the matter was put on hold forever.
Later, I contacted the book planner of Huaxia Changhong Group, who read my manuscript, advocated for publication, and gave me great encouragement and support. I said I had to find a celebrity to write the foreword. He said that it costs money to find celebrities, there is no need, readers read novels, not prefaces, and the editors of our publishing house can also write prefaces. I thought what he said was very reasonable, and after careful consideration, I agreed to him to publish it, and then I signed a contract to entrust it to Global Press in Singapore. For this reason, I would like to thank Huaxia Changhong Group and the editors who are responsible for the publication, they are also important people in my life. I'm done with that, even if it's the afterword to this book, that's it. The book has a feeling:
Winning the hero, sorrows, joys and deaths, tears poured out.
Pin Feng cast the iron number of the emperor, open the north of Tun and lose the city of Jin.
The weeds and sand bury the bones of war, and the heroic ghost endures the cry.
The scholar felt the rise and fall of things, and pretended to be a Sven hidden armor soldier.
