(22) Wind Snow Mountain Temple 1

(The story of Concubine Ka's mother)

I'm a cat demon.

Many, many years ago, I was just a lazy little raccoon flower in the mountains, ignorant, just knowing that I wandered in the forest every day, chasing fish and butterflies and basking in the sun. If you are sleepy, find a safe place to rest, hungry wild fruits in the mountains, and fat rats in the ground can satisfy your hunger.

Until one day, there was a heavy rain in the mountains, I went to the mountain temple to take shelter, and met an old monk with a little monk while taking shelter from the rain and preaching the scriptures. I listened to a few words, and somehow, I opened my mind, knew the laws of heaven and earth, and learned the method of cultivation.

The method taught by the old monk is very different from the methods of other demons in the mountains, only allowing them to absorb the aura of heaven and earth, and not killing or injuring any living being.

The path of cultivation is extremely arduous, the spiritual energy in the mountains is limited and there are many natural enemies, and the demons are fiercely scrambling, and there are sometimes deaths and injuries. But I know the laws of heaven and earth, and killing and snatching will eventually reap the consequences. As a result, my cultivation progress has been slow, and I still can't transform into a human for two hundred years.

But for some reason, the aura I cultivated became the favorite target of other demons.

One day I was chased by three little demons, running and running, and jumped into a very high tree in a panic. The branches were so thin that they couldn't bear the weight and snapped.

I fell from a tree and smashed into a manhole cover. In front of the manhole cover, smoke curls from the cooking, and a young man in blue is busy in the kitchen.

I never knew that in the depths of this jungle, there were still people.

The young man in blue looked at me in surprise and couldn't help but smile:

"How did such an interesting little thing fall from the sky?"

He wiped his hands on his apron, walked over and touched my forehead, and said strangely: "It's still a little guy with only Buddha light." ”

This young man's name was Shi Fei, and he later became my master.

"The Buddha said that everything has a fate. In that case, you will follow me from now on. ”

"From this day forward, you will be called ------," he said, looking at the manhole cover where I was lying on my stomach. "You just call, little manhole cover."

Uh......- -#

The master doesn't know where he comes from, but he is a cultivator with profound Taoism. He laid an enchantment in this mountain, and lived in the house for many years, and all the demons in the mountain were not allowed to enter, but I became an exception.

Maybe it's because of the Dharma taught by the old monks in the mountain temple.

Under the protection of my master's enchantment, I was finally able to cultivate with peace of mind. He was gentle and tranquil, treated me like a family member, slept under the same roof at night, and ate three meals a day at the same table. There is no sun and moon in the mountains, and just like that, I don't know how many years have passed.

One day, the master went out and brought back a gentle and demure monk.

Another day, my little master, Ah Yu, was born.

Human cubs are so cute, and I really like Ah Yu's soft and glutinous appearance. Since the birth of the little master, I have even been a little wasted in my cultivation, and I just play with him every day.

In those days, I always thought that it didn't matter if I didn't become an adult, and the master's family were all mortals, all of whom were born, old, sick and died, so I grew old with them, and there was nothing wrong with spending my life with them in the mountains.

However, the master always said that everything has a cause and effect.
