Chapter 21 (Updated March 4, 2012)

It's hard to describe what kind of smell it is, and I need to continue to explain here, for the description of the smell, the way the little brother uses the explanation here is particularly atypical.

In other words, if you haven't been through a lot with him, it's hard to understand what he's talking about. It's not just a smell, it's a feeling. To say that my cultivation is definitely higher than that of my little brother, what he said is a particularly comprehensive feeling. The little brother has experienced countless deaths, or rather, for a long time, his life is about dealing with death.

During those times, he smelled some smells countless times, for example, the smell of traditional Chinese medicine, mold and cinnabar was mostly mixed in the ancient tombs, because these smells existed in that environment, and he would subconsciously associate these smells with death. It's as if we smell alcohol and think of illness and butt pain.

The smell he smelled at the time would have to be explained in a long story. That was the year before he got here. These smells are hidden in the fragrance of Tibetan incense, and they can still be smelled by the little brother, which means that the smell is actually quite strong, but because the felt itself also has a unique smell, and there are so many charcoal stoves baking on the side, so the young people did not distinguish the smell from the smell of felt and Tibetan incense for the first time.

These smells must have been brought in by Tibetan incense, and they must have been in something like a stove carried by the Tibetans. That's the smell of corpses. The Tibetans arranged everything around the girl and quickly left, not wanting to stay long. There seemed to be nothing special about this move, but the young man still sensed that something was wrong.

He looked around at the felt and the patterns on it. With those smells, he involuntarily touched his waist and wanted to get his weapon, but there was nothing on his waist, and he forgot that he hadn't brought anything with him this time.

Why did he suddenly become alarmed? It was because he saw the pattern on the felt. The motif is called "Hades riding a corpse", and the motif shows the Hell Hades riding a female corpse through the mountains and rivers. This pattern is of great significance in the West/Tibet, and it is one of the most useful patterns used to ward off evil spirits. The young man suddenly knew the girl's true identity.

"Hades riding corpse" first appeared on an iron thangka, which is a thin piece of iron, on which the gold and silver leaf are inlaid with the pattern of Hades riding a female corpse walking in the mountains, and the thangka is surrounded by a circle of arabesque-like decorative iron patterns, and there are many skull patterns in the middle. Hades is known in Sanskrit as "Yama Raja" (du, one voice), so this thangka is also called "Iron Yama Raja Riding Corpse", and such a pattern was particularly rare before the appearance of thangkas.

In many cases, others think that these are just exaggerated shapes of stepping on corpses and people that are particularly common in the statues of Western/Tibetan gods. But then it was discovered that something was wrong, because in the Iron Yama Demon Raja Riding Corpse, the shape of the female corpse under the seat was sometimes even more prominent than that of the Hades.

In the primitive Buddhism of the ancient West/Tibet, the king of Yama was also called the "double king", and the ancient Western/Tibetan Buddhists believed that the king of Yama was not a person, but a pair of brothers and sisters, so the female corpse in the corpse of the Iron Yama Raja is sometimes considered to be another female incarnation of the king of Hades. At the right time, the position of the female corpse and the Hades will be reversed, and the female Hades will ride the male corpse, but this pattern has never been discovered.

The female corpse has a fierce face, blind eyes, crawls with elbows and knees, and the whole person is like a ghost, but **plump, with extremely obvious feminine characteristics. The young man saw that all the hands and feet of this girl were broken, and her eyes were blind, could it be that this girl was the mount of the king of Hades?

The young man was too familiar with corpses, this girl must be alive, and he had some foreboding. He has a certain understanding of Hades riding a corpse, but he doesn't understand why the girl is here in this state?

Was she a sacrifice to Hades, or was it a ritual? As he pondered it, the smell on the other side became stronger, and the young man heard the girl's groans of pain, but he could not see the details through the various felts. The young man was not curious about these things, and if he were elsewhere, he would certainly ignore them, but everything here was related to his purpose, what was this place, who these Tibetans were, he had to know.

The young man leaned in, and found a corner, and through the gap between the felts, he saw that the stove which had been placed near the girl seemed to be burning, and that the strange smell and the smell of Tibetan incense were mixed and gushing out violently.

For some reason, the girl was in a lot of pain, as if the smell had a strong irritation on her. The young man walked slowly and found that the girl's face had turned to gray, just like the color of the corpse carved out of silver leaf in the pictures on the felt.

The girl had lost consciousness and was moaning in pain, and there was a strange little incense burner beside her. He carefully opened an incense burner, and found a strange powder burning in it, giving off a strong smell, and he looked around, his fingers stuck into the cracks in the floor, and with a hard punch, he tore off a wooden thorn. He stirred the powder and found that there were many fine bones inside, and although they had been ground very finely, they could still be seen to be old bones. The powder is made by grinding Tibetan incense mixed with some dried corpses.

Young people have never encountered anything like this, and they don't know why. When he looked up at the girl again, he suddenly found that the girl had already climbed up, supported on the ground with her elbows and knees, and knelt on the ground naked/naked/naked. /

The young man tensed his nerves, and grabbed the incense burner with one hand, which was the only weapon he could use nearby, and with his speed and arm strength, he could at least buy himself time to escape, but he still had no bottom in his heart, because he found that the girl crawled very quickly on her elbows and knees, not at all like the speed of a disabled person.

However, instead of attacking him, the girl did not even look in his direction, but crawled straight in the other direction.

The young man followed closely, and saw the girl climb up a wooden staircase, which seemed to lead to the upper floor of the lama's temple. The young man looked behind him, and it was the direction from which several Tibetans came, not the same direction as the girl. The wooden staircase is particularly large, and the wood used is a round log of the thickness of a bowl, and the distance between each section is almost one meter.
