Then Gabai Zhugu began to speak, starting from Na Ruo Pa in detail, all the way to the eight schools of Pa Zhu, the two branches of the black hat and the red hat, and discussed it in detail, with the victory vajra, dense vajra, etc., combined with the Madhyamaka method and the tantric exercises, to form a unique Mahamudra method and the secret method of clumsy fire determination, Xu Le and others nodded again and again!
Although the Ka schools are very complex, they preach the same teachings, namely the Mahamudra method, which is based on Nagarjuna's Madhyamaka doctrine and combines tantric practices.
The meaning of the Mahamudra is according to Gangpopa: "If all the dharmas that can reach the nirvana of birth and death do not exceed the scope of dharma-nature and non-existence, that is, 'hands', and all the dharmas that appear do not exceed the meaning of the original nature, that is, the seal, and they are enlightened in the natural liberation of the dharma-nature, so they are called 'great'." To put it simply, it is the original liberation of the dharma-nature, and to seal this state of liberation without birth and death with one's own mind is called Mahamudra.
The Mahamudra is composed of two types: the Mahamudra of the Sutra teachings attains the emptiness of the Dharma by Nagarjuna Madhyamaka, and the Tantric Mahamudra attains the empirical realm through various practice methods. The former is empty, and the latter is reluctant to be convenient and happy. The combination of the two is called "Joy and Space". This kind of thinking is exactly the same as the principles of "fixing wisdom and cultivating both" and "attaching equal importance to meditation". Therefore, there are also those who attribute Mahamudra to the doctrine of Dharma.
According to the merits of the cultivator's root apparatus, there are three types of Mahamudra: the Mahamudra of Solid Dwelling, the Mahamudra of Empty Bliss, and the Mahamudra of Light. Practicing Mahamudra, or Mahamudra Yoga, is the general form of Mahamudra and is adapted to all sentient beings with a dull nature, so it is of the most important significance. The Mahamudra of Empty Bliss is suitable for those who are of the middle and upper roots, and who practice the Qi Pulses, Bright Points, and the Six Attainments. Among them, the six attainments are the most widely spread methods in the Tibetan Esoteric Realm, including the attainment of spiritual heat, the attainment of illusion, the attainment of dreaming, the attainment of pure light, the attainment of bardo, and the attainment of transliteration. The Bright Mahamudra, also known as the Ganges Mahamudra, is suitable for the person with the highest root apparatus and belongs to the category of Dunxiu. With the power of supreme blessings, the Guru pulls out a little bit when the scholar's karma is ripe, and achieves the Dharma with a flick of his fingers. The Bright Mahamudra is very demanding for both the guru and the disciple.
The most commonly used practice of Mahamudra is its general form, the practice of Mahamudra. Usually the practice of Mahamudra goes through four stages.
The first is "single-minded yoga", that is, "the heart is focused on the heart", so that the mind dwells in a state without being scattered and does not think, so that it enters meditation and reduces delusions.
The second is "Departure Yoga". It is the "theory of detachment" preached by the Madhyamaka school. To practice the Dharma is to realize that the mind and body are inherently non-interfering with birth, dwelling, and destruction, and that there is no birth and no destruction, and that there is no interruption. This stage is a bit like the initial enlightenment of the Zen school.
The third is "Yoga for All Purposes". It mainly means that the mind and the external object are originally one, and the spirit and the material are originally one and not dichotomy, but the form of expression is different. In this way, the relative states of good and evil, such as the coming and going of good and evil, and purification, are said to be only the illusory effects of the ontology of the mind, although they are not real, although they are not empty. When applied to life, good and evil are all Dharmakaya, so the mind has no place to live, and the body is at ease.
The fourth is "Yoga without practice". That is, leaving all appearances, the mind and things are one, and there is no obstacle to blending. In this way, the subject of the path is removed along with the object, and the mind and state are completely sealed at ease, that is, the state of attaining fruition.
The Dzogchen and Mahamudra are both on the path of enlightenment, and both have specific methods of physical and mental training of the Tantric School as the content of practice, which can be regarded as a unique teaching created by the Tibetan Buddhist School by absorbing the ideas of the Han Zen School and blending the techniques of Sanskrit Mantra Visualization. The advanced realm of Dzogchen focuses on the expression of the mind, that is, the realization of the mind from the mind, and the external realm is also absorbed into the mind, and the foothold focuses on the mind. The Mahamudra Law holds that the mind and the external environment are inherently one, so through meditation, one can achieve the harmony of the state of mind, focusing on the relationship between the state of mind, and actually paying more attention to the transformation of the external environment in the mind. The difference between the two is very subtle, and if you look closely, there are two theoretical lines of thought. In addition, it should be emphasized that the "mind" mentioned by the Tantric school is similar to the mind nature spoken of by the Zen school, and does not refer to people's thoughts, which are only a small part of the realization of the mind and body. The mind body mentioned in Tantra actually covers the origin of all things in the universe, and is much more profound than the "spirit" in general terms.
The reincarnation system began with a generation of elders, which was also the earliest beginning of the Tibetan soil area, and then continued to promote the large hand prints, and finally formed its own unique system and characteristics.
The Mahamudra method is the main secret method of the White School, and it is also a supreme secret method. The "Mahamudra" is not one of the three secrets of the body, speech and mind, that is, the "mudra" that seals the deed with the hand. In fact, the "Mahamudra" is a great symbol, a great correspondence, which symbolizes the merging of individual consciousness with the ontology of the universe in meditation, and the realization of a bright and pure state of self-nature.
"Mahamudra", which can be translated as "great symbol", "great seal", etc., is the meaning of expression and symbol; The big one is all-encompassing and supreme. "Great Seal" actually refers to the realm of the soul and the spiritual illumination of the mysteries. In the middle of the word "big seal", the word "hand" is added, and the word "hand" refers to the hand of the Buddha, indicating that the Buddha is like all and all, and there is no difference between the two, and emptiness, happiness, and wisdom, which means respecting the Buddhist scriptures.
Further, Mahamudra is a symbol of the highest attainment, enlightenment, and wisdom in tantric practice. From the point of view of meditation, Mahamudra is the luminous body that appears in the realm of very deep concentration, such as self-nature, reality, bodhi, dharmakaya, truthfulness, vacuum, and cosmic essence, which are all different names that express this meaning. In other words, Mahamudra is a symbol of the merging of individual consciousness (ego) and cosmic consciousness (ego) into one, or a symbol of enlightenment at the snap of a finger.
Mahamudra is rich in content and variety, such as Ganges Mahamudra, Mahamudra Yoga, Mahamudra Technique, Mahamudra Meditation, Mahamudra Heart Method, Open Top Mahamudra, etc. Two of the most famous of these are the Ganges Mahamudra and Mahamudra Yoga. However, the Ganges Mahamudra belongs to the Dharma, which is an extremely advanced method, that is, the guru has the supreme blessing power, and the disciple is ripe for the opportunity to realize the enlightenment of the mind, and with a flick of his fingers, the disciple can realize the path in an instant. There is no certain method for the so-called stimulation of the mind, and an accomplished lama is very familiar with the basis of his disciple's concentration and mental state, so only the lama can give his disciple the stimulation of the mind. In this way, there are two conditions for the practice of the Ganges Mahamudra: first, only the disciples who have attained the upper root apparatus can learn it; The second is that only teachers with great achievements can teach. Therefore, there are very few people who practice the Ganges Mahamudra. Mahamudra Yoga is a gradual method, and because of its step-by-step practice, it is deeply loved by the majority of Tibetan tantric lovers and has become a widely popular practice, and it is the basic tantric method of the White School. From this, we know that the four yoga methods of Mahamudra are clearly hierarchical, and practitioners can advance in an orderly manner, climbing up the ladders, which is really a wonderful practice that ordinary people can practice.
Then Gabai Zhugu told everyone that the cultivation methods of the four yoga methods are: first, the blending of water and milk, the blending of water and milk, and the integration of water and milk, that is, the single-minded yoga method, which is one of the four yoga of Mahamudra. Single-minded yoga is divided into two types of practice: focusing on objects and not focusing on objects; Yoga focusing on objects is divided into two types of practice: yoga focusing on breathless objects and yoga focusing on breathing objects. Focusing on the yoga of breathless objects, this practice has two methods: focusing on small balls or small wooden blocks, visualizing Buddha statues, character images, and bright dots; Second, through cosmic consciousness, we can reach cosmic consciousness, which is the yoga of renunciation, which is one of the four yoga methods of Mahamudra. Yoga is the analysis of the nature of movement and immobility, and the attainment of cosmic consciousness, which is divided into three parts: analysis of movement and immobility, attainment of supreme bodhi, and non-birth yoga meditation; Thirdly, to enter the realm of great liberation and great wisdom, and to enter the realm of great liberation and great wisdom, that is, the Yoga of Non-Practice, also known as Yoga of Non-Zen, is one of the four yoga methods of Mahamudra, and it is also the highest state of yoga among the four yoga.
Yoga without practice is a practice at an advanced stage of the four yoga methods, and if a practitioner can enter this stage of cultivation, then the thoughts and exercises that he has cultivated can be used freely, that is to say, he can enter the unhindered and free realm of great liberation and great wisdom. This realm is based on the supreme bodhi (Mahamudra) that is inherently untainted, and everything is transformed into a dharmakaya. Finally attaining meditation, meditation is no longer necessary, just like a pedestrian crossing a river on a raft, that is, reaching the other side, this is nirvana in the true sense!
Later, after talking about the Mahamudra, Gabai Zhugu told everyone about the secret method of clumsy fire determination, which is actually very similar to the exercises, and it also revolves around the so-called bright point, that is, the continuous operation of the three veins and seven chakras, so that the body is warm, this is too well known to everyone!
When Xu Le and the others listened, they all saluted Zhu Gu Gabai, so frightened that Zhu Gu Gabai didn't dare to dare or dare to be worshiped by His Holiness!
Deputy Director Nizhen doesn't practice, but today he can also hear the supreme method, and he also kowtows to Xu Le, because the Bai faction can practice at home, which is equivalent to getting the true transmission of the Dharma lineage, Xu Le laughed and said it was fate!
Later, I listened to Deputy Director Nizhen tell everyone, "'Chubu' means flying, then Chu Temple is Feilai Temple." Legend has it that Chu Temple flew from the Sanskrit elephant. ”
