Testimonials at the end of the volume Rashomon

- June 26th, no matter what, it can't be considered the middle of the month (sad).

The obsessive-compulsive disorder that wanted to end each volume in the middle of the year was finally relieved because it couldn't be completed...... Let's just write a little longer in the next volume. If the end of the volume reaches the end of the month, you can take a holiday until the beginning of the next month, of course, this can also be said to be the formation of another obsessive-compulsive disorder......

After the end of this volume, the plot mainly gradually becomes more intense - in every sense of the word.

"Ultramarine" has access to the company's top management, "The Godfather" is helped by silence, and "The Detective" has made his first appearance. The first round of enhancement of the three identities has been completed, the inferior has officially joined the Tower of Babel, and with the "Hero Club" to be interfered with and collapsed, the "family" plan to recruit new people will officially begin.

On the other hand, the suicide note that led to the death of the society because Russell forgot to cancel the scheduled delivery will also force the two young people who have made up their minds to pull each other like this, and are forced to face up to this relationship. Otherwise, they would probably pull for several years, and they would stop in place and remain motionless.

As for the final broken chapter or broken volume, it's not entirely a bad cat...... It's because further along, it's not as much fun as stopping here.

Delphinium is a pretty smart girl, and with her wisdom she can realize that this is Russell forgetting to cancel the letter, so she will not rush directly to ask what the situation is, at least not at home. Because this is tantamount to admitting to their parents that he and Russell are doing something dangerous, which will only make them worried.

But in any case, the stalemate between the two sides must have changed when the letter was sent.

So if you write any further, you will lose some of the fun.

But if you stop here, you'll have a little more bad fun.

This is the plot that the cat has laid out from the very beginning of this volume, and it happens to be a before and after.

It is precisely to highlight the fun of this part, so the timeline of the next volume will not jump too much, or in the summer. It takes about half a month to jump.

And then the next volume is going to skip to winter.

The gossip is over, and the inspiration for this volume is said.

As the name of the testimonial at the end of the volume says, one of the inspirations for this volume was the film "Rashomon" directed by Akira Kurosawa, or "In the Bamboo Forest" by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. There is also the last article in the short story collection "The Alphabet Mystery Case" by Seiichiro Oyama, "The Kidnapping of Y".

In Y's kidnapping, it is also such a strange kidnapping case as a start. Everyone in this room proposes a possibility, each of which can be held up on its own, but immediately another person will come up with a more probable conjecture to overshadow the previous inference—until finally, in just twenty pages, two brilliant reversals complete the whole story that precedes it.

And after I sighed, "This book is only the last twenty pages of the last one, Seiichiro, you are really a chicken", and then I suddenly thought of the movie Rashomon, and then I thought of the bamboo forest.

When I was in high school, I used to turn to books that were short stories by Ryunosuke Akutagawa and Alfred Hitchcock. Those who have seen the player should remember that nightmare of spider silk...... In addition, I still remember the short stories such as the kappa, the nose, the play Samadhi, the biography of St. Christopher, and the bamboo forest, as well as my favorite story, "The Picture of Hell". I still remember how I felt when I read this story in the evening self-study, and I felt like I could see a picture of hell through the words.

This volume does not end with a physical "enemy" as its goal. This is also a deliberate attempt by me to disrupt this directional thinking...... Although strictly speaking, the boss battle is only the volume of purple ink - the end of the caged bird is not to fight the boss, and a second kamalser may not be called a boss battle, but since many readers will think that this "boss battle is not well written", it shows that the story of purple ink still forms a kind of directional thinking.

One of the purposes of this volume is to break this mindset. Otherwise, if the reader's eyes are always "expecting the final boss to appear", they will ignore the previous content and reduce the monotony of the story to "who is the boss of this volume", and treat the rest of the story as "water". But in fact, the whole volume of stories adds up to the story I want to tell.

In the story of "Silence", what I want to tell is that everyone makes some kind of inference about one thing based on their own position, based on what they have seen and known—in the eyes of everyone, they are right and everyone else is wrong.

They believe in what they know and take what they know as the truth. But in the eyes of those who have more information and more secrets, the facts they believe are full of flaws, and the propaganda is ridiculous......

It wasn't until he got more information that he sensed his inferiority and chose to silence.

Whether it's Russell being beaten by his hometown, finding the name of his psionic power, or having a conversation with the container...... It's all about growing up.

Russell is growing, and so are the inferior...... In the end, the delphinium finally realized something. Russell's letter undoubtedly contains a secret about the Tower of Babel and the elves. This is so that after her own death, she will have the opportunity to find the Tower of Babel to escape from the manipulation of the board.

This is a story of "growth" and "change".

And because of such a big topic, although the number of words in this volume has been expanded from sixty to eighty, there is still a lot that is not clear.

This is also a disadvantage of this volume.

I think there are three biggest shortcomings, one is that the emperor's plot is not clearly explained, and I should probably arrange an independent plot for him; Another is the lack of process for the transformation of the inferior, and a story of the lower city should be added after Dr. Paradise. and the ending part is "not burning enough" - although the discussion with the emperor is the closing plot that exists in the outline from the beginning, symbolizing the opposition between the new hero and the old hero, it still lacks some "cinematic sense".

I think the design of the lines is already very good, but the details may be filled in more and more emotions can be rendered. Or do more foreshadowing, or import directly from the "see through the truth" part to this part, and put the Torkiphart part in front - but then Russell on Tokfate may not be able to achieve good results. And the words in the back are emotionally and logically coherent, but the ending is also "not burning enough".

So after thinking about it, I still chose the mode of intermittent narration. Although there are still some problems, it can at least give 50% of the reading experience without stucking the follow-up plot, which can be regarded as a middle-of-the-road solution.

After all, "I can't think of that much until I get in touch with it."

There is a very prayable coincidence here, that is, just like the previous volume, what I wanted to express was also fed back to myself, making myself an example and I couldn't say it...... This has to be said to be a very dazzling coincidence.

That's all for this volume of meows. Later, at the end of each volume, Cat will share with you my inspiration, creative ideas, and lessons learned.

I hope it will be useful to everyone...... Both the author and the reader.

Tomorrow is a day off, and the next volume is launched the day after tomorrow.
