Chapter 108: The Christmas Holidays End
When Siwin got home, he snapped his fingers, ready to get Millie to bring the news of his return to Sandrine.
However, all that responded to him was a cold gust of wind, which made him shiver.
Xiwen was stunned for a moment and walked into the attic in the courtyard. It was warmer in the attic than outside, but it was still clear that the fire in the fireplace had been out for a while, and Sandrine and Millie were supposed to be out.
"No......" Xiwen thought of a possibility, and the corners of his mouth twitched.
He opened a portal that led to the deserted alley next to King's Cross Station.
Xiwen stepped out of the aperture and immediately saw Millie, a house-elf with wide-eyed eyes.
"Master Xiwen?!" Millie looked at Xiwen who came out of the aperture in disbelief and exclaimed.
"Shhhh
"Millie, I'm going to find Sandrine now, can you stay here a little longer?" Xiwen said to Millie.
After Millie nodded, Siwen walked straight inside King's Cross Station.
He walked to the middle of platforms seven and eight, and sure enough, he saw Sandrine standing on the partition wall at the exit of platform seven and a half, waiting.
Sandrine looked at the wall quietly, her eyes so focused that she didn't even notice that Sven walked to her side.
"Good evening, Mom!" Xiwen patted her arm and whispered.
Sandrine glanced at Xiwen beside her in surprise, and then subconsciously looked at the partition wall that hid the platform, revealing a suspicious expression.
"Aren't you on the European Magic Star train?" She asked.
"Well, I'm not going to tell you. I put it into practice a new mode of transportation. Shivin smiled awkwardly and said to Sandrine.
"Let's go meet Millie first!" Without waiting for Sandrine to ask any questions, Sven quickly changed the subject and pulled her out of King's Cross Station.
Sandrine gave Shiwen a funny look, didn't ask any more questions, and followed him into the alley where Millie was.
"Now you can tell me what new mode of transportation you're using, right?" After coming to this little alley that was rarely inhabited, she looked at Xiwen with a smile and asked.
Xiwen coughed lightly and summoned the dimensional gate again. The whole alley lit up with its golden light.
Sandrine's face showed a look of surprise at the right time, and Millie next to her exclaimed in surprise.
"Can this circle lead directly to the house?" Looking at the Rozier family attic in the aperture, Sandrine curiously circled around the dimensional gate and asked. "And why is it that one side of the circle is directly connected to the courtyard, while the other looks empty?"
Shivin watched as Sandrine poked her slender index finger at the back of the dimensional door, and the corners of her eyes jumped.
"I don't know, I'm only responsible for learning how to use it......" Xiwen said helplessly. And this spell has a very advanced name, it's called the Dimensional Gate. Just call it the circle, how do you feel that the style has dropped several notches......"
Sandrine didn't pay any attention to Xiwen's protest, and poked the back of the dimensional gate to herself, feeling a repulsion, and then her index finger was repulsed.
"It's amazing!" Sandrine sighed.
Suddenly, as the distant sun completely set the horizon, the whole world darkened, and the street lamps lit up one after another.
In the dim alley without a single light, the golden light of the Dimensional Gate became a little abrupt. Muggles in the distance were already inclined to come here to see what was going on.
"Nebulus."
Sandrine recited a spell, and a steady stream of mist spat out from the tip of her wand and filled the alley.
"Son, you still don't have enough experience!" Sandrine smiled at Shivan. "If your circle is visible to Muggles, it's going to be in trouble."
Xiwen listened to Sandrine say "circle" again, and nodded with the corners of his mouth twitching.
"What are you doing in a daze, why don't you hurry home?" Sandrine had already stepped into the circle of light first, and greeted Xiwen.
"Oh, okay!" Xiwen hurriedly answered, and pulled Millie into the circle...... No, it's inside the Dimensional Gate.
"Meteolojio."
Before Shivin could close the door to the dimension, Sandrine retreated to the clouds in the alley at the same time.
All is calm.
……
The next day was also the day the Hogwarts Express train departed.
Siwen sat lazily by the pond under the fountain and sighed.
"Well, I could have been teleported back to the castle, but I had to stay on the train for six hours......"
After some attempts, Shevin determined that he could directly open the dimensional door to Hogwarts Castle.
Although Hogwarts castles were built with a lot of magic such as the Masking Spell and the Disguising Spell to protect the castle from being discovered and intruded by foreign enemies. The area is also covered with anti-phantom manifestation and shapeshifting spells in large areas.
But the Dimension Gate belongs to another world's magic, and there are no counterspells against it here. As for the shielding spell and the disguise spell, it is not a problem, after all, Xiwen's soul body stays in the castle, acting as a precise coordinate for the little wizard Xiwen!
Unfortunately, it was too suspicious to get to Hogwarts Castle without getting on the train, so Sevin had to continue on the Hogwarts Express, a six-hour drive away.
Just as Xiwen sighed, the house-elf Millie appeared next to Xiwen with a "bang".
"Young Master Xiwen, Madame asked me to tell you that it's coming!" Millie said in a high-pitched voice unique to house-elves.
"I see." Shiwen nodded and followed Millie to the living room.
Sandrine was already dressed and waiting there.
"Do you have all the stuff?" She asked.
"It's all here!" Shivin smiled and pointed to the pocket watch that had been secretly extended with the Traceless Stretching Charm at Lemay's house.
"Then let's go!" Sandrine laughed.
The conscientious house-elf Millie looked at Xiwen and Sandrine, who had stepped into the golden circle of light, feeling that their jobs had been robbed, and stood there in a low mood.
"Millie, you have to take care of your home at home!" Before the aperture closed, Xiwen's voice came out of it.
Millie immediately perked up and nodded excitedly.
……
Severine and Sandrine walked out of the alley from last night and into King's Cross station again.
After passing through the partition wall that concealed the entrance, Xiwen said goodbye to Sandrine on the platform of nine and three-quarters, and stepped into the express train alone.
The train was full of chattering little wizards, discussing the gifts they received for Christmas, the homework they had not finished during the holidays, and the classes they had to take next semester......
Xiwen didn't have any idea of chatting, so he boredom passed by the crowded carriages, found an empty box and sat in.
Then, he pulled out a notebook from his pocket watch space and wanted to look at it quietly for a while.
Just as he was turning the first page, the box door was pushed open. A little witch with silver hair and a cold face walked in.
"I thought you should be in the basement of the castle right now." She spoke.
Xiwen looked up in surprise and saw a pair of strange silver eyes.
