Chapter 113: White Clouds and Moon Hidden
'If a man eats a sheep, a sheep dies as a man, and a man dies as a sheep, and so on, and so on, death and life, and so on, death and life, and each other come and go, and bad karma is born, and the future of poverty is based on theft and greed. ’
The response of the boundless monk is an allusion from the "Great Buddha Crowning Stunned Sutra".
The Buddha believed that human beings eating animals are nothing but revenge, and life and death will eventually be sacrificed to pay for their lives and sink into the sea of suffering.
Sure enough, as soon as he finished speaking, the monks around him began to praise him.
"He is worthy of being a benevolent Buddha, and he can quote the scriptures so quickly."
With the opening of the boundless monk, the bright Buddha on his side, Monk Yehui, was naturally not far behind, and he also announced a Buddha horn at the moment, and said loudly:
"Weird, weird, grandson marries grandmother.
The pigs and sheep sit on the kang and cook in the pot of six relatives.
The woman eats her mother's flesh, and the son beats her father's skin drum.
Everyone came to congratulate, I think it's really bitter! ”
When all the monks heard this, they clasped their hands together and said, 'Sin and sin'.
Lichen nodded slightly, in fact, the limerick poem that the Bright Buddha said also quoted from the classics.
It came from the mouth of the "Zhigong monk" of the "Zhigong Monk" of the "Sure Deviation Temple" five hundred years ago.
This Zhigong monk is amazing, he has practiced to reach the realm of asking the Tao, has five eyes and six links, knows cause and effect, and knows back and forth.
One day, a rich and noble family held a happy event and extended the banquet, so he invited the monk Zhigong to recite the scriptures.
As a result, as soon as the monk Zhigong entered the door, he was startled by the scene in front of him.
This family is young and old, and the reincarnation of cause and effect is so entangled, so there is this limerick poem.
'Grandson marries grandmother' refers to the fact that the grandmother of the family couldn't let go of his precious grandson before she died, and she couldn't see her grandson start a family, and she was full of regret.
So after his death, he went to the underworld, and he was very worried, so he was said by the Lord of Yama: "Since you love your grandson so much, then you will be his wife in the next life, so that you can take care of her." ”
So the old lady was reincarnated and became the wife of her grandson in this life.
'Pigs and sheep sit on the kang and cook in the pot of six relatives', which means that the owner's family used to specialize in cattle and sheep business.
The cattle and sheep that were slaughtered before were reincarnated as human beings in this life, but instead became guests.
The six relatives who used to love to eat beef and mutton became cattle and sheep instead, and were slaughtered to pay off their debts.
'Woman eats her mother's meat', refers to a woman at the next table, who is holding a pig's trotter and eating with relish, but she didn't expect it to be the reincarnation of her mother.
'The son plays the father's skin drum', and the monk Zhigong looked at those who played music, playing gongs and drums, blowing trumpets, and flutes, so lively!
There was a man who was beating the drum vigorously, and the drum was made of donkey skin, and this donkey turned out to be his father in his previous life!
At this moment, "everyone came to congratulate", everyone thought it was a happy day, but Monk Zhigong just sighed: "I said it's really bitter!" "In fact, people take suffering as pleasure!
Although this limerick poem looks simple, it is the end of the suffering of cause and effect.
Therefore, after the Buddha chanted just now, all the monks recited 'sins and sins'.
It can be seen from this that what the Buddha of Light and the Buddha of Compassion are talking about is killing cause and effect, and reincarnation.
The harm of killing lies in cause and effect, in reincarnation.
But Lichen laughed it off, even if these two stories are reincarnated, they are mostly mixed with a lot of fictional ingredients.
It is intended to warn sentient beings about the suffering of killing and eating meat.
Da Lei Yin Temple, Da Ci En Temple, Da Guangming Temple, the three major temples are side by side.
Since the Buddha of Mercy and the Buddha of Light have come out one after another, there is no reason why the Buddha of Lei Yin cannot come out.
What's more, in that law, the title of 'killing' still came from his hand.
The corners of Lei Yin's mouth bent, neither Zen rituals nor magic weapons, the dragon walked to the front, and even the Buddha name was not announced, so he said loudly: "The parrot swallows the jewel, and the sand gate bears its guilt." ”
Although it was just a short sentence, it sounded like a fog, but a few people's eyes lit up.
The sentence of Lei Yin Buddha is actually a story in the "Miscellaneous Parables".
It is said that there was a Shamen who begged one day to go to the house of a jewel seller.
The master of the house prepared a meal for the shaman, and went out.
At that time, there happened to be a jewel worth hundreds of millions in the house, and there happened to be a parrot fed by the owner next to the window.
This parrot is curious, greedy, etc., and swallows this orb in one gulp while people are not paying attention.
When the master returned, he found that the orb was missing, so he asked Shamen.
Shamen knew where the orb went, but said, "I didn't take it." ”
So the master asked if anyone had come. Salmon replied no.
The master said, "Since no one else has come, who else could it be that you have not stolen?" ”
After saying that, he picked up the whip and struck the sand gate.
Suddenly, when the parrot saw the blood flowing from Shamen's body, he flew over and drank the blood, but he was hit by the whip and fell to the ground and died.
Only then did Shamen speak, "It was the parrot that ate the orb." ”
When the master heard this, he directly cut open the parrot's abdomen, and sure enough, he found the orb, and realized that he was wrong to blame Shamen, so he asked puzzledly: "Why didn't you tell me earlier that it was the parrot that ate it?" ”
Shaman said, "I hold the vows of the Buddha and do not kill living beings, and if I say it, I am afraid of killing parrots, even if you kill me, I will not be able to say it." But now that the parrot is dead, there is only that. ”
When the master heard about it, he was full of remorse and hurriedly apologized to Shamen.
And this allusion is what the Leiyin Buddha said: 'The parrot swallows the jewel, and the sand gate bears its guilt'.
Nashamon would rather suffer damage himself than harm the parrot indirectly.
Compared with what the Buddha of Mercy and Grace and the Buddha of Light said, there is no doubt that the allusions that the Buddha of Lei Yin said are more vivid.
Lei Yin Buddha turned his head and glanced at it, very satisfied with the reaction of the monks.
Finally, his eyes fell on Lichen's face, and the corners of his mouth showed that meaningful smile again.
But at this moment, a crisp and pleasant female voice suddenly came from the crowd: "Amitabha." ”
When the monks heard this, they followed the sound and looked at it.
Lichen was also stunned, because the voice was not far from him.
Turning her head to look, it was a teacher, with a pair of willow eyebrows and bright eyes, and the most impressive thing was her skin, which was as white as mutton fat, and even her scalp was a crystal clear feeling.
He looks slightly younger than Lichen.
She looked solemn, moved lightly, folded her hands and bowed to the monks, and then said: "There are two people in the meat character, and there are people outside the inside."
Sentient beings also eat the flesh of sentient beings, and think carefully about people eating people. ”
Her voice was crisp and tactful, but her tone was consistent, and if she listened carefully, if it sounded in her ears, it would take root in her heart.
"It turned out to be the little master of Yueyin in Baiyun Nunnery, she was really smart and clever, and the white jade was flawless."
I don't know who has recognized the identity of this nun.
When Lichen heard this, he secretly said in his heart: It turned out to be her!
The auspicious puja is a sacred text of Buddhism in the world, and naturally there are also nuns and nuns who participate.
And this little teacher of Yueyin is a leading figure of the younger generation who have become famous in Buddhism in recent years.
Even in southern Xinjiang, this nun is famous.
