The whole book is 4.4 million words, with an average of 20w words per month, excluding the three or four months of updates before and at the end of the shelves, and the number of words in normal updates is basically close to 8,000 every day.

It's really quick to think about it.,If it wasn't for the fact that the body was too bad in the end.,If you don't treat it, you'll even have the next book.,I'm afraid the final ending plot can be a little richer.。

High in the sky, the title of the book originally considered "The Star Picker", "The Other Side of the Star Sea" or "The Star Prison", corresponding to Ian's final ending, the picture of Terra's future, and the big map of the story of "Cradle of Tranquility".

But in the end, instead of a name that is more appropriate to the content of the story, I still chose the more romantic title of "Above the Sky", which can better highlight the characteristics of "Pioneer".

Some of the next things I'm going to talk about are related to my previous books, if you have only read this book on the high heavens, it may be a little difficult to understand, but it doesn't matter, just think of it as a novel story and a new perspective.

The inspiration for "Above the Sky" was actually before "Monsters Will Die If Killed".

When I was writing Soul of Burning Steel, I conceived of such a copy when I was designing many 'evil gods'.

Long years ago, the 'Evil God of Death' was gradually conceived, and its fetal movements stirred up the destruction of civilizations in many worlds. The evil god of death was sealed by the sages, but at the center of it, the deepest abyss, the 'Extremely Dark Abyss', was born.

In the extremely dark abyss, there is a large universe similar to the world of stars, all civilizations have ushered in the end, only a group of survivor souls in the ruins, they have tried their best, borrowed hands and feet from countless corpses, borrowed bodies and minds from countless wreckage, they borrowed wisdom and wings from countless shattered civilization fires, and finally, from death to rebirth, defeated [death].

As Joshua charged towards death, they also heard the trumpet of strife, so they did their best to leap out of the darkest abyss, and to live with death, guiding Joshua to swing the axe and sword that slashed the evil gods and cause and effect.

The setting of the Prison Star Heavenly Prison has also been conceived a long time ago, it was thought of when I first played machine warfare, and there is also the happy angel of the stars, what a handsome setting, it belongs to me.

However, when I was designing, I found that if you want to write a romance that breaks through the prison and tombstone and returns to the high heavens from the abyss, the text you need is definitely not something that can be written in one copy, there are too many things to write in the Extremely Dark Abyss Volume, Sages, the Seven Gods, the Vortex of Creation and Joshua's Enlightenment all need words, the setting of this copy is very good, but it can't be used, and if you force it to write, it will become procrastinated, and the plot will be weak.

Therefore, in the case of monsters that are killed and will die, I have once again enriched the archetypes of the heavens with the background of the original world of [Pioneer] and [Fate].

The universe set sail by the light, the future guided by fate, is the background of the high heavens—just like the contradiction and unity between the prophet and the herald, I originally intended to use this copy as the original world of the herald, plus a large copy of the nature of part of the fate from the side.

Just like the universe created by Su Sun in the fifth movement written at the end of the volume "Out of Eden", "Born in Love and Faith", the background color of that universe is actually a part of the rehearsal of "Above the Heavens".

But I still haven't written about the world.

Because when I was designing, I once again found that if I wanted to write about the difference between a pioneer and a prophet, if I wanted to write about the intersection of exploration and fate, if I wanted to write about eternal reincarnation, and if I wanted to write about the difference between 'reincarnation', 'perfection' and 'farther away', it is definitely not something that can be solved by a large copy of hundreds of thousands of words.

High in the sky, it deserves me to write a separate book for it.

With that in mind, Ian was born.

But unlike what everyone thinks, Ian was not actually the protagonist of the sky from the beginning.

He is the biggest mastermind behind the [Above the Sky Series], the future sage who created the background of all the stories, and the great predecessor of the time-traveler who solved all the old crises and ruined disasters in the entire universe.

He is the eternal of the 'Eternal Heavenly Fire', the 'forerunner' who has been out of this universe for thousands of years, whose name is on the verge of being forgotten, and who is regarded as part of the myth.

In the original design, the protagonist and his party gradually chased Ian's path, revealing the truth behind the cosmic anomalies such as 'space-time quakes' and 'parallel universe intertwining', and then, gradually discovering that the star god and the final Yan transcended time and space, spanning the past and future wars, and finally caught up with Ian's back, and stood side by side with this 'pioneer who guided the future' to face the never-ending 'great enemy'.

Old friends who have read the Soul of Burning Steel will surely feel familiar: alas, isn't this Joshua and the Sage? Soul of Burning Steel MKII?

It's just a little more optimized, and the friendly unit has become a future sage!

Yes, that's why the high heavens are now the story that you see, because I feel like I've written this routine and want to change my mind.

Moreover, as the design of the High Heaven World became more and more perfect, and the designs about Ian became more and more abundant, I couldn't help but think, instead of writing the High Heaven and then coming back to write the High Heaven Prequel, then why couldn't I write the Prequel first?

The reason for the birth of the Holy Terra Federation (in fact, the setting of the Holy Terra Federation and the Heart of Terra appeared earlier than the book High Heaven, and the relevant settings are available on the live broadcast number of Station B), why did the Eternal King go on an expedition to the stars, hidden behind the story, the source of the story of the future sage...... I could have written about him first.

And so there is this book of heaven that you see now.

Although it wasn't written until the final EX chapter, in fact, before the book opened, there was a scene and mission about 'Elan' already thought about, he didn't have much plot in the whole book above the sky, he was just a follower of Ian's great cause, but he didn't have to do anything because his fate was in the distant future.

Eternal Heavenly Fire, in fact, was originally called the 'Eternal Expedition', which means the essence of human life and civilization, which is an eternal expedition to the endless future and the unknown (this is Gaita!). The reason why it was changed to Skyfire is because I AC6 (Armor Core 6, good game, mecha fans can try it!) I've played a lot.,I feel like the fire is very handsome.,The fire can also mean the stars.,Anyway, the meaning is pretty much the same.,I'm essentially a super machine warrior.,Friends who understand just read the two chapters of EX.,I just wrote it according to the background of the machine war.。

If you have to talk about earlier inspiration, Ian's 'eternal reincarnation' element is also related to a sci-fi short story I wrote in 2011 related to Red Alert, called [Science Fiction Brain Hole Record: Prison Star Prison] (just look at the name), on LOFTER, Baidu should also be able to search it, a small short story written very early.

Above, these designs were actually done in the middle of the monster kill. Yes, I've always been like this, and before I'm halfway through a book, I'm already thinking about the next one.

It is precisely because of this that there are a lot of small easter eggs about Ian in the monster killing, for example, the 'pioneer space' has always been clearly stated that it has no direct relationship with the pioneer, the pioneer space is crazy and prostitutes, Su Sun is convenient, and there is a visitor in the Hedao Tavern in the seal of the final Huan Town who is earlier than Su Sun, and the pioneer space has been secretly awakening other great beings, and it seems to have its own plans...... Yes, those are Ian.

In the 'iceberg under the sea' hidden behind the monster killing, Ian has actually been trying to solve the 'multiverse true spirit', and the pioneer space's 'Awakening Greatness' series of missions aims to take over the primordial world of many great beings, and through these different multiple foundations, let the pioneer space completely replace the true spirit that sealed the multiverse.

In this way, even if you are not a transcendent, you can easily solve the true spirit disaster, and at most it will take a little more time.

To this end, Ian also invested in Su Sun, and the pioneer space has been trying to pull Su Sun into the gang, and finally did form an alliance with Candle Dayday - but Ian never expected that when his plan was advancing well, Su Sun, the core of the original backup plan, ran to explode with the multiverse True Spirit.

Although the result can be called gratifying, it has also led to many uncontrollable results after all, and this result has led to the background of [Next Book] (not High Heaven 2), about the 'unsealing of monsters and abysses'.

This is also the real reason why Ian didn't show much in the monster killing story, behind the monster killing, the real monster fragments lurking in the shadows were solved by Ian and the pioneer space, so Su Sun could upgrade so smoothly, and he could deal with the real spirit of the multiverse, which was about to become a monster, without hindrance.

This is probably the incomparably complex source of the high heavens.

My best friend once told me that Above the Sky is undoubtedly the most suitable work for me, and it is the book that best suits me - Western fantasy background, sci-fi background, post-apocalyptic civilization revival, sword and magic, creature modification, mad brawl, strong showdown, essential super robot wars, and various sci-fi memes.

FOR EXAMPLE, THE STAR GOD AND THE END ARE THE SHADOWS OF ZELI AND THE LIGHTENON BIRD, FOR EXAMPLE, THE RING OF INFINITY IS THE ELECTRONIC CHANNEL IN THE GODS THEMSELVES, FOR EXAMPLE, THE CRADLE IS THE POCKET UNIVERSE IN XEELEE, AND SOME OTHER MORE WELL-KNOWN SCIENCE FICTION WORKS...... To be honest, I admire my ability to pay tribute, I'm just amazing.

In short, he was right, I did have endless inspiration when I wrote about the heavens, every appearance of the world was reflected in my mind, and all the details and all the scenery seemed to me to be able to see with my own eyes, which is not a good thing for the reader, because I saw all this so clearly, so the details I wrote seemed complicated and redundant.

The customs of the various places, the food, the scenery, the customs and perceptions of the locals, and the details of the land of Terra are unnecessary for a book, but they are very pleasant for me.

But if it is said that the high heaven is my limit, I do not agree with this judgment, because I am still moving forward, so no matter what, I will try to go further in the 'next book', which is the hazy determination that I did not understand before writing the high heaven, and it is also the power that this book gives to the creator 'me'.

Here, let's go back and look at the book above the heavens.

As stated in the Preface to the New Book: Curiosity, written at the end of the Monster Slayer, Ian's journey is always born of curiosity.

Curiosity is what makes Ian everything, he is always looking for answers to his questions, the end of the road, the end of the future and the other side of the sea of stars, this is an extraordinary quality, and it is the essence of his true nature.

Out of curiosity, the boy stepped forward, he explored, took risks, went through tens of thousands of reincarnations, gave up perfection and fate, became a pioneer from a prophet, and finally, he recovered his lost stars and reascended to the heavens.

The story of [The Sage Who Guides the Future] has come to an end, but Ian's story continues, and the story of the heavens continues.

After writing this book in 440w words, I did perceive my progress and shortcomings, which are like people who know how to drink water and how warm they are, and I gradually discovered my comfort zone, my creative habits, characteristics and some shortcomings.

There are some things that I don't plan to change, because that's what makes me a writer, such as the battle of burning steel, the discernment of monster killing, and the terroir and dreams of the heavens. I'm just for the vinegar-wrapped dumplings, and I really can't write anything without these vinegars.

But there are some flaws that must be made up, such as the super-long battle of burning steel of 100,000 words, the endless super-long discernment of monster killing, and the ubiquitous setting of the high heavens - vinegar is indeed there, but too much will sour teeth, showing characteristics does not mean that the characteristics cannot be written better, rather, it is precisely because I want to write these features, so that readers like these features more, so I have to improve my own defects, and change these bad places.

I've changed a lot, but as long as I keep writing, new problems will arise, and that's the trouble of moving forward.
