Chapter 11 The Invisible Body

It was only three days after the return of the Imperial Royal First Guards that the Central Turko received its first approximate information on the operation in El Salvador.

Because the content of the information obtained was so appalling, both Lorraine and Schultz made a decision at the same time that violated the principles of intelligence work.

At the same time, they asked the other intelligence officers who had been promoted to work in the Central Special Branch to stop all other work and verify the battle report from the First Guards at all costs.

The power of the Central Special Branch is still not strong enough until now. The progress of intelligence work is by no means an overnight thing, and any intelligence agency that wants to succeed should first have a group of intelligence agents who are willing to give their lives to the organization.

And these intelligence officers developed by the Central Special Branch...... Even Schultz was not sure if they were really loyal to the organization. The reason is also simple - they have been developed for too short a time.

Dussandism had an appeal in the socio-political context of the empire that no other political proposition could simply match. The detailed description between the four propositions directly reveals to the reader a different social formation that has never appeared before in human history.

It was a society without an emperor, without an aristocracy, without a privileged class. All men are created equal and are not discriminated against on the basis of sex, colour or religion.

One...... The purpose of the ruler's existence is to unite and lead everyone to strive for a better life, not to lie on people's stomach and tear their flesh and blood to feed their society.

Such a vision may sound a little too idealistic, but it alone is enough to attract a large group of people.

Most of them were highly educated people who had seen it firsthand and were able to understand the fact that "the suffering of the people came from the royal family", and at the same time deeply sympathized with the plight of the poor.

Others are victims of direct royal oppression. There was a bit of a gap between them and the highly educated informants, but they were even more determined to fight โ€“ they would do anything if they could overthrow the royal family and let the nobles who had ruined their families hang themselves on gas lamps.

There is some inherent mistrust between these two parts of the intelligence officers. Highly educated intelligence officers consider these comrades from poor backgrounds to be of a relatively low level, with nothing but anger - they lack sufficient skills to blend in with the class of the person who has the information, and they are unable to distinguish whether what the other party is saying is a joke or real information, and they are unable to approach the information of value through themselves.

After all, whether it is the imperial palace, the military department, or the residence of the financial minister, these places will not easily allow a poor person to approach.

In other words, the "elite intelligence officers" agreed that these uneducated comrades would probably be of no use other than to fight โ€“ they would only do bad things.

And the intelligence officers who came from a poor background also have a lot of opinions about those elite comrades.

The opinions were mainly focused on the issue of style. As the agents of the Central Special Branch, who were determined to overthrow the royal rule and eliminate all the nobles and privileged classes, they could not believe it in any way...... Those who are themselves privileged can be trusted companions.

But no matter which side it is, after receiving direct orders from Lorraine and Schultz, they all use their own methods to gather information. With their joint efforts, pieces of the intelligence puzzle gradually surfaced and were sent to the analysis room of the Central Special Branch.

The intelligence gathering lasted for two weeks, and Lorraine and Schultz finally came to a conclusion with the help of the information they had on their hands.

The former capital of the Alliance, the heart of the Sanctuary, Salvador, has disappeared, and its disappearance is directly related to the actions of the Empire's First Royal Guard.

There are eight main pieces of information in support of this judgment, one from the Palace, the Imperial Military Department, the Prime Minister's Office, the Finance Minister's Office, the Imperial Daily Editorial Office, the braggadocio testimony of sailors in two taverns, and one report from a smuggler.

In the palace, His Majesty Alfred, who was nineteen years old, seemed to be in a good mood. He convened six balls in a row in the palace, and in four of them he drank to the point of losing his temper.

The Imperial Military Department issued an order to adjust the deployment, and the Royal Guards and task forces near the direction of the Alliance Sanctuary all pressed forward and directly pressed in the direction of Tasbar. It seems that they have completely stopped worrying about the threat of the fleet from the Sanctuary.

The Prime Minister's Office and the Finance Minister's Office have been in close communication recently, and the Finance Minister has channelled about two million gold pounds in cash to be paid to the "alpha department" of the mining complex, in accordance with the Prime Minister's instructions. The money paid is a "bonus" and a "second instalment".

The editorial board of the Imperial Journal received a direct order from the administration not to "report in any way, directly or indirectly, on the results of the Reich's war against the Alliance". This requirement is clearly at odds with the Reichsdrietal's long-standing coverage of the war and its lengthy coverage of its own victories. In order to fulfill the requirements of the administration, the editorial board of the Imperial Daily finally decided to reduce the size of the publication from the original three pages and twelve sides to two pages and eight sides.

In the two taverns, the sailors who came to drink broke out four brawls with the army, and the reason for the brawl came from the sailors' taunts of the army soldiers, which roughly meant "the enemy you have used for hundreds of years and died I don't know how many people have not killed, and we have taken care of it - the existence of the army is a waste of imperial funds, you better hurry up and die." โ€

In the end, the smugglers of the planet Salvador who tried to make their way to the Sanctuary and the second largest planet, Mystal, gave a fundamental report.

The planets that used to be in orbit in El Salvador no longer exist, and all the planets in the Mystal system are out of track. In the original orbit of Mystal Star, there was an intransient body, blue all over, surrounded by a large number of meteorite fragments that spiraled down towards the object - the observer who observed this sight was blinded, and the gold-coated observation glass did not protect his eyes.

"According to the smuggler's account......" Dussander looked at the Central Special Branch report in his office, and in order to interpret it, he invited the astronomy professors at Newsal University to discuss it. And the result of the discussion...... It's dizzying.

"That immortal body obviously has a tremendous mass, according to our estimates...... Its mass is approximately equal to 1.6 newsals. "If such a celestial body suddenly appeared in the Mystal orbit, the poor colony would be torn to pieces in an instant, and then gravitationally dragged into the body and become a part of it." โ€

The Empire is clearly not supposed to have the ability to control a neutron star or a white dwarf. This was Dussand's direct judgment, but he vaguely felt ...... The tragic fate of Mystal may have something to do with the Empire's Alpha Project and the vanished El Salvador.
