Chapter 202: Bujin Temple
Shewei country, Bujin Monastery.
This temple is not small or small, there is a glazed blue tile plate dragon top, and there is a half-new and half-old eight-character red wall on the periphery. There is a pine canopy on the side of the wall, and the stream gurgles through the temple.
Bujin Temple has a long history, and there are some allusions in Buddhist scriptures.
There is a sentence in the Diamond Sutra "If I hear it, the Buddha is in the country for a while, and the tree is given to the lonely garden", and the "garden" is the Bujin Temple.
There was a wealthy, powerful, learned, and virtuous man named Sudatta, who often gave to the poor, so they called him 'to the lonely elderly'.
For the lonely elderly, they want to buy this garden from Prince Gida, build a house in it, and invite the World-Honored One to come and preach the Dharma. At first, the prince pretended to refuse, saying that he would sell it to you only because he would take gold to cover the land of this garden.
And he gave the lonely old man all the gold he had in his house and spread it on the garden floor. The prince of Gida saw that he was very sincere, so he gave him this garden, and the prince gave alms to the land that had not yet been clothed with gold and the woods in the garden, and the two of them jointly offered to the Buddhist monks, so it was called the Bujin Temple.
A year ago, one night.
There was a gorgeously dressed woman in the palace of Tianzhu Kingdom who was blown to the Bujin Temple by a strange wind, and happened to be hit by the old courtyard master who was out of Gong.
The woman was so beautiful that even the old courtyard owner who had settled on his Zen heart had some ripples in his heart, if it weren't for the old body, maybe he would have some evil thoughts.
I saw her bright eyes and bright teeth, long black hair, and Luo Yu embroidered skirt, which was really called "the people on the edge are like the moon, and the wrists are frosty and snowy." ”
In the middle of the night, the vicinity of this Bujin Temple is also a barren mountain range, and the old courtyard owner only thinks that he has encountered a female goblin who absorbs people's yang energy, and hurriedly sits cross-legged in place and recites the Dharma, begging the Buddha for blessing.
But the woman was also very frightened, and in fear, she huddled in a corner with her legs in her arms and cried.
The old courtyard owner felt that this female goblin was so powerful at that time, and he even used such a means to seduce himself, if he hadn't seen a lot, I'm afraid he would have been deceived.
The two were in a stalemate all night, the woman was shivering by the night wind, and the old master's face was also pale.
After the sun rose, the old courtyard owner breathed a sigh of relief, and when he looked at the woman again, she had already fainted.
The old owner knew that he had thought too much last night, and he froze all night, so he hurriedly rescued the woman back into the room, and after using the medicinal soup, the woman woke up and told him about her life experience.
It turned out that this woman was the princess of Tianzhu Kingdom, and when she was enjoying the flowers in the moonlight at night, she was blown here by a strange wind.
Although the old master of the courtyard was suspicious, he still left a prison room for the woman to live in temporarily, in order to prevent her beauty from being coveted by the monks in the temple and defiled by others, he told the other monks that there was a monster tied up in the prison room, and ordered everyone not to approach.
The princess was also clever enough to understand what the old man meant, and in this temple full of men, she was also worried about her innocence, so she pretended to be crazy and stupid, urinated on the bed, and pulled her in the house, so that the prison room stinked, and no one wanted to come close.
During the day, he talked nonsense and was demented, but in the dead of night, he cried sadly because he missed his parents.
The old courtyard owner also wanted to send the woman back to the capital of Tianzhu Kingdom, but he went to the city to inquire, and the princess of Tianzhu Kingdom is now living well in the palace and is not missing.
This discovery made it a little difficult for the old courtyard owner to judge the truth, so he had to keep the woman in this way.
On this day, under the green shadow of the green mountains, a white horse was pulling a strange carriage towards the Bujin Temple.
"Master, look, there's a temple ahead!"
Sun Wukong pointed to the Bujin Temple and reminded that after staying in the car for a long time, he was a little impatient and wanted to get out of the car to play.
Xuanzang's divine sense swept over, and he knew that he was about to arrive in Tianzhu Kingdom, and the rabbit head of the jade rabbit spirit had been hungry for a long time, if it was eaten, would the Chang'e Fairy and Taiyin Xingjun be like thunder?
Xuanzang thought of this, ordered to stop, and then slowly walked to the front of the temple gate of Nabujin Temple.
"Clumsy, clumsy, clumsy!"
The wooden door was pushed open with a "crunch", and out came a very tall young monk, with white and thin faces, like a bamboo pole.
"Nan Wu Amitabha, this elder, is there something wrong?" asked Gao Zhuzhu with his palms together.
Xuanzang also folded his hands and saluted back, "The poor monk is a monk who went to the West Heaven from the Tang Dynasty in the East to learn scriptures, passing by the treasure temple, wanting to come and borrow a night, and leave tomorrow!"
"Elders, please come in!" Gao Zhupole pushed open a door, and then lowered his body to lead the way.
"Excuse me!"
"Our old master often says that only by accumulating good deeds can we better practice, and besides, we are also like-minded, you are still visitors from the Celestial Empire, and you should be entertained. Gao Zhupole said as he led the way in front.
After entering the temple, I found that there were many low fruit trees planted in it, and it was the time to bear fruit, and the small red fruits hung on the trees, so I thought about the small lanterns one by one.
Zhu Bajie didn't treat himself as an outsider, so he grabbed two fruits and chewed them in his mouth.
Gao Zhugan heard the movement behind him, glanced back at Zhu Bajie, his lips twitched, and he didn't say anything.
Xuanzang felt that his face had been lost by this pig's head, and he turned around with an iron fist of love.
"Boom!"
Zhu Bajie covered his head and his face was distorted in pain, but under the threat of Xuanzang's eyes, he didn't dare to make the slightest sound.
Gao Zhugan glanced back curiously and asked, "Elder, what happened to the 'bang' just now?"
"Hehe, it's nothing, just now a mosquito flew to my old pig's head, and it was a little harder, which made you smile!" Zhu Bajie hurriedly came out to explain, and looked at Xuanzang timidly after finishing speaking, for fear that he would be recorded in the small book by the master.
Because Master has been talking a lot in his dreams recently, what braised pork, pork knuckle or something comes out of his mouth, which has made him very insecure recently, and he quickly jumped out to remedy something wrong.
The old master of the courtyard received everyone, and prepared a fairly sumptuous meal, and there were many small fruits grown in the yard on the table.
"This is a sweet berry, the locals also call it 'Suwei fruit', it is our specialty fruit here, the elders use it more, and the little monks in the temple are tired of eating it!" the old courtyard owner greeted very warmly.
Xuanzang smiled and nodded, picked up a fruit, put it in his mouth and tasted it.
The fruity flavor is very rich, with a slightly spicy ginger flavor and some astringent sweetness, which is generally a good taste of wild fruit.
After the fast, the old house owner arranged a place for everyone to live, and then took the initiative to invite Xuanzang to go for a walk and exchange some Buddhist scriptures by the way.
The moonlight is like washing, illuminating the white stone floor in the temple transparently, reflecting a faint fluorescence, setting off the dwarf trees and rockeries in the flower beds, which is very interesting.
Xuanzang and the old courtyard master walked in the temple, talking about some past observations, and the insights in the Buddhist scriptures were not mentioned.
After entering the backyard, the old courtyard master waved away the little monk who had followed all the way, and then turned around and bowed down to Xuanzang.
