Chapter 60: The King of Guessing Puzzles
"Little one, I'm the one you're looking for!" said Stoneface, staring at Rogge with a pair of piercing eyes.
Rogge frowned and looked at the old stone face, glanced back at Lilith and asked, "It said little one?
"It's calling you, big idiot!" Lilith said with a look of disgust.
Rogge looked at her with slanted eyebrows, looked up at the stone face and asked, "You call me little guy, am I that small?"
"Of course, you're not even big enough to fill the wrinkles on my face. The stone-faced man leaned against the old man and looked at Rogge and said.
"I'll admit it, your old face can't be filled even if it is stuffed into a mountain!" Rogge shrugged and sneered.
"Don't me off!" Stoneface suddenly opened his mouth and roared at him, and a gust of wind swept in his face, sending Rog back a few steps back.
He wiped his face with a frown, looked up at the stone face and said, "You really don't pay attention to etiquette, do you have something to wipe the saliva on my face?"
"That little bird told me you wanted to enter this warehouse, right?" asked Stoneface, ignoring his teasing, staring at him solemnly.
Rogge glared back at the little owl and whispered, "How did you tell him the truth? We're here to steal!"
"I'm just here to step on it, just figure out how to get in, it's your business to steal or not!" the little owl snorted unconvinced.
"Oh my God, what kind of bird teammate!" Rog looked at her with a smile, looked up at Stoneface and said, "Well, since the little traitor has told you the truth, I have nothing more to say, let's say, how can you let us in?"
"As long as you answer my three questions correctly, I'll let you in!" Stoneface smiled meaningfully, "Attention, you only have one chance for each question!"
"Such an old trick, you want to stop me, let the horse come, let you see the power of the guessing king!" Rogge calmly took out a cigar from his waist, struck a match, lit a wisp of green smoke, took a soft breath, and waited for the stone face to come up with the question.
"The first question is very simple, listen up," Stoneface said in a deep voice, "who is the Titans to you?"
"Yes......" Rogge almost blurted out, and swallowed the words again, he wanted to answer that it was a giant, but he felt that the question could not be so simple.
He searched in his mind for information about the Titans, who were originally a branch of the gods who once ruled the entire continent, but later because of their disobedience to the gods, they had a war with the gods, and after the defeat, they were expelled to the ice island to live in seclusion.
The word god-man crossed his mind, but he felt it was far-fetched, because they were just god-like gods, and had no human blood.
He lowered his head and smoked a cigar, stared at the ground under his feet, chewed on the question raised by the stone face in his mind, and suddenly heard the little owl on his shoulder ask impatiently: "Can you think about it quickly? I want to go back to the banquet hall early to see if I can catch the last dessert of the banquet!"
"Banquet hall?" Rog was stunned for a moment, his eyes staring at the huge floor tiles beneath his feet, and the matter of Tyrell's entertaining guests in the banquet hall suddenly came to his mind.
Rogge had a flash of inspiration, raised his head and smiled confidently: "I know the answer, for me, the Titan is the master of this place!"
Stoneface stared at him for a moment, and suddenly showed a mischievous smile: "You didn't fall into the trap, the simpler the question, the more complicated people will think!
"Thank you for your hospitality, so please tell me the second question!" Rogge smiled and spat out a smoke ring and nodded at the stone face.
"Listen, the second question is," Stoneface paused deliberately, and then said, "How many Titans are there in this hall?"
Before Rogge could start to think, the little owl on the side preemptively shouted, "Wow, this is such a difficult question, do you want me to count it for you?"
"Little fool, count your feathers, shut up!" Rogge poked his finger at the head of the little fur ball, raised his head and put the cigar in his mouth, pondered for a moment, and replied in a firm tone: "My answer is four." ”
"Four, are you kidding me?" asked Stoneface with an incredulous smile.
"Of course I'm serious, but this 'four' isn't four, it's four!" Rog said, holding out four fingers to him.
"According to my observations, there are only four Titans who can enter the main hall: Prince Tyrrell, the prince's high generals, the prince's attendants, and the prince's guard. ”
"Needless to say, His Royal Highness the Prince, the other three kinds of people all have their own identity cards, the identity cards of the senior generals are lightning bolts, the identity cards of the attendants are flowing water, and the identity cards of the guards are the spearheads of crossing, and people who do not have these identity cards cannot enter the main hall. Rogge said eloquently.
"I remember that the captain of the city who led the way for us when we first met left immediately after showing us the prince, and did not even dare to climb the steps in front of the main hall. ”
He stepped forward, stared at the stone face with his eyes like torches, and said word by word: "Finally, what you just asked was 'how many Titans' there are in the main hall, but you didn't ask me to explain how many or how many kinds there are!"
Stoneface stared at the corners of Rogge's sly mouth, and there seemed to be a kind of anger after being teased between his eyebrows, but Rogge quietly smoked the cigar in his mouth, indifferent to his seemingly angry expression, and looked like he had traveled all over the world with reason.
The two confronted each other for a moment, and the stone face suddenly laughed, and Rogge also showed a knowing smile when he saw this, only to hear the stone face smile: "You little guy, not only is you observant, but also very good at grasping words!
"Aren't you complimenting me, it seems that you are not convinced!" Roger smiled, lightly spat out the smoke ring and smiled: "I think you must be planning to take revenge on me in the third question, right?"
"Hmph, you're still very good at guessing people's minds!" Stoneface smiled with wide eyes, "That's right, listen to my third question, if you want to walk into this treasure trove behind me!"
"I'm listening!" replied softly, Rogge retracting his smile.
"The third question is, what is the weakness of humanity that the Titans don't have?" asked Stoneface with a serious expression.
Hearing this question, Rogge slowly tightened his brows, this question is too broad, if the first two still have clues to explore, then the last one is like looking for a needle in a haystack, there are too many weaknesses in human beings, and everyone has different weaknesses, it is simply uncountable.
"There must be something specific in his question, something that all humans have, but the Titans don't......" Rogge pondered, carefully ruling out human weaknesses, but he couldn't find an answer until the cigar in his mouth was about to burn out.
"Ouch!" Rogge's lips were burned by the red-hot cigar, and he woke up from his thoughts, dropping the reddened cigarette butt on the ground and rubbing his aching lips with his hands.
Seeing this, the little owl on the side jumped up in front of him, and asked in an unusually gentle voice, "Are you okay?"
Rog glanced back at her, seeing the endless care in her wide, glowing eyes, and then thinking of Lilith's own anxiety as she was frozen in the frost, and the feeling of collapse in her heart before she bowed her head and kissed her stiff little "corpse".
Then, the picture in his mind turned, and he remembered the indifference and calmness that Tyrell showed when he heard that his eldest brother Ted had been killed, which suddenly reminded him of the war a hundred years ago, when the human alliance was blocked by the dark wizards in the dark hills, it was the Titans' restraint against the dark wizards that broke the dark wizards' defenses.
"Humans have weaknesses that Titans don't?" Rogge raised his head and gently stepped on the cigarette butts emitting green smoke on the ground with his feet, looked at the stone face with a confident smile, and said in a resolute tone, "I know what it is!"
