Chapter 12: The Shark vs. the Lone Wolf
Taking advantage of Tully's churning water to repel the swarm of tiger sharks, Rog turned around and swam quickly to her mount, the Great White Shark.
He looked into the shark's eyes with a unique pair of diamond-shaped eyes, his pupils flashing with a strange light, and a strange purr faintly emitted in his throat, which sounded as if he was communicating with the shark in some kind of beast language.
After a few moments, the shark seemed to understand what Rog meant, and he spun Rog up and swam towards where Tali was, and as it rushed past Catherine, Rog pulled the girl on the back of the fish, causing Catherine to scream.
The galloping great white shark rushed straight at Tali like an arrow off the string, arching her mistress on her back, supporting her body with a hard dorsal fin, and swept her huge body in place, forcing the tiger shark back from the attack, opening its large mouth full of fangs and rushing towards the shark group.
Rogge, who was sitting behind the dorsal fin of the great white shark, pulled out a silver sword with cold light from behind his back, and accompanied the great white shark as it galloped, the dazzling silver light flashed through the throat of a mermaid pirate knight, and blood suddenly gushed out from the pirate's severed throat.
The other three pirates were furious and drove the tiger shark forward, and Rog leaned back to give way to the stabbing harpoon, grabbed the harpoon's gun and stabbed one of the pirates in the chest with a backhand.
He pulled out his blood-stained harpoon and threw it at another mermaid pirate with lightning speed, who was caught off guard by being stabbed in the head by a harpoon and flipped off the shark's back.
The only remaining Tiger Shark Rider was taken aback and hesitated slightly, and Tali, who was sitting in front of the Great White Shark, took the opportunity to wave her staff and draw a cross in the water, turning the water marks into a transparent bow and shooting a sharp transparent crystal arrow.
The Tiger Shark Knight couldn't dodge, and was instantly pierced through his chest by a crystal arrow, and his body was drifted on the spot, and the surrounding sea water was stained crimson with blood.
The mermaid pirate knights died one after another, causing the tiger shark to panic, and the great white shark took advantage of the situation to open its mouth and let out a roar that only the water tribe could hear, and the frightened tiger sharks hurriedly turned around and fled.
Seeing that the enemy was retreating, Tali ordered the Great White Shark to rise to the water level, detached from the blood-contaminated area, and watched Cell, Alice, and the remaining pirates beside them.
"Hell, where did that damn human come from?" Cell, looking up at the Great White Shark and the three men on its back, especially at Rog with anger, furious at him for being able to kill his elite men without much effort.
"I've heard that he's a witcher in the human kingdom. Alice turned back and whispered a reminder to her sweetheart.
Cell, sneering, gently pushed his little lover away, and shouted to the mermaid pirates behind him, "Follow me, let me see if this Mr. Witcher can defeat my 'Shark'!"
With that, he pounced on the three of them with a harpoon, and the mermaid pirates also swarmed up, only Alice remained in place, quietly watching the swarming pirate group.
Seeing everyone pounce, Tali pointed at the mermaid's staff, and several small dimensional doors appeared in front of the great white shark, and countless slender eels flew out of the dimensional gates, rushing straight towards the mermaids.
"Dodge them, don't get hit!" Cell, knowing the power of these eels, hurriedly turned sideways to avoid the impact of the eels, and detoured upwards from the side.
But his pirates were not so lucky, and many of the mermaid pirates were hit by the eels that flew like arrows, and they were instantly paralyzed by the strong electricity emitted by the eel's body, and their whole body sank to the bottom of the water with convulsions.
Avoiding the electric eel's fire, Cell's flank pounced on the front and stabbed Tali with a false shot, which dodged but Cell's fishtail flicked and pounced on Rog.
Rogge had already seen that the other party was coming at him, and the silver sword in his right hand stabbed straight ahead, and Cell's left arm covered with hard scales swung the blade of the sword and crashed into Rogge's arms.
Cell's powerful collision left Rog unsteady and broke away from the great white shark's back on his back, and each of them grabbed the other's right arm with their left hands, scuffling and sinking to the bottom of the water.
Cell's body was constantly slammed with the fishtail, but Rog's legs were more flexible, and he was able to successfully kick the fishtail away each time and then kick Cell's body, but the hard scales of Cell's tail protected him, and Rog's attacks did not hurt him.
Seeing that he couldn't defeat Rogge with brute force, Cell twisted and shook off Rog's arm, out of his range, cruising back and forth around him, looking for an opportunity to strike.
Passive, Rogge landed his body firmly on the street, looking up vigilantly at Cell, who swam back and forth with a long fishtail swinging overhead, like a falcon ready to launch a swoop.
"Come on, you birdfish who dare not land, see if I can peel the scales off your body!"
Rogge defiantly hooked his middle finger at Cell, although the pirate leader did not understand the human gesture, but he also knew that it would not be a kind action, he glared at Rogge angrily, and swooped down with a harpoon in his hand.
The harpoon pierced through the water and stabbed straight at Rogge, who stood still and did not have the slightest intention of dodging.
Seeing that the harpoon was already close at hand, Rogge suddenly jumped on the spot, the buoyancy of the sea water caused his body to instantly lift off the ground, and Cell's threw himself into the air, almost planting a dog to eat.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Rogge suddenly grabbed the end of his tail fin, clamped the fishtail with his legs, and threw his body backwards with a backward roll, Cell's tail was held by Rogge, and he couldn't control his body at all, although he shook the fishtail frantically, he still couldn't shake Rogge away.
The inertia of the shaking made the bodies of the two of them spin rapidly in the water, and the high-speed gynam made both of them dizzy, Rogge closed his eyes and silently calculated the timing of letting go, suddenly let go of his hands and feet and threw Cell's hand and foot towards the opposite house, and he fell backwards with the momentum, curled up and sank to the bottom of the water.
Thrown Cell, he slammed headlong into the house, knocking the wall out of a large hole and disappearing into the darkness inside the large hole.
Rogge shook his still dizzy head, raised his head to look in the direction where Cell had disappeared, and didn't see Cell appear, so he strode forward, using the buoyancy of the sea water to get close to the hole that Cell had smashed out, and looked inside.
Caught off guard, a sharp harpoon suddenly protruded from the hole and stabbed Rogge in the chest.
Rog retreated sharply on his feet, his back avoiding the harpoon, but he was suddenly slammed into his chest, and he fell backwards with unsteady steps, and the pirate leader Cell, who rushed forward and grabbed Rogge by the neck with his duck-like claws, and pinned him to the ground.
The pirate leader raised the steel fork in his hand and aimed it at Rogge's chest and was about to stab it, when Rogge suddenly shook his head and whistled, only to see his dark blue wide-brimmed hat fall off his head, and a small furball jumped out of it and sat on Rogge's face.
The light that shot out of the eyes of the little owl Lilith instantly made the pirate leader Cell's whole body stiff and unable to move, and Rogge knocked Sail to the ground with a punch, jumped up from the ground, and pierced Cell's chest with a sword in his hand.
He grabbed Cell's fishtail, dragged his body off the ground and loaded it in a circle, waving his hand at the distant house, where Cell's body slammed into the wall again, and the whole house collapsed.
"Thank you little baby, but can you not smash your little ass on my face next time, and your claws, how sharp they are, you know, I don't want to be disfigured at a young age!"
Rogge touched the spot on his face that was stung by the little owl's talons, and looked back at the little guy on his shoulder with a bitter face.
"Anyway, for you, disfigurement is already equal to beauty, and I haven't asked you to pay for the feathers on my tail that I knocked off to save you!" the little owl twisted his neck into a twist with an unconvinced expression, and looked back at Rog with a milky voice and sneered.
"I can't afford to mess with you, little princess!"
Rogge shrugged his brows helplessly, and suddenly heard a strange sound from the collapsed houses not far away, he looked back at the rubble, only to hear a loud noise, the houses on both sides of the rubble collapsed, and a giant beast's head roared out from under the collapsed houses.
