Let's report back on the results
It was put on the shelves yesterday, and today I will tell you about the results:
When it was put on the shelves, the collection was a full 6500, and after the shelves, about a dozen collections were dropped, and then the first order was 205, and the average order was 165.
The subscription ratio is almost 32, which is honestly very poor, because it is generally about 15 to 20, and the subscription ratio of more than 30 indicates that the paid conversion rate is indeed relatively low.
Of course, this is also the author's own problem, writing is not attractive enough to attract enough readers.
This result is certainly not worth mentioning compared to the first order of thousands or even tens of thousands of big guys, and even many authors may not write the book directly when they see this result, because if the subscription ratio is so poor, there is basically no follow-up recommendation.
Not recommending is basically a death sentence for a book.
Although I've only been writing for two months, it's already clear that the effect of recommendations is being felt.
Even if it's a small inconspicuous recommendation, it can rise by more than 100 collections a day, and sometimes not only does it not rise, but it also drops the collection.
But fortunately, my own mentality is still very stable.
Although there is a slight gap from expectations (I originally expected the subscription ratio to be more than 20, and the first order is about 300), but after all, it is the first time to write a book to the shelves, and there is no harm without comparison, so I am not too touched by this achievement.
Again, the book will definitely be written according to the plan, and it will definitely not be messy and eunuchs.
As I wrote in the book, I believe in Shenxiu's "always wipe diligently, don't cause dust", because I feel that I am not a gifted person, and I don't expect a book to become a god, I just hope to make progress slowly through continuous experimentation and learning.
This book is an attempt and a process of learning and progress.
To be honest, I was scared when I first invested in China, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to sign a contract, and I never thought that there would be so many recommendations until they were put on the shelves, let alone how many readers would subscribe.
Here, I would like to thank those book friends who are willing to tolerate the author's flaws, and thank you for subscribing.
It's a pity that I can't see the names of the book friends who subscribed here, so I can't list them one by one to express my gratitude, but I still want to express my gratitude to all the friends who are willing to spend money to read this book.
The author is also a bookworm who has been a bookworm for more than ten years, but I am ashamed to say that the genuine content I subscribe to is indeed very little.
From the original search and Yi search to the later UC, as well as the messy pavilion and a book city, I have basically left my footprints.
Because I really didn't have much money when I first started studying, I rarely patronized the genuine version.
Later, it may be because I was born from watching pirated copies, so I didn't develop a good habit of paying, and I rarely spent money on reading books.
After that, it was basically not much, because there were fewer and fewer books that could arouse interest.
I believe that old bookworms who have read a lot of books have this feeling, that is, why are there fewer and fewer good-looking ones on the market, how to flip over and over are all routine texts that can be seen through at a glance, what are the things on the list, why are the good books buried?
I don't understand the market logic behind this, because I don't specialize in this, but from my personal experience, it should be said that friends who read more books will have higher and higher requirements, so most of them can't get into the eye.
This has also prompted many book lovers to flock to the author market, and I am one of them.
If you can't find a book you're happy with, why not write your own?
It was a natural thought, and I thought it was very simple: That's it? I'll do it too!
But when I did it myself, I found that it wasn't like that.
Because the Internet has been developing for so many years, basically all themes and plots have appeared, and they are all new bottles of old wine, just a shell.
In addition, it is difficult to change the thinking from the reader to the author in a short period of time, which can also lead to many problems.
There is a very famous saying in the book circle, called "I am poisonous", which means that each reader's cool point and poisonous point are different, and sometimes even opposite, which I have felt deeply in just two months of writing the book.
Therefore, it is impossible to write a book that satisfies most people by writing a book with the reader's mind, which is why I frequently step on the pitfalls.
Because the starting point of what I wrote was that I would be cool and it would be over.
Later, I will try to restrain myself as much as possible, and slowly adjust my thinking from the reader to the author.
To get back to the point, as a newcomer's first book, I am already very satisfied that I can stick to the shelves and readers are willing to subscribe, so I will definitely write this book to the end as planned, at least to a million words.
Finally, thank you for your great support and thank you.
