Chapter 2 The Mysterious Note

He poked his head out of the woods, and when he saw the two policemen babbling into the woods, he quietly ran back to the beach. What's the matter with those two policemen? Why are you not allowed to come to the beach? It's really strange! Deng Ke turned around and saw if the policemen had gone away. Knowing that they wouldn't come back, he turned back. His eyes looked to a spot in the sea. Over the years, he had mustered up the courage to run to the beach more than once, and then looked straight into that place with his eyes intended. Every time, when he slowly walked into the sea, the water was off his ankles, his knees, his waist, until it was almost his neck, he would run back to the shore like crazy. And this time, he seems to have gained great courage because of the division of classes. His eyes were no longer as fearful as before, but full of determination. He believed that he would find the thing that had haunted him for so many years. He took off his white T-shirt and denim cropped pants and tossed his sports sandals aside. After closing his lips and taking a deep breath, he resolutely walked into the sea.

When Deng Ke was about to step one foot into the sea, a person suddenly appeared on the sea ten paces away from him. The man's hair was thick and long, as if it were still dirty, and it was mixed with the sea water and stuck to his face in strands, so that it was impossible to distinguish the appearance. His upper body was unclothed, his muscles were tense, and he looked quite strong. The lower body was wearing pants that looked like they were made of hemp, all wet, and they were heavily wrapped around the legs. Deng Ke was startled, he had never seen someone dressed like this, and he stayed there for a while. As soon as this person came out of the water, he saw Deng Ke, because at this time there was only one person on the beach. The man looked at the lamp Ke who was looking at him in a daze for a while, and then quickly ran towards the lamp Ke. Deng Ke was defenseless against this sudden move, staring at this yak-like man in panic and hurriedly retreating, but because of the speed of his upper body, his body lost his balance and sat on the beach at once. And this person seemed to run in front of Lamp Ke in an instant, but he didn't pounce on Lamp Ke, but quickly squatted down and put a small glass bottle into Lamp Ke's jeans pocket. Then he whispered to the frightened lamp Ke:

"Give this to the chief of the No. 1 police station here, and don't see it! Don't tell anyone about it, or I'll kill you!" After saying that, he jumped into the sea again and disappeared. Deng Ke saw that this person looked at him with an extremely fierce gaze before leaving, like a threat. Deng Ke couldn't believe that all this was true, and suddenly a man would come up in the sea and say that he was going to kill him. That man looked so vicious, if he didn't do what he said, he would definitely kill him. But why didn't he hand it over himself, why did he have to threaten Deng Ke to do this extremely simple thing? Deng Ke's brain was in chaos at the moment, he sat on the beach in a daze, staring blankly at the sea, until a few fishermen dragging fishing boats came to the beach, he came to his senses, and hurriedly dressed and went home.

"We've got our hands on this, Officer Karting. Don't ask anymore and do your own thing. Now, go out. With that, the director, who was sitting in the swivel chair, turned his body to the window in the back.

"But......" Karting wanted to say something, but he didn't have the chance, and the middle-aged cop had already dragged him out of the chief's office.

"This gorilla doesn't care if people live or die!" said Karting angrily to the middle-aged policeman who had been dragging him along.

"Saying that they already have a feasible plan, saying that they can't catch the murderer if they block the sea area, it's all!" he broke free from the middle-aged policeman's hand.

"Let's keep it a secret! Don't tell anyone! What is the purpose? Is it to make sure that more people go missing!" Karting couldn't help but throw his hat to the ground.

The middle-aged policeman picked up his hat, patted the dust on it, and said unhurriedly:

"There must be his own way up there, and we little people just do our own thing. We don't have the right to do what we want. What's the use of being in a hurry, don't be so reckless if you really want to solve this problem. You have to think about it quietly, maybe there is hope. With that, he hung his hat on the hook in the go-kart locker.

When he got home, he found himself hungry. After all, he woke up at 8 o'clock in the morning and went to school with just a glass of milk. After school, he was supposed to go home for lunch instead of running to the beach. It was already past two o'clock in the afternoon, and it would be time for dinner in another three hours. But at this time, Deng Ke was more eager to know the contents of the mysterious note, or he would go directly to the police station and hand the note to the chief, instead of running home. Although the man said that he was not allowed to look at it, the more he did so, the more attractive he became to the lamp, the more curious he became, and the more he wanted to know the contents of the note in the vial. He slammed the door shut, and wanted to walk quickly into his bedroom to find out, but he was suddenly startled by the smell of food, not only Deng Ke was in this room, but also Aunt Hua. Aunt Hua hurriedly walked out of the kitchen, still holding the half-peeled apple in her hand.

"Keke, why did you just come back? Mute has already returned. She said that you were in a different class, and after saying that, she went into the house to do her homework, and she didn't tell me clearly, "What the hell is going on with this child?"

"How did she know I was assigned to a class?" asked Deng Ke, who threw his shoes to the door and was ashamed and surprised.

"She didn't tell me clearly, the kid was doing his homework as soon as he came back, and she didn't know what was wrong. When I asked her how many exams she had, she didn't say anything, she definitely didn't do well. Otherwise, I wouldn't have eaten. Aunt Hua said as she threw the peeled apple into the trash.

Only then did he realize that he was not the only one who had missed lunch. He was a little disappointed and full of comfort and said:

"She was the worst and she could only get second, didn't she always take the first place? Don't worry, she might just be a little uncomfortable. With that, he sat down behind the table where the meal was set and devoured it.

"Hehe, you're such a good boy, mute that kid is willful. Aunt Hua was obviously waiting for the above words to be spoken, she put the peeled apple in front of Lamp Ke, and returned to the topic just now.

"What the hell is going on with your classes?"

"It is to put the bottom five of each class in the whole school in a class called class fourteen, which is the worst and worst class in the whole school. Deng Ke swallowed a large mouthful of rice and added with a red face.

"And ...... you?"

"Then I was placed in that class. After finishing this sentence quickly, Deng Ke lowered his head and concentrated on eating, not wanting to say another word.

Aunt Hua seemed to feel that her question had hit Deng Ke's self-esteem, so she didn't ask any more. In fact, she cares about Dengke very much, just like Dengke's biological mother. Every day, she would go to Dengke's house to cook for him or bring food from her own house for Dengke, although it was easy, she lived next door to Dengke. But for more than ten years, taking care of Dengke's daily life is enough to show how much she cares about Dengke. And Deng Ke seems to regard her as his mother, and he has been up from Aunt Hua's call since he was five years old. In the days when he had just lost his parents, Aunt Hua always held him in her arms and coaxed him to sleep, and he never even felt like an orphan. And for his poor grades, Aunt Hua never blamed him. Maybe she didn't want Dengke to be like her daughter, who became silent because of her studies. She said "don't run out again" and went home. Now all that was left in the house was the lamp Ke who was eating.
