93. Preaching and teaching
It wasn't until this evening that Cheng Jun saw Jing Shu again.
Cheng Jun was sitting in the main room, playing with the inconspicuous black banner in his hand, as soon as Jing Shu came in, he pushed the gold mountain and poured the jade pillar, knelt down in front of Cheng Jun, and said, "Thank you, Mr. for waking up." β
Cheng Jun raised his head and said, "If you can't figure it out, it will be in vain for others to wake up." β
Jing Shu said in a low voice: "I don't know if it's transparent, it's just that I feel that today is but yesterday is not." β
Cheng Jun said: "I thought you should figure it out." Otherwise, you won't come to the threshold of initiation in one day. As he spoke, he looked at him from top to bottom, and said, "Your qualifications are very good, if you had grown up safely all the way, you should have entered the Dao a long time ago, and even like those geniuses of the Dao, it is common for you to enter the Dao before the age of ten." It's just that in the past few years, there has been no one to guide me, and secondly, the heart knot is too heavy, so it has always lingered at the peak of fetal breath and has not entered that threshold. β
Jing Shu looked confused and said, "Although I feel that there is a change, I don't know what it means. After a pause, he bowed his head respectfully and said, "Ask Mr. for advice." β
Cheng Jun saw that he was sensitive, and said: "Originally, I had something to do with you, but since you have reached this threshold, we might as well enter the Dao first and then talk about other things." β
Jing Shu said: "If you have anything, just tell it." β
Cheng Jun shook his head and said, "I won't mention that in advance." Said: "You just said that although you have some feelings, you don't know what you mean, which is strange." I've read your file, and I'm practicing Zhengqing Xiaoyuan Gong. That is also one of the Dharma in the Daomen lineage. Although there are only five products, it is because of peace and integrity, broad and profound, and it is the best to lay a foundation. Since you have been taught in this way, you should have an idea of the initiation path, why don't you understand your own situation?"
Jing Shu said: "I only know that entering the Tao is a threshold, but I don't know how to step through it." I practiced what my teacher taught. When my teacher died, I was nine years old and didn't understand anything. Please also ask the gentleman for advice. β
Cheng Jun suddenly smiled: "You don't understand anything, that's not necessarily." At least you know how to call me 'sir.'" β
Jing Shu was stunned for a moment, and said: "Could it be that the younger generation is abrupt? The benefactor's orders before his death, I and other cultivators entered the Dao Gate, except for the master, called all the people who guide themselves in the path are called sir, I think although you have not instructed me in cultivation, but for me to have the grace of being the first to drink and enlighten, you should be called Mr. β
Cheng Jun nodded, this is the characteristic of the orthodox lineage in the Taoist sect, no matter what the surname is, many rules are impossible to find faults, even if he is young, Jing Shu also shows the characteristics of this aspect, and there is a big difference between Chong and a Taoist priest from a loose cultivation background.
That's fine, Cheng Jun said: "Since that's the case, I'll tell you." The cultivation realm of our monks is divided into four major heavens and earths, the [***] realm, and you must already know this. β
Jing Shu said: "Yes, my teacher taught me when I was a child. β
Cheng Jun said: "Don't talk about it from afar, just talk about it in front of you." Initiation is called the first level of all realms, but it is the first level of monks, and there is still a layer of fetal breath before entering the path. However, generally speaking, the fetal breath realm does not require special cultivation exercises, and all the exercises in the initiation period, including the true method, will be explained in the previous chapter. Since you have been cultivating for many years and have been polishing very well, you are naturally familiar with the exercises. It stands to reason that entering the Tao should be a matter of course. Even if you don't have the Master's guidance, you should know what to do next. β
When Jing Shu heard this, he showed a distressed look and said: "Although I did have to be taught by the master, first, my qualifications are reckless, and secondly, the master only taught me orally, not in words, and only asked me to cultivate fetal breath." As for going further, it was not taught. β
Cheng Jun was stunned for a moment, and then relieved, after all, Jing Shu was too young at the time, an eight-year-old child, if he came into contact with the Dao Law, he naturally had to rely on the master to teach him sentence by sentence and interpret it in detail. If you teach the difficult Taoist texts in one go, there is a misunderstanding, and the end is unpredictable.
However, in order to implement the next step smoothly, it is best to let Jing Shu enter the Tao, so Cheng Jun doesn't mind pointing him out a thing or two, it is not a big deal, although Cheng Jun does not have a natural treasure, but a normal entry into the Tao should be no problem.
Cheng Jun said: "If you want to, now is the right time." Your mind is open, your state is at its peak, and now it is easiest to enter the Dao, and it will be easier to open the spiritual aperture. β
Jing Shu said: "I heard that how many people who open the spiritual aperture also need qualifications, I don't know what my qualifications are?"
Cheng Jun said: "It should be good to think about it." "Although the qualification of the spirit is not as important as the immortal bone, if it is too inferior, it is also very troublesome. Especially unlike the immortal bones, which are generated by heaven and earth, experienced monks can see at a glance that if the spiritual aperture is not opened during the initiation period, no one will be able to see it.
It stands to reason that as long as a person has an immortal bone, he will generally open at least three or four spiritual apertures, and if the immortal bones are of high quality, the probability of spiritual apertures being penetrated will be higher. But that's something no one can say. It's not that there is no precedent for dividing the immortal bones well, being tired by only one or two spiritual apertures, and dying of old age in the initiation period. Cheng Jun naturally wouldn't cite this kind of example to ruin the fun at this time, so he only said it lightly.
Jing Shu was a little relieved, Cheng Jun said: "This mantra for entering the Tao is much the same, I haven't practiced Zhengqing Xiaoyuan Gong, but it is a branch of Taiqing Zhengqi Gong, and it is naturally in the same line, so I will teach you this method." β
The Dao Enlightenment Period Fa of all Dao Gates is nothing more than a deleted variant of several Dao Gong Exercises. Among them, Taiqing Zhengqi Gong is the most orthodox and basic exercise, known as the first gong of Taoism.
Of course, this first does not refer to the most powerful, but refers to the chronological order, that is, the oldest and most authentic exercises, which can be described as the abyss of the world's cultivation exercises. Because it is authentic, it is stable, and it is the most reliable method to build a foundation from scratch. However, because it is too basic and too positive, it lacks flexibility and surname, and the meaning of this exercise is difficult, it is not easy to comprehend, and the cultivation is slow, so it is gradually shelved as a "theoretical book". Most of the ones circulating outside are various simplified versions of this exercise, and Zhengqing Xiaoyuan Gong is also one of them. Of course, Cheng Jun can't remember that much, but the name of the general exercise is positive and clear, and it is said that it is a branch of this exercise, which is ** not far from ten.
It's just that Cheng Jun knows that if the Daomen Dao Palace discovers a disciple who is a true genius, even if he tries to make him enter the realm slowly, he still has to practice this Taiqing Zheng Qi Gong, just to have a good future in the future. Like casual cultivation, from the beginning, you start by specializing in the exercises of the five elements of your own life, and even if you are lucky enough to break through the threshold of foundation building, your future development will be limited.
Cheng Jun himself is practicing this technique now, and even if he has better exercises, he will put them to a higher level to practice. If you accept disciples in the future, you will naturally choose this exercise to enlighten them. However, Jing Shu is not his disciple now, and no one can say for sure what will happen in the future, so he did not teach this exercise, but only borrowed this exercise to enter the Tao, but it is only about 300 words.
It's just that these 300 or so words, the words are difficult and profound, and they also need to be explained by Cheng Jun sentence by sentence. Cheng Jun is such a cultivator, he explains it in simple terms, and he explains the truth very clearly.
Jing Shu listened, only felt eye-opening, when his master died, he was still young, but he also remembered, although he didn't know much, but he also felt that Cheng Jun was really erudite and clever, and he was far above his master. While listening intoxicated, he asked some questions, which were all questions that he couldn't figure out in his cultivation.
Cheng Jun listened to many of the questions he asked, although it was very naΓ―ve, but it was the reason for the lack of master's teaching, but some of the questions were also very unique, showing that he was thoughtful and qualified. But no matter what kind of questions are asked, they are always asked by children before the initiation period, and it is impossible to bring any trouble to Cheng Jun. Even if there is any trouble, it is because the level of this problem is too low, buried in the depths of Cheng Jun's memory, and it can't be adjusted for a while.
As he spoke, Cheng Jun raised his head and said, "You can come in too." β
Jing Shu was stunned, turned around, and sure enough, he saw a person standing at the door, it was Chonghe, and he couldn't help but feel a little unhappy in his heart, not that he was stingy and unwilling to let others listen, but that eavesdropping on preaching in the Taoist door is a taboo, much more serious than stealing things or even killing people, although he is not an old-fashioned monk, but this consciousness is there.
Not only does he have this awareness, Chong He also understands this truth, and the door between scattered cultivation is more strict, he has been mixed for many years, how can he not understand the truth? Now he is standing at the door, his face is red, and he looks at a loss, so he wants to find a crack in the ground to get into. Chong He had just passed by the door, and when he heard Cheng Junzheng and Jing Shu explain the Dao Fa, he didn't dare to listen carefully, and was about to turn around and leave, when a sentence floated into his ears, which was exactly the confusion of his usual cultivation. He was so captivated that he couldn't help but listen.
Although he felt guilty in his heart, he also wanted to leave after listening to this paragraph, but Cheng Jun said it was really very mysterious, after listening to one sentence, he couldn't help but listen to the second sentence again, the more he listened, the more he felt that his heart suddenly opened up, like a spring breeze, wonderful, just stopped one sentence after another, and listened to it for half an hour in a blink of an eye.
Since he was called by Cheng Jun, Chonghe couldn't be regarded as nothing, walked in, knelt down and saluted: "The seniors forgive the sins, the juniors are offended." β
If it was said yesterday, Jing Shu would have sarcastically mocked him twice, but now that his heart has been opened, he is not so mean, just looked at Cheng Jun, and said in his heart: Since Mr. is willing to teach me when he has not set a name, he is naturally an open-minded and easy-going master, and he must not care about these little things.
Although whether Cheng Jun is an easy-going and open-minded master is really a question worth discussing, Cheng Jun is obviously not angry and said, "It's okay." Sooner or later, you will understand, but now you only know it a few years in advance. If you want to listen, sit down. β
Chong He's excitement in his heart was uncontrollable, and he changed his kneeling posture to sitting upright, sitting next to Cheng Jun's hand and Jing Shu.
Cheng Jun smiled and continued to shout, this time it was not just about the knowledge of the Dao Initiation, but about the cultivation of the early stage of the Dao more broadly. This discussion was a whole night, and at first Jing Shu was the only one who asked questions, and later Chong He also joined the ranks of questions. Cheng Jun did not refuse, asked and answered ten, and he did not deliberately show off anything, but after so many years of cultivation experience, little by little, it turned into spring rain, moistening the two young hearts in front of him.
Unconsciously, Cheng Jun established his status as the elder in the hearts of the two for the first time.
It was only when the morning sun was rising and the golden light was everywhere that Cheng Jun stopped and asked Jing Shu, "Do you understand?"
Jing Shu replied honestly: "I know some, but I don't know much." β
Cheng Jun said: "Do you understand the matter of entering the Tao?"
Jing Shu said: "I already understand." β
Cheng Jun nodded and said, "That's it, now I'll arrange the formation and create a relatively suitable environment for you, you adjust your mood and prepare to enter the Dao." β
