Chapter 16: Exchanging Christmas Presents with Hermione

During the Christmas break, Shelley did not choose to stay in school.

He and Hermione had finished lunch before leaving by boat with the first-year students.

To Shelley's delight, the Christmas holiday is real and does not divert the original weekend time.

Therefore, there are more than ten days of vacation to take, which is the coolest vacation except for summer vacation.

At King's Cross station, the cold wind is blowing and the train has not yet arrived.

On the train, Hermione handed Shelley a beautifully wrapped box.

"Christmas presents." She smiled brightly: "Here you are given in advance." ”

Shelley opened the gift in front of him, and it was a box of exquisite chocolates. "Oh, thank you my dear Hermione, I love it!"

"What 'my dear Hermione'?"

"By the way, where did you buy the chocolate?"

"You don't have to worry about it."

"The Christmas present I gave you will be delivered on Christmas Day."

The train slowly approached the station, and there was silence in the carriage.

"Hermione!" Shelley.

"Huh?"

"Want a parting hug?" Shelley's heart beat slightly.

"Don't." Hermione stared hard at the white snow outside the window.

"Well, save it for later." Shelley noticed her shiny brown eyes and timid look.

"Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas!" Hermione spoke quickly, a little like she was answering questions.

She realized she was a little agitated and kept silent.

They got off the train with the other little wizards.

Parents looked around the station, and the first-year wizards happily met their families.

Draco Malfoy glanced at them as he passed, then walked over to a man with pale blonde hair, cold gray-blue eyes, and a pale, pointed face—it was his father, Lucius Malfoy.

Well, it doesn't look like a good guy.

They talked a few words and disappeared into the crowd.

Suddenly, Shelley and Hermione meet Shelley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joyce.

"This lovely little witch is—" Mr. Joyce smiled widely, and was very happy in his heart: Shelley had inherited his good genes!

Mrs. Joyce poked Mr. Joyce hard, and he instantly retracted his smile.

"Hello!" Mrs. Joyce smiled softly, "We are Shelley's parents......"

Mrs. Joyce was very enthusiastic, asking Hermione back and forth.

"Can I know your name?"

"Hermione Granger." Hermione shivered as she hid behind Shelley.

Finally, the Granger couple came over.

So the two pairs of parents quickly got acquainted.

Despite the kindness of the Grangers, Shelley felt a little intimidated.

Mr. and Mrs. Joyce and Mr. and Mrs. Granger had a good conversation, and then politely said goodbye.

Hermione was teased by her parents about her relationship with Shelley, making her eager to find a crack in the ground to get into.

……

It's December 25th, Christmas.

Hermione got up from the warm bed early and stretched her lower limbs.

In her pink pajamas, her slender white hands rubbed her sparse eyes.

I close my eyes again, as if I have just woken up from a good dream, and I want to pursue some aftertaste.

After a few moments, she came to her senses.

"I wonder what Shelley has prepared for me?"

She ran downstairs in a frenzy.

Christmas presents are quietly sitting by the Christmas tree.

All kinds of small bells, small lanterns and other ornaments are dressed up in dark green leaves, and the Christmas tree looks beautiful!

She opened the gift and found that none of them had been given by Shelley.

"I guess it hasn't been delivered yet." Hermione thought.

Mrs. Granger saw Hermione squatting next to the Christmas tree presents, and smiled and said, "Are you thinking about that little boy from yesterday?" What did he send you? ”

"He hasn't delivered it yet—" Hermione was stunned for a moment: "Absolutely not!" There's no way I'm going to think about him! ”

"Okay, dear, I understand." Mrs. Granger smiled and headed in the direction of the kitchen.

"Boom... Boom... Boom..."A grey forest owl banged on the window.

"Leo!" Hermione opened the window in two steps and took a beautiful box from the owl's talons.

"What could it be?" Hermione carefully unwrapped the gift box.

"Well, a copy of the Poet Bean's Tales, which looks hand-drawn." She held the book in her arms......
