Chapter 17: Returning Home

Following his whale friends, Bbright found a group of giant turtles, and from the mouth of one of the eldest, Brett learned the direction to Fish-Man Island.

Enthusiastic whale friends say they're going to send him back.

Bright guessed it was because there were still a number of whale barnacles that hadn't been detained for them.

But he didn't care, and he wasn't lonely on the way back with these friends.

And so he rode the whale on his way home.

Sometimes he frolicked with the big and small whales in the water, and sometimes he rode the jets of water that erupted into the sky as the whales rose to the surface to breathe.

It was a short, but joyful journey.

What could be happier than returning home with anticipation and meeting a group of good friends on the way?

However, this journey was indeed short, and Punk Hazard was already near the entrance to the New World, not far from the Red Earth, and Haag took Bright forward for a distance.

So soon, the huge red wall appeared in front of Bright's eyes.

"It's spectacular."

Standing on the head of his whale friend floating on the surface of the sea, Bright looked at the steep mountain wall that covered the sky in front of him, and sighed a little.

He still remembers the shock when he sneaked to the sea with Ah Long and them when he first saw the Red Earth Continent.

It's like he can't forget the excitement of the first time he really soaked in the sun, the amazement he felt when he saw the real blue sky for the first time.

Fishmen and merfolk live in this world, but they are never able to get close to it.

"Thank you."

Retracting his gaze from the Red Earth Continent, Bright crouched down and touched the skin on the top of the big whale's head, "It's time to say goodbye." ”

"Aang!"

Whale friends let out ethereal chirps, one after another, and the ringing continued.

"Don't you want me to go?"

Bright smiled, "It's a common thing, and I'm looking forward to the next reunion." ”

"We'll see you again."

"Aang!"

The whales still chirped reluctantly, but in the end, they said goodbye to Bright.

Saying goodbye to his friends who met on the way, Bright jumped into the water and headed for the deep sea without stopping.

It's already very close to Fish-Man Island, just go all the way down the Red Earth Continent and find the big hollow that leads to Fish-Man Island.

As for how to find a hole in the deep sea, just ask the fish that live nearby.

The further down it goes, the dimer the light becomes, but as a fish-man, Bright's pupils can adjust freely to the light in the sea, so he doesn't feel dark.

But when it came to the deepest and deepest part of the sea, all the light was blocked by the sea, and even Bright could see nothing.

But it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter if you can't tell the difference between southeast and northwest, you just need to keep going down.

It didn't take long for Bright to reach the bottom of the deep sea, the deepest part of the world at least 10,000 meters above the surface.

This may be how the physical fitness of the Fish-Men and the Merfolk comes from, living in such a deep-sea area, to resist strong pressure, of course, the body must be strong enough.

Although it was dark, Bright's sensing ability was barely able to do some good, and after finding a few fish and asking for directions, he sped in a certain direction.

Soon, he entered the huge cavern beneath the Red Earth Continent.

When I got here, there was a faint glow in the sea, and even the nearby water was warmer than outside.

It's finally here.

Bright was overjoyed, and sped up towards the source of the light in front of him.

Soon, in the distance, on the seabed, an island shrouded in sunlight appeared in front of Bright's eyes.

The light spilled down from above, and Brett knew that it was the sunlight sent by the legendary poplar Eve, and it was precisely because of its existence that Fish-Man Island had the basis for its existence.

As the distance got closer, the appearance of the island became clearer.

A huge bubble encloses the entire Fish-Man Island, blocking the seawater.

At this point, Bright was on the periphery of the bubble.

Generally speaking, if you want to enter Fish-Man Island, you need to go through the main entrance, and it is very dangerous to break into Fish-Man Island directly through the bubbles.

But the danger is that for outsiders, for humans, it is more convenient for natives like Bright.

He walked straight through the bubble, and then in front of him was a wide space, and then in front of him was another blue wall.

That's where the danger of outsiders breaking in directly.

The coating will come off when it enters the initial air area, and the ship will fall to pieces.

Even if they barely survived, the massive wall of water that lay in front of them was enough to make them desperate.

But of course, this is not an obstacle for Bright.

After easily passing through the sea layer, Bright finally returned to the interior of Fish-Man Island.

"It's been a long time!"

Bright couldn't help but stretch and take a deep breath.

I don't know if it's an illusion, but I feel that the air on Fish-Man Island is sweet.

Contrary to what most humans imagine, because of Eve's gift, Fish-Man Island even has blue skies and white clouds, at least to the naked eye it is no different from the sea.

Bright looked around for a moment, confirming where he was.

"Is it in the Sea Forest?"

Nice, right on the edge of Fish-Man Street.

After finding a little direction, Bright walked slowly in the direction of home.

The Umi no Forest is a coral forest in the middle of the sea, and even half of it is outside of Fish-Man Island.

There are two very important things in this forest.

The historical text of Joey Boeche's book of sins and the promised ark Noah are recorded.

But Bright is not interested, and he has seen things I don't know how many times since I was a child.

He was like an arrow at the moment.

Passing through layers of coral forests, and beyond a hilly area, a dark and dilapidated complex of buildings appeared in front of Bright.

The high part is exposed to the air, and the low part is soaked in water.

This is where Bright grew up, Fishman Street.

"I'm finally back."

Bright walked briskly, descending the hillside and finally stepping into the neighborhood.

It's been almost four years since I left here with Big Brother Tiger.

The injuries on his face have been recovered, not to mention returning home, at least not returning in embarrassment.

As soon as you come to Fishman Street, it immediately becomes lively.

Fish people can be seen everywhere on the dilapidated streets, gathering in twos and threes, chatting and bragging.

There is no property in Fishman Street, and the residents who live here are always idle.

The scenes that used to be boring made Bright feel very familiar at this time.

"You'reβ€”"

At this time, someone finally noticed Bright, and a fish-man exclaimed, "Bright! Are you Bright? ”

Bright glanced at him and greeted him with a smile, "Long time no see, Mark." ”

"It's really Bright!"

"The bad boy is back!"

"I heard you were taken alone? What happened next? ”

The fishmen enthusiastically gathered around.

The fishman named Mark said happily, "Bright, yesterday Boss Jinping and Big Brother Aaron were talking about when you will come back."

"Are they already back?" Bright was a little pleased.

"Well, I came back yesterday, and now I seem to have been summoned by Neptune, right?"

"Okay, I got it."

Bright smiled and nodded, "Then I'll go home and clean up first, and invite you to dinner when I'm free." ”

"Hahaha, then I'm not welcome." Mark laughed.

"Hey, and us, Bright!"

"Yes, yes, don't favor one over the other!"

The fish people joked.

After a few last pleasantries with his old acquaintances, Bright headed in the direction of his home.

Although he was an orphan and couldn't inherit any inheritance, Bright was a fool of himself with Tiger, so he had a house of his own in the neighborhood.

Built on the water, it is a rare house in the dark Fish-Man Street, and it is a small one-bedroom apartment.

Coming to his house with a familiar car, Bright took out the key and was about to open the door, only to remember that the key had long been lost.

Bright removed the door and stepped into his house.

"Huh?"

Unexpectedly, the room was very clean and the furniture was well organized, not at all like it had not been inhabited for years.

The corners of Bright's mouth hooked slightly, and his eyes were a little nostalgic, "That guy ......"

Walking into the bedroom, Bright opened the closet door, still wearing prison uniforms.

Not surprisingly, the clothes in the wardrobe are also well organized.

But when Bright wanted to take out a piece of clothing to change, he found that nearly four years had passed, and he had grown too much to wear the clothes of the past.

"Will you go to the shopping street later?"

Bright muttered.

Then he remembered that he was so poor that he couldn't even take out a Bailey from his body.

I have to borrow some money from Brother Jinping.

Bright slumped down on the couch in the living room, lazily closing his eyes.

Sure enough, I was relieved when I got home.
