Chapter 5: Treasure Discovery
On the second day of coming to Jiaoshi, Zheng Jing went out for a stroll early in the morning.
While strolling, he took out his mobile phone and filmed the material.
The street he went to yesterday was not found, and today he decided to go to another street.
He found that there were more agricultural machinery and equipment sold on this street, and he had a hunch in his heart that the treasure would not be here.
Walking through the entire street, he didn't find anything special.
If you want to say that there is, it is the Big Red Tower.
The Big Red Pagoda is a very famous building in Jiaoshi.
Because the stupas in Myanmar are all gilded, or real gold.
But this stupa is actually red, which looks more special.
Therefore, he specially reserved a thought and decided to wait until no one came here.
Noting this place, he came to the last street.
There are many shops in this street, and most of them are small shops, fruit shops, vegetables, rice noodles, and so on.
There are more pedestrians on this street, so he took a lot of footage.
He surveyed the buildings on both sides of the street, then compared the treasure map to see if there was anything like the one on the treasure map.
Unfortunately, he walked the entire street and didn't find the same pattern as the one on the treasure map.
In this way, it seems that the treasure is not hidden in the town, and the biggest possibility now is that the treasure is outside the town.
It's just that the area outside the town is so big, it's really hard to find.
There was no way, he had to find it if it was difficult to find, and in order to find the treasure as soon as possible, he drove out of town after lunch.
To the south of the town, there are patches of farmland, and although the weather is hot, there are still many people busy in the fields.
In the shade on the side of the road, a white cow pulls a plate station and eats grass on the roadside.
There are also a few children playing near the white cow.
Seeing this picture, he took out his mobile phone and took a picture of it.
Seeing the surrounding farmland, he parked his car on the side of the road and turned on the map function to see where it was better to go there first.
"Huh!"
Seeing a red dot on the map around him, Zheng Jing was stunned for a moment.
What is it?
When he went out of the city just now, he didn't see it, why did he actually have a thing when he left the city.
Thinking of the novels he had seen before, he had some guesses in his heart.
This point of light can't be where the treasure is, right?
He thought about it as soon as he thought about it, after all, this point of light would not appear sooner or later, but he only appeared here when he came, there must be a problem.
After looking at the distance and seeing that it was not very far, he decided to drive to see it.
Driving down a loess road from the asphalt road, in front of this road, a village comes into view.
Seeing the village in front of him, he opened the map and found that the location of the point of light was outside the village.
I don't know what kind of place it is.
In order not to attract attention, he parked his car under a large tree not far from the village.
With no one around, he took out his dogleg knife, metal detector, and folding shovel.
It was the hottest time of the day, and there was no one outside the village, and even if anyone saw him, he looked at him from a distance and left.
He nervously came to the place where the point of light was.
Here is a small dry river, I don't know when this river dried up, the riverbed has been dried up and cracked.
Coming to the spot where the point of light was, he turned on the metal detector and probed it.
"Didi, Didi!"
As soon as the metal detector was placed at the point of light, the metal detector sounded.
Hearing this voice, he couldn't help but be ecstatic in his heart.
There's something down here.
I don't know what is underneath, but there is a high probability that it is a treasure.
Now that it was bright and conspicuous, he decided to come in the dark.
Noting down the location, he trotted all the way back to the car.
Put everything into the space and start the vehicle out of here.
He decided to come over at night.
Back in the town of Jiaoshi, he opened the map and found that the point of light had disappeared.
He looked at the distance, could it be because of the distance?
Only when you are close to the treasure will it appear?
It's really possible.
You'll find out if you try a few more times later.
After looking at the time, it was still early before dark, and now he didn't know what to do for a while.
"Knock knock!"
On the way to the hotel, Zheng Jing suddenly saw the sound of gongs and drums beating in front of him.
Seeing that many cars in front of him had stopped, he couldn't help but get out of the car curiously.
When he saw what it was, he couldn't be happier.
I took out my phone and prepared to film the ceremony.
In the front, there is a group of children who are about to shave.
In Myanmar, when a child reaches a certain age, he or she goes to the temple to be a novice for a week, two weeks, or a few months or more.
Judging by the size of the team, the shaving ceremony should have been held in schools, streets, or villages.
There are generally three forms of shaving young boys in Burma: the first is shaving for a single family.
The second is for several families to join forces to shave their children.
The third is to do the shaving collectively in the streets (villages) and schools.
The third form is both cost-effective and stylish, and is the most used by the most people.
Walking in front was a boy of about ten years old, wearing a crown on his head, a royal robe, and a colorful ribbon on his shoulder, riding on a tall horse.
The reins of the horses were led, and the shaved children were held with golden umbrellas.
This is completely the style of an ancient prince on patrol.
The procession was huge, there were a lot of people, and there were many people watching the excitement on the side.
At the front of the procession was a group of girls wearing Buddhist flags and colorful national costumes.
Then there was the cart carrying the auspicious drum, from which the sound he had just heard had come from.
In the back is a Sazang Sutra protector who rides on the back of an elephant and covers it with a golden umbrella, holding an umbrella, a bowl, a mat and other monks' eight magic instruments.
In the back are the parents of the shaved children, relatives and friends, and the girl holding the betel nut box and the flower box.
The parade was accompanied by a band and the atmosphere was very lively.
There is also a dance team in this team, which consists of more than a dozen children walking and dancing, this dance is called the prince dance.
Seeing the procession go away, Zheng Jing realized how much faith the country believes in Buddhism.
As mentioned earlier, Myanmar is a Buddhist country, and except for some ethnic minorities, it can be said that the whole people believe in Buddhism.
Therefore, in Myanmar, boys are generally required to shave so that there will be successors to the cause of Buddhism, which is also considered to be a matter of accumulating virtue.
And for children with shaving, it is a very honorable thing to be "adults" and respected by society from now on.
For these children who are about to be ordained, they will be adults when they return from the temple, and they will be able to marry and have children in the future.
After the parade, in the evening, the parents of these children have to invite the troupe to sing and perform all night.
The people who came to watch the play sat on the ground on straw mats, and could watch and sleep for a while.
On the morning of the official shaving, a special car accompanied by drums around the local pagoda goes into the monastery to cut the children's hair, put on robes, listen to the precepts, and then give alms.
From that night on, the children lived in the temple and lived a life of novices.
On the third day, the parents will gather together and ask the teacher to recite the sutra in a makeshift shed.
Parents pour water from the cup into a flat plate, which is called a blessing.
It means that you have made merit for your child, and this merit cannot be obtained by yourself, but must be shared with everyone.
After the blessing, the shaving ceremony is completely over.
Burmese people believe that shaving a child is a way to accumulate virtue.
If you do this well, you will be able to get rid of all the troubles of the world and enter heaven in the next life.
So in Myanmar, if there is a boy in the family, the parents must shave the child no matter what.
Those who don't have a boy themselves often pay for the shaving of other people's children.
Therefore, when Burmese people see these pre-shaving processions, they will come forward to pray for blessings.
When the shaving team was far away, Zheng Jing returned to the car and prepared to leave.
