335 Athena's invitation
Reappeared, Merlen had found himself in a quiet wooded park.
It was still early, and the early morning mist was wafting around the park, and a petite black-haired girl was climbing on a tree, spilling some trivial bread crumbs into the nest of a flock of chicks.
Merron, who had appeared silently under the tree, looked up to see somewhere behind her that should have been wrapped in a loose black robe, tense from the posture of leaning over and pouting.
It seems that there is nothing to wear inside, and the appearance of small and delicate looks very round.
The shape looks pretty good.
Melen blinked at this, and did not bother her, but admired it openly.
For a while, the atmosphere in the forest park that should have been quiet and leisurely was quietly mixed with a touch of color, especially the girl named Athena was barely Melen's teacher.
However, the parties did not care about this.
It didn't take long for the girl who fed the young birds to notice the existence of the voyeur, but there was no shyness on her face, but she looked down at him a few times in a strange way.
It seems that he didn't expect that in the morning, Melen would come to him.
"Their mothers were accidentally roasted and eaten by me."
After slapping off some of the crumbs stuck to the palm of her hand, Athena jumped down from the tree, and when she looked at Melen with a pair of indifferent gray eyes, she explained softly, "Leave a bird daddy busy and strangely hard, so I come to help every day." β
"You're such a nice guy."
Meren said with a strange expression.
"It's mostly idle and boring."
The girl added, and her footsteps had come to Meren's side.
Then, as if she had discovered something, her little face was suddenly stunned, "You have an awkward quarrel with my aunt?" β
"Why do you say that?"
"You smelled of her before." The girl said, "Not now." β
What nonsense.
Mellen thought to herself.
He used to roll with Juliana a while ago, but every time he went out, he would use a cleaning charm, and the effect was cleaner than taking a bath, how could there be a residual smell?
But the special Melen in front of him had already known it, so he didn't refute it when he heard it.
"Your aunt is really angry because of some personal problems."
"Is it because of my ex-uncle?"
The girl asked, "I heard that he has been taking people around the school for the past two days?" Did you go to harass my aunt? β
"Not really."
Mellen thought that her ex-husband and brother had accidentally fallen into the pit, so how could she still care about emotional problems, and said simply: "It's just that I accidentally ruined some of the rituals that should have been very romantic, huh...... Not a big deal. β
Romantic? Ritualistic?
The girl seemed to be a little puzzled when she heard this, and after thinking about it, she suddenly realized something.
"Need help?" She then asked.
"How can you help?"
"Helping you vent your fire?"
This is a surprise statement.
At first, Mellen thought she was joking, or teasing herself.
But looking at her serious appearance at the moment, it is obviously not like it.
Mellen couldn't help but be interested.
"Have you ever done anything like this before?"
"I haven't even held a man's hand." The girl replied with a blank face.
"Then how dare you say that?"
"It's the quickest way to get closer to us."
The girl replied calmly, "I see that you were quite interested in me just now. β
"It's just surprising you're not a tablet."
Melen wouldn't admit that she was interested in Juliana's niece, who could easily overturn.
After hearing this, the party looked at him noncommittally, but did not talk much about this topic.
When she walked through the forest park with Mellen, her expression and tone seemed very normal, "How did you think about your proposal last time?" β
"What proposal?"
"When your fiancΓ©e proposes, help you deal with your relationship with other women."
"Let's talk about that."
Mellen replied with a lack of interest.
He didn't feel that he had any current relationship problems that he needed to solve in front of him - the biggest problem was actually the mother-daughter relationship between Alyssa and his wife, but this one obviously couldn't solve it.
Athena didn't say anything when she heard this, but when she saw Meren glancing down, she took the initiative to raise her hand and hook her collar outward.
Relying on his height to look down, the scenery in the collar instantly entered Merlen's eyes.
As he had guessed, he really didn't wear anything but a robe and a coat.
"Don't tempt me anymore."
After taking a closer look at the airfield inside, Melen looked away innocently, "I'm not interested in you. β
Before saying this, Athena believed that because of her height, it was rare that someone would really be interested in her.
But Mellen's previous performance proves that he is not one of those who are without feelings.
This actually surprised the girl, and then she did not hesitate to prepare to use this as a breakthrough.
"I'll take a shower when I get back."
She generously invited, "Do you want to be together?" β
"Considering your aunt's existence, I think you're playing with fire." Mellen replied.
"I'm not going to tell her."
Athena said: "She's actually stupid, and I'm confident that I won't be noticed by her if I'm cheating with you." β
"But I only like stupid women." Mellen meant something, and then changed the subject without waiting for the other party to say anything more.
"How are those people from the Helios Church doing now?"
This was actually the right thing he wanted to ask when he came to him.
"It is currently being housed on nearby Blackreef Island."
Athena was not surprised that Melen would change the subject, because she had already seen that although her private life was a bit chaotic, Melen was not an abusive person, and she would not accept others easily.
"They originally wanted to come to Ray Island, because this is where the last destroyed base of the Helios Church was located, but considering the complicated internal situation of Thunder Island, my family did not agree."
"Who's in there?"
"It's just a group of old and sick, and I've looked closely, and there's nothing to care about except the one who can summon the mysterious knight."
As she spoke, she glanced at Melen casually, "Why are you suddenly curious about this?" β
"After all, it was one of the two major religions in the past."
Of course, Mellen couldn't tell the truth, "If nothing else, it is of some value to study the history of religion alone." β
"Religious history is the most useless."
Athena said disapprehantly: "Little wisdom can't be learned, great wisdom can't be learned, and the school opened this course probably just to satisfy the students' sense of superiority as modern wizards." β
Mellen smiled and didn't say anything.
"Actually, sometimes, I think you have a sense of superiority when you look at other people's eyes." The girl didn't want to let him go, and when she looked sideways, her eyes were full of inquiry, "You have a lot of secrets?" β
"That's just your delusion."
Mellen replied.
"I don't think it's a delusion."
The girl shook her head and said, "I've been quietly observing you whenever I have time lately, and I found outβ"
Her words suddenly stopped, and her eyes flashed at a bush in the forest not far away, and a flash of surprise.
"Do you see, there's a corpse there?"
She turned to Mellen, "Looks like the student who had a conflict with Kevin. β
