Chapter 194: Escape

Eric could see the anxiety on her face, but he knew better than anyone what he was doing.

He leaned over again, grabbed Serra by the neck and kissed her.

The brutal kiss unconsciously let go of tenderness.

Her gaze gradually blurred, her hair was scattered, and the smell on her body was sweet and fragrant.

Eric really wanted to drag her to confess and sink like that.

But it's always dawn.

Morning side.

Serra, who had slept in the cabin all night, woke up.

I don't know when the heat source around me dissipated, and there was only a chill on the thin futon.

She sat up, light peeking in through the cracks in the closed windows.

"Eric?"

No one responded.

She lifted the quilt and got out of bed, and groped her way to the door and opened it with the little light that came in.

The birds in the mountains and forests chirp crisply, and there are traces of bonfires on the ground ahead.

She slept with Eric last night, expecting him to talk to her calmly in the morning, but there was no sign of him.

Only Jem dragged a bear out of the bushes behind him, excitedly lamenting the day's harvest.

"Jem, where's Eric?" Serra asked as she walked down the steps.

He turned his head to look at her and smiled awkwardly, "Oh, I almost forgot about you, I had to live a normal life before we left, he went to the barracks, and told me to wait for you to wake up and take you home."

Serra frowned, "I thought he would talk to me."

"Talking about what? Talk about how you rejected him?"

Jem was so direct that Sierra was speechless for a moment.

Was he afraid that she would be too resolute, so he chose to avoid her?

"Did you really do this? Or are you shielding someone?" Jem asked her again, a hint of probing in his tone.

Serra pursed her lower lip, "It's me, can you please take me back?"

The servants of the manor were in a state of despair because she had not returned for the night.

Seeing that the owner came back intact, they all breathed a sigh of relief.

"This is an invitation to the flower show from Miss Khaleda, she has a pot of flowers to display, and I hope you will be able to watch the competition in a few days."

The servant handed her the white card.

Serra glanced down, "Got it."

There was no emotional disturbance from anyone, and there was no calculation of the Lizzie family, she stayed in the manor every day to swim in the lake, bask in the sun, and her days rarely became leisurely and peaceful.

Whenever this happens, she always remembers the life she once had.

Probably everything that happened here, everything she had made her feel unreal and needed to keep repeating herself that it was just an immersive game.

Even if a person's life is lonely, she has her own small house, a notebook, and three meals a day, which is the normal state of her life.

She was always eagerly looking forward to going home.

The day of the flower show was fast approaching, and the bad thing was that Wally's changeable weather said it would rain when it rained, and the only road to the flower show was muddy.

Serra's car had an accident on the way, and the wheel got stuck in a mud puddle, so she had to get out of the car and wait for the servants to push it out with an umbrella on the side of the road.

The Lizzie family's car happened to be passing by, and he called someone to stop the car and call her through the window, "Come on, I'll take you for a ride."

He seemed to have forgotten the tension between the two sides at the beginning, and his face seemed to be a little older than before.

Serra spoke to the servant behind him and got into his car.

Josie was nowhere to be seen in the car, only Annahi alone.

She was as glamorous as ever, and she looked at Serra twice, quickly looking away.

It seems that he is still haunted by the fact that he took away Mawson Manor and almost strangled her.

The rain outside the car window was getting heavier and heavier, and at last I couldn't see the road outside.

The flower show is in the mountains, and it is about to show their beauty in the most primitive ecological environment.

Many cars had already arrived, and Annahi opened the door and got out of the car with an umbrella, and walked forward without saying a word.

As soon as Serra came off her hind feet, she heard her cry, and then looked over to see her throw herself into Eric's arms.

Meeting him here was unexpected.

"Serra!" Calida stood afar under the sheltered building and beckoned to her, and the beautiful mermaid had already stepped down first, passing Eric, to Serra's side, and getting under her umbrella.

Serra withdrew her gaze from Eric, and was amazed at the man who was put around his shoulders by Rosid.

"You're coming to see the flower show, too?"

"It was Zachary who was invited by Khalida, and I know you're here too." He took the umbrella from her hand and said dissatisfiedly, "Don't you even need a male companion to accompany you?"

It's angry that I don't take him anymore.

She smiled and said, "How did I know you would be interested in flowers, if I did, I would call you."

Roshide tilted his head and kissed her ear, "I'm interested in you, and I'll like whatever you like."

Eric watched the two interact intimately, and the fishy mermaid deliberately covered his gaze from Serra with his body.

The two of them walked by affectionately, causing his honey-colored face to fade and his heart began to ache again.

Annahi tried to get Eric to help her, but he took a sharp step back, turned and walked away.

If Lizzie hadn't grabbed her in time, she would have fallen into the mud today.

Annahi clenched the corners of her dress, and the rain soaked the hem of her skirt for a moment.

They don't even need a greeting from each other, they are so strange.

Without the restraints of her family, and even the three male protagonists already knew about each other's existence, Sierra did not hide from Roshide's act of swearing sovereignty, but Eric's eyes made her stabbed in the back.

She was really surprised that he was here.

When she met Khaleda, she asked softly, and then she realized that Lizzi was in charge of the flower show held here, but his daily style and reputation as an earl were too bad, and the organizer was replaced by the wife of a high-ranking military official.

She was a pregnant baroness, and Eric and his soldiers came to see the flower show and act as guardians of the lady.

"Do you have any flowers?" Roshide asked, biting her ear.

"I can't raise flowers, and I don't have the art of flower arrangement." She nudged him, "There are a lot of people, you pay attention to your image."

"Then when you're done with the event, will you go home with me?" He will not give up until he has achieved his goal.

"Alright, alright, I'll have dinner with you, but for now we'll be honest about the flower show, and then we'll vote for Khalida's flowers."

"I think she's ugly." Loyd's words pierced Khalida's heart directly, and the Kraken filter on him before was shattered, and she glared at him bluntly.

"Your fish is rude."

Zachary stood beside her and pinched the back of her hand, rarely without rebuttal.

When Serra saw this, she knew that the fishpond in Khaleda had been built.
