Chapter 19: Restless New York
The news of Thor's removal was told by Diana's neighbor when she was about to visit Thor after work.
However, looking at MjΓΆlnier, who was firmly bound by the Lasso of Truth, Diana no longer cared about it. According to Thor's neighbors' descriptions of the people who took Thor, Diana knew pretty much who it was.
After all, I've been dealing with each other for so long, S.H.I.E.L.D.
Standing on the rooftop of her house, looking up at the sky of New York City, Diana squinted, always feeling that the originally calm lake in New York City had begun to ripple recently.
Retracting her gaze to the sky, Diana returned to her room.
Far away in Washington's Sanqu Wing building, an agent wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. Diana's look just now always made people feel that they would come to their side in the next second.
Forget it, let's play with your own little bee. Spying on a transcendent is too much of a test for your mind, and I believe that your two bosses will be willing to forgive you.
Just as he turned his head to play the game, a red figure swept out of Diana's small building.
The red figure was Diana herself.
Her destination is none other than New York's most chaotic suburb, Hell's Kitchen.
There have been too many dead people in New York City lately. Since half a month ago, this rising death toll has made Diana feel a little strange, but because the police announced that the deaths were all due to gang members, Diana did not take it to heart.
But it is impossible for any gang to have so many living forces after half a month of firefighting, and no one will continue.
But the impossible happened.
If you don't know, you have to figure it out, and these people are starting to affect the lives of civilians. It doesn't matter if they die or not, civilians are not a reason to be drawn into the fighting between them.
To find out what happened, you have to start from the source, and the source of all problems is in the destination of this time, Hell's Kitchen.
In Hell's Kitchen, several figures gather together, as if the shareholders of the company are sitting together to discuss the future direction of the company, except that they are asking for human life.
"I wonder why we haven't gotten rid of all that crumbs yet!" Sitting in the first person, the huge and burly body brings a sense of oppression that is far beyond ordinary people.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Fisk. We don't know exactly how the outsiders did it. The man with a thick Russian accent said to Mr. Fisk, "They always come out like bugs." β
"No, it's like rats can always survive in all kinds of disgusting places." Another figure spoke.
β¦β¦
Fisk also understands that this is not a problem with the people present here. But the recent fires in New York have begun to attract the attention of those who shouldn't be paying attention to these small big names.
"It can't go on like this." Wilson Grant Fisk rubbed his brows and sighed, "Although I don't want to develop like this, continuing this fight will definitely bring some people down." β
The man with a Russian accent also thinks so, and he has been making a lot of troubles lately, and he is a little annoyed that one of the best killers in the Continental Hotel is leaving, but he is dragged down by the things of those outsiders.
"I'll talk to each other." Fisk waved his hand and decided to dismiss the meeting.
"Boom!"
The sudden voice made several figures present stare at Fisk angrily.
"What do you want?"
"Will you take advantage of this meeting to clean us up?"
β¦β¦
Fisk frowned and shook his head.
Everyone knows that the man in front of him should not make a move on himself in this situation, but who can believe it?
How many of the members of this meeting are really honest?
No.
While everyone in the room was watching out for each other, the door was smashed by a figure, and the man was castrated and smashed on the conference table where a crowd of people were sitting.
"Whoa!"
At this point, no one bothered with the smashed conference table, and all eyes were on the doorway. The smoke and dust from the overly powerful force blocked the view of these people.
What? You say that person? For them, none of the people who had ever been able to set foot in the house before were important.
As for that kind of inhuman power, there are few people here who have not seen those transcendental, let alone those street heroes who can't get along with themselves and others.
Diana's figure slowly emerged.
Even with this kind of smoke and dust, her body is still as smooth as new, and there are no stains on her beautiful face.
"Looks like we've got another female hero to play again." A black man whistled and laughed.
"Little girl, are you cossing Wonder Woman?" And another gangster is directly ready to get started and try to see if the red armor is really close. Who made this woman unbearable.
But three of them, instead of feeling any lightheartedness, were vigilant. Fisk gripped his cane, and the Russian man pulled out his hidden pistol.
The third man looked calm, but his narrowed pupils told everyone that he was in turmoil.
Diana didn't have much patience for these crumbs.
As soon as the man's outstretched hand was broken by Diana, revealing a bloody broken arm bone.
"Ahh My hand! β
The next moment, the black man who was busy whistling was thrown directly by Diana on the wall.
It was as if the black, red, and white oil paint had been completely hung on the wall, and there was also a crater on the wall.
Others understand that this is completely different from the usual street heroes, at least they will not come up and kill directly.
Fisk put down his cane and sorted out his appearance. He'd just done a simulation, and he could make people like that, a puddle of flesh and blood, but he couldn't just throw it away. Not to mention the unbelievable speed.
This is no longer a gap that people can make up, and it is impossible to close the gap even with the help of external forces.
Fisk gave up his intention to resist, and everyone who remained gave up. Shoot? The woman had just walked five meters from the doorway to where the had just stood, who had noticed how she had passed?
If she wanted to, she could have killed them all just now.
Diana walked up to the man who was still holding her severed hand and howling.
The man suddenly pulled out a pistol and opened fire.
"Bump!"
The bullet hit Diana in the center of the eyebrow, but the original shape of the bullet was no longer visible, except for a piece of steel wrapped in copper.
Just as the man fired, everyone hoped to kill the woman who had become Wonder Woman with one shot.
Now looking at the man whose neck was crushed with one hand by the woman, I can only thank him for telling them that at least the pistol is ineffective against the woman.
Eventually, Fisk asked, "I wonder what this lady should be called?" β
Diana took off the mantra lasso around her waist and tied Fisk.
"Now, I ask, you answer."
The glittering light on the lasso of Truth was telling the remaining Black Boss in the room that this thing wasn't fake.
As the object of the lasso of the truth, Mr. Fisk is the most vocal, and the burning heat cannot be faked.
"Did you start the gang fight in New York City?"
"It's not." Fisk didn't have to lie, and they really didn't provoke this war.
Diana went on to ask, "What's the reason for that?" β
"An outside group called the Hand wanted to enter New York looking for something, but it wasn't possible."
"So you started the bloodshed?" Diana asked, frowning.
Fizek was also helpless: "They didn't talk to us anymore, they sent people directly into New York, and this war began." β
Diana withdrew the mantra lasso: "I don't care if you fight each other, whatever it is, it's not a reason for you to get civilians involved. β
Fisk once again packed his clothes: "Okay. I'm going to talk to the hand, ma'am, are you coming? β
Diana looked at Fisk and then turned to leave.
